All-in-one digital planner, organizer, and creation space
What do you like best about the product?
I love the UI of this particular app, helping make pages fun + integrating some of my favorite web/HTML-style features into what feels like a very large notepad.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that everything lives on Notion - it's been challenging in the past to copy things from Notion to other platforms (e.g. calendar / Google Keep).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General self-organization, goal setting, habit tracking, and notepad

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a ton of flexibility and is easy to learn, but there's so much that you can create and organize for pretty much any type of use case. The interface is really easy to navigate and the templates are top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things don't sync right away. A few times, we've had notes not saved because they don't sync correctly, and the app will crash or something. It's infrequent, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool has been integral for sharing notes and organizing project notes and requirements between several teams. The ease of use between the desktop and mobile app makes it a convenient place to keep all of this.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is incredibly versatile - from individual notetaking to team collaboration across databases and project management at scale, Notion can be adapted to the needs of your team. Notion takes the best of cloud-based collaborative document writing and builds around it a suite of tools allowing for a vast array of applications. For me the most impressive aspect is how simply they are able to keep the interface while allowing for an ever-expanding list of options such as databases, kanban, and other project management tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really very little to dislike, especially given the rate at which Notion's developers have been turning out improvements, fixes, and updates. I would prefer a bit cleaner login/credentialing across devices as I will be logged out from time to time, but this is a minor frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion equips my collaboration within and across teams at my institution, and i personally use it to manage the Center I direct. This allows me to handle all project management, external sharing of resources, and collaborative document creation. It is the closest thing i've ever come across to a one-stop solution.
Great for sharing project updates and for making simple landing pages.
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use. There is so much flexibility setting up pages. It is easy to make things look really nice. Managing permissions is a breeze too. I like how you can make different views of the same dataset.

What do you dislike about the product?
The database functionality just doesn't feel great. In conjunction with Notion I use Airtable for a lot of things. The database features of Notion just feel clunky compared to Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most landing pages. Whenever I have a situation where I need to get data to a cohort of people I will setup a page for just that cohort. The simplicity of Notion allows me to handle all the details without needing to involve our web folks.

What do you like best about the product?
It's su[er flexible and seems to really be able to do the job of a bunch of different tools. Not only does it serve as a database but can work as a project management tool, as a complex business process automation solution, and a lot more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is pretty steep. It is very slow compared to more simple tools. If I need to write something down it's way easier to open a new google doc. Formating is not too intuitive at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use at as a database and to create simple PM tools for the small teams, essentially instead of Trello. We became way more productive and we'll be even more so when the whole team become adapted to the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You'll be able to get immense benefits out of it but don't fool yourself that proficiency would come naturally. Invest in training.

You can click on "articles and files" and you will have access to all the documents on specific subjects. Really helpful for startups!

It can sometimes be confusing because the order is; however, the user posts and can be confusing when creating threads with info.

ask the company, what the order of the information, should be, and what needs to be added or changed so you can get updated information.
Super powerful, yet lightweight productivity booster
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's UX. It's a super lightweight interface, but the amount of things you can do with Notion is limitless. I use it for both work (content, CRM, databases) and personal life (journaling, tracking, task management).

If I have to think of something, I would probably say the number of templates. Other than that, it's perfect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing various types of content and creating smart links between pages/DBs. It helped me store so much important information in an easy-to-find way and keep it dynamically updated.
Notion makes writing documentation a bit more enjoyable
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer I often need to write internal documentation. Having used many similar tools in the past (Confluence, Gitbooks, Google Sites, MS Teams Wiki) I find Notion the winner in terms of ease of use and productivity. I really like their "/" functionality to easily insert content, access integrations or adding new blocks and this really helps almost not having to use the mouse or learn custom shortcuts.
It feels like a lightweight and simple tool which comes without the baggage than the older players but on the other hand is quite powerful and feature-rich which is refreshing.
Being able to use emojis to prefix each page and also the overall way to organize the articles makes them neatly sorted and easy to find.
I also like that selective pages can be made public and a URL generated, meaning it can also serve as a (basic) public documentation tool, job board, etc. This might not be the best usage of Notion especially on bigger teams but for small startups it's a nice feature to have available if needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its search functionality is not the most powerful. I find the "Quick Find" dialog a bit limited when finding results as well as the provided filters, and also, I haven't found a way to integrate this with the browser "Search Engines" so I could quickly type the search query in the search bar for quicker searches.
Also, their integrations are not as smooth as some of the more established players. Especially with issue tracking tools, but I believe this is coming down the pipe and they also have an integrations API in Beta so we may explore this at some point.

Love the integratation. Big fan of the concept of blocks/hierarchy in note taking.

Price is a bit high, but it does a lot and they don't manage your storage at least.

Following are some of the reasons that hinder my experience of using Notion:
1. Not very convenient to edit and write code snippets.

The main problem that we are trying to solve with the help of Notion is project management and collaboration among different teams. Notion has proved to be of great utility in this regard.
