A new way to do product work and communicate with stakeholders
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked the most was all the ways I can setup custom views and show only what's most important about my product features and roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira integration is fairly limited, which kinda sucks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product work communication and stakeholders alignment.
Productboard makes every product managers life easier
What do you like best about the product?
The organization of user feedback through ProductBoard makes it easier to ensure all feedback is sent to the right people.
What do you dislike about the product?
No private notes. I would love to keep all my notes in ProductBoard, but there are some notes I'm not ready to share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization of our user feedback is simple and easy to use with ProductBoard. Once I input my notes, I can tag the correct people who would find the helpful feedback. This is very important because sometimes when doing a user interview for a specific feature leads to the user talking about other areas of the product that might not be in my domain.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it's so easy to use Productboard. You don't need any training to figure it out. What's more, customer portal is really helpful and I like the smooth integration with Intercom. Last but not least, the support team is always very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to my mind, I think it's a really great solution!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to collect all the customer feedback easily in Productboard. We also prioritize feature requests thanks to the insights in the tool and we're finally able to close the feedback loop.
The best tool for aggregating customer feedback and choosing what to build!
What do you like best about the product?
productboard makes it insanely effortless to aggregate customer feedback, whether it's emails from customers, meeting notes, or feedback shared online. It's the only tool we've found that makes this task easy enough that people might actually go through the effort of organizing feedback in an actionable format! Otherwise, people just let feedback get dropped and forgotten!
What do you dislike about the product?
There really hasn't been much to dislike. Productboard is truly the tool for product managers, and it has basically everything I could want in it. My main pain point would be that the public voting portal doesn't have a search feature, so if you have a lot of feature requests you're seeking feedback on, it could be difficult for your customers to find a feature and vote on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business problem we're trying to solve is aggregating our customer feedback into an actionable format, so that we can effectively plan and prioritize based on top customer requests, keep our team customer-driven, and keep the customer at the forefront of everything we do.
Additional benefits we've realized beyond that is that productboard is insanely helpful at remaining tasks, like roadmaps, planning via objectives, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
productboard is definitely expensive (although all similar offerings seem expensive), but consider the time productboard will save your product managers from capturing and organizing feedback, and the immense time and effort saved by helping ensure you're building the right features for customers since you have tooling to help indicate what customers are most interested in!
Helpful to collect, summarize, view, and use
What do you like best about the product?
I can tag different pieces of feedback from the same call to different features
What do you dislike about the product?
The prioritization chart (bubble chart) hasn't been the most helpful yet, but I suspect it will be once I get to a higher critical mass of features. Jury is still out!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting all insights from calls with users, feedback from our internal customer-facing teams, or from emails to our support channel. Then, using those insights to be able to properly prioritize our development cycles.
Best tool to streamline Product efforts
What do you like best about the product?
The impressive thing about Productboard is how well it can adapt to most Product processes while still being simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to have a deeper integration between the tools we use and Productboard, but their public API is pretty much useless. They are working on a beta API, but it seems like it'll take a while until it solves the problems I want to solve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User feedback collection, backlog prioritization, specs, discovery collaboration, sprint planning, and post-release stuff (release notes, success measurement).
Great features and support, could use more flexibility for customization.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the workflow of receiving comments, promoting them to features, and then on to development. I have also appreciated the fast response from support, as well as the expansive knowledgebase as we went through the process of onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a bit confused/dissatisfied with how to notify people when we launch a feature. It would be nice if the followers that are on the feature from the beginning could be notified more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productboard gives us a useful barrier between Development and Sales, and allows us to gather customer feedback more directly. This has helped us avoid quickly switching gears to address "hot button" feature requests that may or may not actually be very valuable long-term. It has also helped improve communication with Sales and our customers.
Made things TOO easy.. and now it's not intuitive any longer
What do you like best about the product?
The feature upvote and portal interface to internal/external customers for act within
What do you dislike about the product?
We have multiple JIRA instances across 4 companies and cannot collect items.. creates redundancy for Product Managers between platforms. It seems to only pull in epics (from what I read) for roadmapping exercise.. Why is this better than JIRA for that if everything has to be contained in an epic for the integration JQL to pull in, report on, and or push?
Exportable format for communication. If there's a roadmapping feature.. why can't it be communicated easily?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product feature voting & ranking.. I live in JIRA... and looked for a good interface to provide better visuals on present and future than Atlassian offers. This didn't do the trick... It can't be updated without many clicks and hours spent by a PM.. and can't be circulated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would not recommend this product to anyone that relies on the Atlassian suite for day to day.
Complete Platform for Managing Product
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have some collaborators involved, from product, executives, sales, other staff, and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limits put in place on makers and the number of products to track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its vital that we are able to collect and process the good feedback and ideas we have from all corners of our universe surrounding our universe.
Product Manager review of productboard
What do you like best about the product?
Organization & Visibility to stakeholders (internal and external). Product board makes it very easy to plan for the long term. The dependency feature is also great and allows you to plan more strategically and feature dependent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steep, but once you figure it out the tool becomes very powerful. It seems like the team is rolling out new features a lot but sometimes it is hard to know about when these are rolled and then get up to speed on how to use them. Once you do get up to speed, though, the features work great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we are solving is long-term organization of features and what we plan to work on for the next year. With this we can then share the high level plan with our development team and our business stakeholders like sales. Having the ability to create different roadmap views also makes sharing to different audiences really easy.
