We love Ortto!
What do you like best about the product?
Ortto's platform is extremely user friendly. I appreciate the updates and improvements they've made in the last two years! The many integrations allow our business to see a global view of our marketing efforts!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of Ortto is the email editor. It can be glitchy and hard to use at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ortto allows us to create lead journeys and member journeys that automate our touch points and provide us with valuable lead and customer data to inform our marketing efforts.
Good, still learning to use.
What do you like best about the product?
There is a level of ambiguity with using Ortto. We work with several different vendors and being able to use Ortto without the constraint of only a few of our vendors is beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
We originally were leveraging autopilot and since being adapted to Ortto we haven't gotten much outreach out the benefits of Ortto itself. Essentially there is more to offer than what we are using because no one has told us much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated emails for multiple campaigns for different clients and their employees. We leverage the integrations the platform has with our scheduling software as well to promote automated emails before our meetings.
Good for small companies
What do you like best about the product?
Ortto makes the importing of contacts and sending once-off campaign emails super easy. It does take some getting used to, however, the UI is quite pleasant and the support staff are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 'and' 'or' functions when filtering can be a bit confusing. I also find that while constructing journeys, there are some tricks that you need to learn in order to do them well. One gripe I have is that often if you copy and paste text from a different document, the formatting within the email does not remain and requires manual changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating customer journeys is beneficial in Ortto.
Ortto successfully manages a variety of campaign types and provides simple and relevant reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of playbooks and how easily it is integrated with Salesforce. I plan on exploring the customer support features more over the next while. I have also had great help so far from your support team!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the journey editing process overly complex because it makes a copy of every instance of your email. I understand why this is the structure; however, compared to other systems I've used, such as HubSpot, it creates more manual work (which is inconsistent with Ortto's products being designed to help automate). For example if I want to use the same email in five different parts of a flow, and need to change a link I'd need to do so in each instance of the email instead of the flow just pulling from one source of that email).

Running campaigns, customer onboarding and testing engagement strategies.

Ability to deploy campaigns quickly, set up automations and segment audiences based on CRM activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The playbooks feature is not simple and Ortto generally has a steep learning curve.

What do you like best about the product?
The numerous customization options available for email marketing and widgets. The last few updates and improvements have been very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some app integrations, like Shopify, do not always function perfectly. Metrics sometimes differ from what is shown on Shopify and what is on Ortto.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firstly, it enables my company to have a centralized database of all our B2C and B2B clients. As well, it enables us to automate some marketing campaigns, saving us time.
No code low code marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The journeys interface and the no-code low-code experience on creating smart marketing campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot attach files to email when sending a campaign or when triggering an automated journey via API. It would be really useful to be able to attach everything to the email. We are currently using another software for those campaigns.

Onboarding, retention, abandon recovery and transactional email communication.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Ortto so far, I like most the professional design and customized services that offers.

Nothing to say so far, maybe the fact that you have less control over the design and branding process than you would if you were working with an in-house team.

I think that Ortto is solving problems related to design skills, time constraints and limited budgets.
Powerful and Intuitive Marketing Automation software.
What do you like best about the product?
Ortto's user interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. The powerful features allow for marketing automation to deliver customized marketing experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're a non-profit, so some of the features, although great, don't apply to us. The person profile could provide a slightly better timeline or view of their activity.

Ortto provides a wide range of tools and analytics that make email marketing a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transition from Autopilot to Ortto has been a bit challenging, but that comes with any transition from one system to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ortto makes email marketing, customer journeys, and data analytics much more convenient and reliable. It has everything you need in one place, which is a godsend!
