The interactions between Features and the Roadmap could use work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking different insights for the same feature request has helped us stay organized and understand the problems users want us to solve.
Great software for managing your software feedback and feature planning
What do you like best about the product?
We heavily use the product portal to collect feedback along with Intercom to dig out insights to pass along to the product team from customers. This process is really smooth and has increased productivity greatly. I've used Productboard in two different companies and would definitely pick it again if I had the choice.
The feedback portal is really nice and I love that we were able to authenticate users directly when the portal is embedded in our application.
Flexible status for features are awesome.
The interface is top notch. It might not be what you're used to, but give it a chance and you'll get used to it and be more productive than ever. I am specifically referring to hotkeys and the ease of dragging and dropping features around.

What do you dislike about the product?
My dislikes are small nitpicks.
Intercom chats are tagged at the message level, but when they arrive in Intercom they are tagged on the conversation level, so in a long chain we can't see which particular message prompted a "feature request" tag that we add to sync over to Productboard. As a result, we ask all support team members to summarize the feature request at the bottom so it's easy to find. But then we are adding an insight in the words of our support team member and not what the customer said. Would be nice to have the tags show up on the message to remove this step.
You can add custom fields for your features, however, you can't add a date picker custom field. This would be very helpful.
While there is a Github integration it's not that useful for us. It allows you to sync a Github task to a feature in Productboard. Sounds fine right? Well, it's rare that a feature in productboard correspondes to a single task in Github. Usually it's a combination of tasks, and tasks in Github are really Open or Closed, there isn't a status for them. That of course is a fault of Github, but it would be nice to be able to sync Github differently, maybe sync to a PR?
I wish there were more roles, or the permissions for each role was a bit more flexible. For example, if you set up a nice board and want to loop in your marketing team to have them complete a task, they need to be a maker, which is a paid role. Many people may have a single task to complete, but they aren't feature shaping and thus it's not worth to add a paid account for them to watch a single potential task for them. We had to take our non-product teams out of the mix since it's too expensive to involve them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Direct association of feedback to features in the pipeline and communication with our customers on the upcoming roadmap.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say this is in the top tier of software in this vertical. Definitely worth exploring.
ProductBoard has helped to improve the communication gap from our product team to other teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization of the boards - each product team has their own board, where employees can view what is int the roadmap, and have link-outs to understand where in the product development cycle a particular feature is—Jira, confluence, googl docs, invision, etc.
I love the slack integration as well. It has been a great place for customer-facing departments to provide feedback and feature requests.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our current pricing tier only allows for a certain number of makers - it would be nice to have more seats without the price jumping up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize the boards heavily to showcase each team's release boards by quarter and prioritization. We have found that more nonproduct departments have started to utilize these boards and follow releases they care about - this has helped communication when new projects shift priorities when a project enters testing, and beta phases. It has honestly made products job much easier.
Productboard is an elegant, innovative solution in a SAAS world saturated in repetition
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way they facilitate the the workflow of product management. There's a ton of different pieces needed in coordinating a product roadmap, and PB guides you the entire way, while allowing for transparency to all stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the predefined colors are less than appealing. For example, when selecting roadmap categories, one cannot choose an arbitrary color for an upcoming release, but are stuck viewing the yellow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problems of organizing features along with priority factors along with insights, which can be a mess while trying to align across the team.
Productboard has given us the product panopticon.

Great tool to gathering customer's feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Productboard is a straightforward tool for gathering, analyzing, managing customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't use the Roadmap feature at all. I think it is not a tailored function for creating and managing good product roadmaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ProductBoard gives me one place where I can keep all of our customers' feedback from different sources.
User friendly and organized
What do you like best about the product?
Productboard is very convenient for collecting all of your user feedback / internal staffing feedback into one place and then ranking those insights based on different criteria. My company tries to tackle repeat issues that have a high user impact score.
What do you dislike about the product?
With a ton of user insights pouring in every day, it can be challenging to make sure that everything is processed on time and is objectively rated on the same scale every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productboard helps us collect feedback from our users all in one place. We can categorize and organize insights so that the most impactful and high-demand features get worked on first.
Productboard- easy sorting, viewing and searching
What do you like best about the product?
I love all the different views I can create, and how I can weigh different drivers to affect an issue's importance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love an option to sort by date, such as "issues added in the last week"- that would make grooming my list much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productboard has helped my team work by the numbers, and has really allowed me to select upcoming stories based on true impact and not customer feedback.
Very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The views and how simple it is to share information and to visualize roadmaps
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a bit better user experience, maybe some templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving visibility issues. It was very hard for me to have everyone on the same page and with productboard we have all the information in one place.
