Super Flexible and Easy to Use for Project Management and CRM
What do you like best about the product?
Super flexible, yet easy to use. We use it for project management, our ATS, internal intranet (knowledge base) and CRM. Some of the new AI features have been really cool, like automatic field updating based on a text prompt (i.e. Complete this field based off the document in the column titled "CV". Input any relevant experience related to X).
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's so robust, some things aren't quite as intuitive as if I purchased an off-the-shelf CRM. But that's a trade-off I'm willing to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using Notion as an affordable yet flexible ATS tool.

Customizable and Powerful, Yet Sometimes Slow
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Notion for managing my work because of its impressive organizational capabilities, particularly when it comes to keeping my research notes and meeting notes well-arranged. The linked database feature is particularly valuable as it allows me to organize all meetings related to a project or specific topics seamlessly together. One of the standout features of Notion is its customizability, especially in setting up databases. I appreciate the ability to set up various types of views and properties, which enables me to tailor each database to meet my specific needs. Despite the initial setup time being lengthy due to the necessity of creating a personalized workspace, the customizability in designing a page that suits my workflow is amazing. This level of flexibility means I can create an organizational system that works uniquely for me, which is an outstanding aspect of Notion that I truly appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating when the database has too many entries as it causes the page to take a very long time to load. Additionally, pages with lots of images also experience slow loading times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize all my work, efficiently managing meeting and research notes with its linked database feature, which keeps everything related to a project together.

I like that Notion is a really smart way of nesting context, acting like an enhanced version of a filing cabinet with more context than other tools like Google Drive. It efficiently organizes documents and allows for richer storytelling by providing greater context, significantly aiding in bringing team members up to speed faster. I appreciate how it acts as a smart solution for organizing disjointed artifacts into a coherent structure, enhancing the ability to explain the presence and purpose of documents more effectively. I value Notion's capability for collaboration, which includes sharing early project thinking comprehensively in a format that is easily understood by engineers, designers, and the wider business. The smart structure it offers supports more in-depth storytelling and adds meaningful context, aiding in refining project ideation and bringing clarity to collective efforts. The setup was super easy, almost instant, providing access to all necessary files and folders seamlessly. I highly recommend Notion to friends and colleagues and even utilize it for personal project management and goal setting due to its outstanding organizational capabilities. Notion essentially acts as a visualization of our shared brain, aiding in collective understanding and enhanced communication on initiatives, making it a vital tool in my toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often find documents get lost within Notion because everyone structures things differently. While this is largely an organizational issue, it creates the problem of needing to frequently use the search feature to locate information. This inconsistency in how information is organized and accessed within Notion can be frustrating, even if the blame doesn’t lie entirely with the software itself.

I use Notion to share early project thinking, visualize our shared brain, refine our ideas, and enhance storytelling, bringing clarity and context to share documents effectively with engineers and designers.
Effortless Project Management with Smart AI Assistance
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the ability for the AI to "understand" what I am working with to help when needed. Notion is now my go-to software for all my PM needs.

I have been searching for a template that functions as a "quick note" or "To Do List," but I still haven't found exactly what I need.

What do you like best about the product?
I am able to create my own pages and methods of tracking information and notes without relying on the restrictions of other applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see better use of the automations. There are times where I want to minimize the amount of items I have on a page, and having something like an auto archive feature after a certain status change would be helpful. Right now I have to use filters which don’t always stay. The goal is to build a notion that can be automated.

I am able to create a better place to keep all my notes for work, and also spend downtime working on making the platform better which is fun.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integration between Notion and other tools such as Google Calendar and Gmail lacking. It is challenging to connect these platforms to effectively add or block time for preparation or completion of tasks, which would greatly enhance my workflow. Additionally, there is a need for better data synchronization between Notion and these external tools to ensure seamless transitions and updates across all platforms I use.

I use Notion to efficiently schedule calendar events, track tasks, and quickly find sales knowledge. It helps me prepare for calls using stored data and is simple to set up and use.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion incredibly valuable because it keeps everything in one place with an intuitive, user-friendly interface that makes it easy to find and organize all my tasks and information. I love how seamless the onboarding process was, allowing me to quickly learn and start using the platform efficiently. Having used Confluence before, I find Notion's usability to be far superior, as it's notably easier and more straightforward to navigate. This ease of use is a significant advantage, particularly when working in a fast-paced environment where quick access to information is crucial.

I love using Notion it's easy, fun, and a smart way to get your studying done.
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me study in a effective organized way and provides helpful information when I ask it to, it also cuts out unnecessary junk from slides leaving me with only the information I need. I use this program almost everyday, throughout the day, it is a very easy program to learn and everything you could think of to use for studying is in there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have is that it only takes files up to 20 mb but that's just a personal thing i wish it had.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't even begin to list the problems I was having before using Notion, but the program solved everything from an organized interphase to different ways of studying for all my classes. I wish I had Notion years ago but now that I have it I am never letting go.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of the platform, you can build anything, notes, tasks, databases, project management. You can create what fits you. It has replaced many of our tools at the business I work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside I would say is there is a lot to learn when you first get started in there.

A big problem it solves is keeping information all in one place. So instead of using multiple tools Notion became our knowledge base, documentation hub, task manager, project tracker, team dashboard and much more.
