Easy to use interface.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface of Ortto, writing emails daily can be challenging if the software is not easy to use, Ortto is easy to use. Thumbs up from me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the segmentation tools, it does the job but some improvements could be made to make it easy to send to specific people.

Helps me to send mass emails at scale.
Easy to use marketing platform
What do you like best about the product?
If you're a marketer or marketing team that is looking for a marketing platform that can handle emails, custom email journeys, capture forms and a lot lot more then this really is a great product to consider. We used Pardot as our previous system and we have found Ortto a lot easier to use, and some of the features we get with Ortto (like subject headline analyser) just don't exist in Pardot.
Set up was relatively straight forward and we had our first cadence up and running within a couple of days.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that Ortto doesn't provide is Landing Pages (preferring to do capture widgets) which is fine, but it would be really useful if it was able to provide this. That said it's not really a bit negative for us as we just create a landing page on our website and put the capture widget onto that.
Overall there isn't anything so far (after 5 months of usage) that I dislike about Ortto.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, Ortto is our customer communication platform. We use it to communicate to our clients on both our desktop application (via email) and our SAAS platform (through email, pop ups and some of the new features released this month).
Great Connectivity & Reliability
What do you like best about the product?
Ortto is a very cost-effective alternative to other B2B ESP/marketing platforms. All the basics are included with a clean interface and excellent service. We've implemented it now a few times for our teams, and it's been relatively flawless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The form editor preview could be a little more flexible and user friendly but certainly not anything that would prevent us from using it in the future. It a matter of screen real estate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ortto is our primary lead capture tool and ESP. It's far more cost effective and better for our minimal email sending routine. While it provides all the necessary data integrations and functionality, it's lightweight and reliable.
Good Automation Softare
What do you like best about the product?
Ortto is a good tool to build prospect and/or customer journeys. It's robust and integrates with existing tools such as SFDC. The platform is pretty straightforward and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We used Autopilot previously which Ortto took over. The biggest issue I have is the transition hasn't been super smooth from a user experience perspective. Sometime I log in and am using the autopilot platform and other times I log in and it takes me to Ortto. It doesn't seem like the platforms have been fully integrated and I haven't seen any clear communication around this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its enabling us to communicate with customers effectively and track those communications. We are able to sync our efforts with our CRM to show activity and engagement with customers.

One thing I appreciate about Ortto is its robust email automation capabilities. Still trying to understand the best way to function with the tool.

A lot of bugs on the app. Also it lacks user experience (ex: when creating a journey I can not preview the email I am sending)

Lack of control and dependence on third-party.

Ortto is solving problems related to design skills, limited budgets and brand recognition by providing affordable and customized branding and marketing services.
Good UX but very limited in available functionalities.
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up journeys and campaigns is intuitive and very straightforward. The UX has been well thought out and the options for setting up triggers and actions are very extensive. Support is really great.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are pretty much limited to the style and layout as defined by Ortto. You can customise some colours and fonts, but the options within the features are quite limited. In addition, you would expect features that are possible with the available data, but you simply don't find any. You can request them but it can then take a very long time before they are added. So the product is still in development.
Another thing that disappoints us is having to have a separate account for each domain just because we use a different logo for each domain. As a result, we are paying much more than expected. They did promise us a 20% discount, but afterwards this turned out to be for the first year only. We had to leave the previous one quickly because it was not working, we are now with Ortto but the question is whether this is for the longer term.

We use Ortto for our webshop to send newsletters and abandoned carts. We also wish to apply it for transactional e-mails, but here we are currently running into limitations.
The swiss knife of marketing automation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, but capable of creating complex new business, up, cross sell and retention setups. Connecting any form on any website easily and Cartier responses and building up dynamisch profiles is a breeze. Used it for numourous start ups within large companies. It realy shows that comprehensive and effective marketing automation is a marketing tool and not an 'it-departement project'.

I had to get used to The new ortto user interface being a autopilot dan sinds 2015. But help/support is quick and got me there.
