There is no better way to collect, store, and categorize insights.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how insights can easily be collected and then stored with a potential problem or solution. This allows for quick storage that is effective. When insights are stored in Productboard and attached to a solution from my product managers, I can rest knowing it has been considered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI features take some getting used to, but once you are over the hump, it is a very effective UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting insights, categorizing potential solutions, ranking best solutions, taking action, communicating roadmap to the organization.

We love the flexibility of the different view for engineering, product and design.
Love the bi-directional Jira integration.

What do you dislike about the product?
Presentations could be a bit better - meaning that I still have to use Google Slides, etc. to present to a larger audience.
I'm not sure how you get around this, but I'd love to see opportunities to streamline this in the future.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Really helping us get higher-level with our roadmap and be able to communicate the "right level" of information to product and techology leaders, so we can inform the rest of the company.
Very complete product management tool (in the broadest sense of the word management)
What do you like best about the product?
Easy story/ticket creation with good visualization options
Features hierarchy works great, together with the roadmap setup and configurable views.

What do you dislike about the product?
In regards to not being a Product/Tech driven organization, the collaboration value is limited to our organization and, therefore relatively too expensive for the usage of a higher plan with OKRs tooling (which I love using).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility and collaboration on our roadmap and running issues. Productboard helps to create visibility and transparency on the future path our product is heading.

What do you like best about the product?
The design looks clean and modern, with simple colors and basic icons. Productboard offers a multitude of options for planning and organizing work and constructing roadmaps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the spreadsheet import feature only allows for two fields to be imported. This makes it difficult to import our current roadmap data into Productboard without a considerable amount of manual data entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Productboard is helping us solve is roadmap planning, roadmap organization, and sharing our roadmap cross-functionally across our organization.

The fact that we can integrate it with other platforms like slack and jira

The feature and sub feature creation and visibility should be more functional

Feature categorization and status, user insights inside each one - this is extremely helpful to gather everything related there. My performance increase because I spend less time collecting user feedback

I love the matrix view but it is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing feedback and easily pushing to backlog, one backlog multiple roadmap views. It made my entire team more productive by saving us all time.

Productboard has a really intuitive UI and makes it easy to have product strategy discussions

Productboard isn't commonly used in my org so a lot of people find it hard to collaborate on

We often have to have complex product strategy discussions and have found it difficult to understand where we're at in the product dev process; Productboard helps us keep track of that

What do you dislike about the product?
The hierarchy of features and subfeatures is constrained to 2 feature layers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Displaying technical content from JIRA at a more abstract level.
Not enough value added for the costs involved.

Connects with Intercom well and helps to collate multiple customer insights from various sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure of it's real value, it's always looking backwards. Maybe it adds value for simpler tools but for us, it's a tough sell.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the tool we use to collate insights from 1000's of users and sort them into a list of features. It is all manual though, very time consuming and error prone. There is automation, but it doesn't work.
