The prices for Ortto keep scaling higher, which is problematic and make many subscribers fear the app

Most of the features are locked behind the premium version of Ortto, and this caps the efficiency and reliability of the app

Love Ortto - does everything I needed it to and a lot more
What do you like best about the product?
The UX design itself makes using Ortto a pleasure; the functionality is top, I don't have any complaints except I'm not using it to it's full extent because it's always got more to offer than we've got time to implement - a good problem to have! Support and account managers are amazing too, really can't complain about anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind - I guess it's very sophisticated so as I said, it's evolving at a faster pace than our business needs - this isn't a bad thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of all our marketing and comms and supporting with UX via integration of user research touch points. Reporting and syncing helps us better understand our customers and we're able to efficiently tie together a lot of product and marketing requirements in one tool.

price is quite high, limited custom reports, learning curve for complex features so new users feel overwhelmed, inconsistent email interface displayed

What do you like best about the product?
I think the dashboard and email scheduling features are really useful and much more interactive than the ones I've used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The custom reporting option is a bit limited in terms of what we can do, and I would like more functionality there with cohort analysis.

It's helping us have a solid retention system in placed and communicating to our clients.

1. Solid drag&drop builder. No crazy bells and whistles, but an all around solid template builder that ensures consistent results in all major email providers.
2. Vast data connection options - it's very easy to create and connect different external activities and additional parameters on which to later base segmentation or automations. The opportunities here are limitless.
3. Very quick and pleasant customer service. The agents are knowledgeable and reply fast.

Lead scoring and number of audiences you can have has very low hard limits based on subscription plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very easy to set up new Acitivities in the CDP for segmentation or automations, without the need to involve developers or BI.

What do you like best about the product?
Many integrations, especially with our CRM. Very good when first starting out.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hasn't scaled as well as we'd liked. Integrations sometimes breakdown, and it's difficult to manage multiple campaigns within the platform. Feel like you may need to have a seperate content calendar but it would be good to have this feature within the app.

It's allowing us to integrate our data sources and send content - both sales + marketing.

I really like how Ortto combines customer data, journey automation, and reporting all in one place without feeling overwhelming. The visual journey builder is intuitive, so you can map out complex sequences without getting lost in the details. I also appreciate that it’s built for growing businesses, not just huge enterprises, so the pricing and features scale well. Overall, Ortto makes sophisticated marketing automation feel approachable and keeps everything tied back to real revenue impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like about Ortto is that some of the advanced features, like deeper customer data segmenting or multi-touch attribution, can feel a bit limited compared to bigger enterprise tools. The reporting dashboards, while clean, sometimes lack the flexibility to dig into very specific metrics without extra manual work. Also, the learning curve for setting up more complex automations is steeper than the marketing makes it sound, so if you’re completely new to automation, you might feel a bit lost at first. Overall, it’s powerful, but not always as plug-and-play as advertised.

Ortto solves the problem of scattered customer data and disconnected marketing efforts by bringing everything into one unified platform. Instead of jumping between different tools for email, SMS, pop-ups, and customer tracking, Ortto lets you build, automate, and measure everything in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can easily integrate with our Salesforce and that I can connect the relevant data fields to utilise for our email marketing. The actual content creation page is also user friendly and has a number of great features for customisation and optimisation. The customer service team are also very responsive and always willing to help me out when I have a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is quite significant, especially if you have a larger database.

Ortto allows us to segment our audience and communicate with them through beautifully designed and timed communications.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that the CDP is integrated, allowing us to involve the engineers only once. This integration enables us to utilize the activities across our communications and dashboards effectively. The dashboards have also been incredibly helpful, providing real-time data analysis of our activities. Lastly, the ability to leverage this data and target audiences on Google and Facebook is fantastic for our marketing team. Customer support is always available for us and the onboarding was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more integration with the CDP and that the existing ones would work both ways. For example, we would love to be able to push our activities from ORTTO to other tools like GA4 or Intercom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us to centralise data without implementing a full CDP solution and reuse the data within our communication.
