Productboard has revamped how we plan and organize with our team

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of the product. We were working in multiple spreadsheets and Jira before trying to plan our backlog and sprints within each quarter. This made it difficult to give visibility for our engineering team, our CS team and leadership. Now we can quickly plan and have a nice visual of where we are headed and invite entire teams to the platform. Also, the integrations are really nice. We have this integrated with Slack and Jira and makes it easy to get ideas into Productboard and associate them with various features.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing. We've only been using this for about 2 months, but so far it's exceeded expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
single source of truth for our backlog, current sprints, and future planning. Provide visibility to other teams on where we are with our product features and where we are headed.

Amazing Product Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
It is built by folks that understand Product Management well. In other words, it is a tool made by PMs for PMs. What could go wrong, right?
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really at this point. The initial setup might be complex, depending on the structure of your team and how you use it—otherwise, all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were initially getting feedbacks and input from left, right, top and bottom. It was hard to manage them and eventually tie them back to the initial theme. With Productboard, all that becomes easier, especially their integration with Slack and Emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to streamline your product management process, all the way from the initial Discovery Phase to Delivery Phase, definitely consider Productboard. It covers the entire Product Management lifecycle, which is very convenient.

Great tool for gathering insights, showing a product roadmap, and communicating updates

What do you like best about the product?
I like the design and interface for the Portal and Roadmap (public-facing roadmap and internal-facing roadmap, respectively) The insights and features can be clearly categorized with color tags.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filter settings sometimes get stuck and it's not immediately obvious, which can make it seem like half your roadmap has disappeared sometimes. I would also like to be able to re-add portal cards that I've previously deleted in the portal itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the public-facing roadmap to gauge interest and input from customers on features and to communicate roadmap updates to customers. Not only does the Product team have a centralized repository for internal and external insights, but the rest of the company can see the requests and issues customers are facing. The rest of the company can also see how customer insights are making their way onto and influencing the roadmap.

Plethora of options and modifications creates paradox of choice and inefficient workflow

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to edit in multiple windows, lots of customization available makes it (almost too easy) to collaborate and make changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if it's just our configuration, but anyone can make edits on anyone's cards—pretty inexistent version control. Lots of "dead" cards. We have to manually ensure that each card is filled out in its entirety - there's no required fields prompt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's my organization's preferred way to collaborate on product management. Benefits is mostly for upper management to keep track of engineering weeks, set themes, and stay organized on our work. Individual benefits are not really there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
create lots of documentation for your specific needs and requirements since PB doesn't surface these.

Fantastic Product

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to use many different spaces within this product is invaluable, especially in the marketing game. Adaptability is key for any business product out there today.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maneuverability and getting to learn it can be time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has enabled my group to extend ourselves with not only multiple products but also across multiple businesses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just be sure that you have an excellent contact for customer service with your selling company.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the quick way to look at customer feedback and tie it to a problem space or specific feature so I can constantly keep a pulse on customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it wasn't so expensive. It can be pricey if you are in the higher packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Ability to have visibility to leadership on what teams are working on and what objectives those features are tied to as well as the impact to customers, value, effort and priority.

What do you like best about the product?
ProductBoard is *extremely* customizable, and the custom fields are useful! Thye can be used in sorting, roadmaps, etc... Also multiple release schedules (eg. PIs vs product releases.) Natural linking from user feedback to one or more feature requests. So much good stuff!
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't fine tuned for SAFe agile teams, but there are some pretty decent workarounds to get what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature prioritization that is tied to either user feedback or internal goals! Customizable boards to address key feature attributes in different phases (roadmap building, PI Planning, REsearch and UX, Dev, etc....)

Great roadmapping tool

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface for roadmapping and collaborating with your team. The views for each product card allows you to manage your backlog and plan for future quarters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Under the portal view, some way to better organize and sort cards that are relevant to your team versus the entire product org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with quarterly roadmap planning, able to share the roadmap with anyone on the team and prompt conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
When done right, it's the best visualization of a product roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to make a gant chart syle chart that can switch between a quarterly goals chart

Expressing our product roadmap. Everyone on our team can see what we are building and what we are going to build.

Easy to create new notes
Well crafted UI
What do you dislike about the product?
Notes are auto-created as soon as I start typing and are available to all users instantly before I could finish creating the note.

Raising tickets for new features customers ask for our SAAS software.
