A Second Brain I Didn't Know I Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion can be a task manager, calendar, record keeper, habit tracker, and the queen of databases. What Notion can do for you is only limited to your ideas and the time you're willing to put into your setup. You can start from scratch and design your own pages or duplicate other Notion users pages (many are free). If the setup or creation seems challenging, there are a plethora of tutorials, social media pages, and YouTube videos that are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is amazing, there are small things that I wish you could easily tweak that are either set or are tedious to change. For example, when I create a database I cannot change the columns to a small width (i.e. - I have a column for the numbers 1-10, but the cell size would fit 20+ characters). The second is the minimal fonts offered. You can open a separate program, write what you want in a specific font, then go back to Notion and paste it. It's a powerful system, and listens to user feedback - so I reckon these tweaks will eventually come.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has become my online Life Planner. I can track my academic course load, upload syllabi, and enter assignment due dates. I have databases for recipes, books I've read and would like to read, and my monthly bills. There is not much I haven't been able to add to my setup.
Most Complete Note/Journal Software
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is such a flexible software that it allows you to have sections for every aspect of life like keeping a journal, making a weekly agenda, schedule all your appointments, keep notes in different categories, web clips and shortcuts, save images, crm, contacts - the list is endless. Besides having available templates for multiple applications, it is fairly straightforward to create your own to fit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes creating your own template takes a little of a learning curve, but tutorials are available and once you understand how it all comes together, it's easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software has become my number one place to keep notes, clips, shortcuts etc. and keep me on schedule and record my day to day.
Great way to project manage and collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to collaborate with team members, easy drag and drop items as needed to change stages of projects and sales pipelines, and I like how you can see if someone else is online at the same time as you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how when a card or item is updated, there is no time/date stamp easily visible without clicking into the item. Sometimes I have to click into cards multiple times because I won't know if I've checked off that item or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to use Notion as a repository for projects and sales pipelines to track prospective and current customers. It's essentially serving as a CRM right now as well. We're all able to collaborate at the same time as well and I can see when a team member has last been inside the page so I know how up to date they are on the project or sales pipeline.
An application that replicates your right hand
What do you like best about the product?
There are many widgets and templates to choose from that can help you in your organizational skills for business or school. Notion, as far as I am concerned, is strongly effective as compared to it's competitors. There are a lot more features than I have seen for a website like notion, and it is very multifaceted in its use -- from the workplace to a software used to organize your personal life, it's all there.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve and it can be confusing to utilize some of the features on the application itself, but depending on what you are trying to get out of it, it might be worth it to try to learn how to use Notion so you can be more productive and organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization skills and management of different tasks- as well as scheduling and note taking. Notion has allowed me to utilize less time spent on organizing, and more time spent on doing things I actually love.
Notion is the best all-in-one all I ever used!
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can put much more than tasks in it, that you can customize it, that holds many different features and that it looks very nice. It allows you to design the functionalities as well as appearance without bombarding you with colors and options.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't successfully embed a Google Calendar and that it isn't so well adjusted for smaller screens, such as mobile phones.

Task management, Habit tracking, Content creation, Productivity app... All in one.
Game changing way to organize work
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is crazy easy to get started with and use. It helps to have a small amount of technical savviness, but even for users that don't, it's a very approachable interface.
I appreciate how organized the platform is and can help you be. As a small, growing business, it became the de facto spot for documentation, policies, and idea. I think of it as my highly organized noteboook.

Nothing really to say about dislikes, Notion can really do it all. I am excited to see Notion continue to integrate with other content sources for the ability to customize and deliver the layout you want.

Documentation needs. We really honed in on using Notion to store all of our documentation.
Very Customizable Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create the different sections of documents. Whether it be a bullet list, image, heading, or paragraph, you can quickly create these different elements all from the same place. I love how easy collaboration is, specifically that I can publish a doc and share the link with anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a good way to structure my roadmap by Vision -> Initiative->Epic->Feature and nest those items. I it would also be nice to allow people to comment on a document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to dump my ideas, discovery, designs, feedback, etc., into one organized place.

What do you like best about the product?
I know you can use Notion for basically anything but we've been using it as a sales repository and it's so helpful to track our leads, demos, conversations, and customers! I love how easy it is to add cards/views and filter as needed. My team can also join and see the same information as me and can do this in real time. I also like how I can just move cards and shift things around as our sales pipeline changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ONLY thing I wish Notion had a feature for is seeing the date of when a card was last updated. Right now, I have to manually put in a comment with a date but I wish this showed!

We're able to track our sales, collaborate with each other (and tag each other for outstanding items), in addition to being able to easily visualize what's going on weekly!
An excellent solution for managing and assigning tasks for a small team
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a great option for being able to manage tasks for a team. You can make sure you and your staff are getitng thier tasks complete on time. I also enjoy the workspaces feature. You can set a different workspace for each division within your company.
I like how you can make certian pages public to anyone outside of your comany that need to view them. Recently, we launched our product on AppSumo and we created an FAQ section in notion that we could make available to any AppSumo purchaser.

What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find certain pages hard to navigate to. My team sometimes overlaps activities with other divisions, so I sometimes forget where certain documents are located.
I wish the UX if the interface is better looking. I want more color. The functionality outweighs this, however.
I want thier to be notifications to my email that remind me that a task need to be completed. This would help for not missing any deadlines.

My team has recently set up OKR's to track individual performance. Notion is a perfect way to make sure everyone on the team is held accountable for getting their work done on time.
I sometimes get overwhelmed with the amount of work that needs to get done, and I forget about administrative things. Notion make sure that I do not forget about minor things that are easy to forget about.
