Powerful collaboration tool for product development teams
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a LOT of features and makes sharing content across my team and other folks at my company easy. There are many different formats to choose from, depending on the type of content you need to create.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX can be frustrating sometimes. When I'm trying to edit a document that I or someone else has created, it's not as smooth or intuitive as working with a Microsoft Office or Google Workspace product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a product management team. We use Notion for documenting customer research, writing and sharing PRDs, creating "homepages" for new functionality that we've created, and onboarding for new employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion is a freemium product, so you can easily try before you buy.
Simple knowledge database
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple UI, giving you the ability to build a massive database for an entire team and able to update it as the days go. Very easy to use and accessible to anyone without installing anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really no downside to using Notion. It's miles better than using a shared Google Drive for Knowledge Database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating unecessary Google Drive or other cloud storage option for our documents, that everyone should have access to.
A robust task organizational tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how there are different genres of tasks that notion organizes for you right off the bat. There are many ways to sort and organize your tasks, journals, or notes. I really like to use it to keep track of budgeting, home, and work tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI is a little overwhelming. I wish there were clearer ways to find/sort templates or tools for specific tasks, i.e. prompt the user with things like "what are you trying to accomplish?" "do you need a chart for this task?" so that there is a more organic way to figure out what of the many templates works best for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I put all of my personal and work tasks in Notion, previously using the Apple notes app. I prefer productivity tools that are incredibly open ended because I think one opportunity cost of time spent organizing tasks/time spent doing tasks involves how much time it takes to organize your tasks and update them daily or weekly.
One place for all the documentation, planning, sharing with a team
What do you like best about the product?
Interface- visually appealing, intuitive, functionality allows me to add and edit any kind of documentation- tasks, plain documents, kanban boards. I can keep them private of share them with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The copy/paste functionality when it comes to copy text with links. For example, I same my email templates on Notion, but when I copy it and paste into an email, it appears as example@mail.com , which constantly requires editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place for saving my work documentation, planning, to-do lists, schedules- both for private use, and sharing with team/clients. Easy to create, access, share, edit, add collaborators.

Notion: decent wiki, needs task management improvements

Not as intuitive as one would like. Task management is weak (for example, can't create subtasks or assign to multiple individuals)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-functional wiki and procedure repository. More folks are able to find what they need quickly, moving away from Google docs
Customer Success Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I like to share notes and workflow in Notion. You can also share it with a college or friend who can edit the files as well. So I use with a college to share Blog posts for our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about, it is more likely your daily note-book to write things and share ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We share our writings through Notion, so we can see what blog post will be the next, we can edit, leave a comment as a quick note. We can also create task list to see what we need to check first.

Amazing tool for organizing your life
What do you like best about the product?
Customization options are limitless. You can create pages and links inside every section, or you can embed links and create plans for almost everything. If you want to organize your work and life, you should use Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complicated sometimes; you need to read some guides to get the best benefit from the application. If you can successfully complete tutorials, it will get easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, I am working in a newly transformed company from Start-up so; I need to track my workload (creating to-do lists, information, feedbacks). Second, I am getting some online courses, so it is helpful for notetaking and embedding some links. Third, I use it for my personal errands like shopping lists and travel plans so, I am not missing anything in my life.
The best tool for taking notes and preparing reports
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Notion as my primary note-taking platform, and I also use it for a lot of documentation and project tracking, among other things. It has a very clean user interface that is easy to navigate throughout the platform. Integrates with all essential productivity tools and files that allow data to be imported from other sources such as excel, csv, and Evernote. It also has a lot of customization options, so I can make my workspace to suit my needs. They do, however, have a large number of pre-made templates that can be used immediately and edited. Working with my team on the same project and sharing files, ideas, and more has been faster and easier with Notion. The customer service team at Notion is highly responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything to complain about or dislike. However, there are some things that Notion should look into and update or fix, such as some of my teammates complaining about their security system because they don't use end-to-end encryption, and I've seen people storing a lot of sensitive data, such as health data, banking information, and more, which can be concerning. Apart from that, we have no issues with the notion; it works flawlessly across all of our devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with product development, marketing strategy, personal CRM, customer interviews, and writing requirements for the development team. In addition, I keep track of and update information about my team and activities. Since I began using it, it has proven to be an excellent companion. I don't have to go to other platforms to store CRM data or make lists because Notion takes care of everything. On Notion, team collaboration is fantastic.
