Easy to See Everything in Motion
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely flexible. It's easy to see exactly what's going on at each stage of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar won't export to Google calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Editorial scheduling, organization, and assignments. Notion helps us stay in touch and allows us to easily pass projects to the next person/stage in the chain.
I am OBSESSED!!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion allows us to organize our content, plan projects, and collaborate cross-functionally in ways we never thought possible. The time to value for this tool was nearly immediate - we have been able to conquer so many use cases across our GTM teams in such a short time after launching. I receive daily pings now unsolicited from users about how much they love this app.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have more enablement and templates organized by use case vs. having to hunt for the right training content. Overall, the training resources are very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion for a variety of use cases, including project management, cross-functional collaboration, content management, workflow automation, and process documentation.
Excellent tool for all aspects of your business
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of Notion is amazing, the uses are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few occasions where it has been glitchy, but nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us Notion is solving our day to day organisation.
I love Notion and its flexibility, i manage the whole company through it.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to build systems within systems using related databases to work with multiple teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process for new employees, the amazing flexbility add complexity to first time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making a one stop solution for our knowledge database, a in-house CRM and aligning the whole organization through one system.
Amazing product, but expensive enterprise plan
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Notion is the User Experience and User Interface. It is super easy to collaborate in real-time with your colleagues, while at the same time supporting a large number of data types.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that the enterprise plan is required for single sign-on and user provisioning. In our opinion, 20 dollars per user is quite the licence fee. We have low margins and can't afford another 20 dollars on top of all the other licence fees a company nowadays require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion acts as a wiki, documentation platform, a company handbook and an intranet (blogs, employee profile: list of all the people that work for us and a personal message), a lot of people use it as a note-taking app.
Notion is a very flexible and powerful tool for organizing knowledge.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion shines on allowing their users to arrange and display data the way their business case warrants — instead of having to fit around an intended use case like most competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no Linux desktop version, and the mobile app is resource-heavy: not suitable for older devices. Additionally, the learning curve can be intimidating for less proficient users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allowed us to centralize both our internal knowledge, project management and issue tracker in a single place. This reduced friction for our employees and allowed us to deliver quicker results.
Amazing tool for both business & personal life
What do you like best about the product?
Adaptability -- can be used for limitless case scenarios
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting flexibility -- it would be great to have more formatting features, and to be able to set default formatting (e.g. small text & full width by default)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The risk/habit of multiple sources of information in multiple different places -- now all centralised in Notion, with links to external locations
An amazing platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for my personal and professional life. It's very versatile and easy to use. I use the tables and set different views when needed. I also love being able to connect different apps and synchronize them with Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little getting use to at first, but we get use to it very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps so much with organisation. Notions allows me to have everything in one same place. It's amazing that I can synchronize different apps with Notion and have my info all on Notion.
Great knowledge management and process centralization tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly and intuitive especially for users coming over from another comparable product. I like how easily content can be added, rearranged, moved from page to page, and formatted. Page cover images, emoji icons, and a simplified UI are all perks that can be leveraged to make otherwise boring pages stand out and more engaging for employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're a part of a smaller org that utilizes Notion, there is no implementation process so you have to figure it out as you go. This leads to misuse and mismanagement of the platform and the content within it. There are so many pages that employees have to fumble through and the search function isn't the greatest compared to other similar platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's our (only) central storage of all org-related knowledge, processes, onboarding checklists, etc...if something needs to be permanently housed for long-term use/reference, Notion is where our org puts it. Not the best solution, but an easy one to use at least.
Using Notion has helped me put a structure around thoughts
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it is easy to use and I can collaborate with my team without the need for emails or any separate communication. The fact that i caninsert tables etc to give the document a structure is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think notion is an acquired taste as it took some time for me to muscle through the initial phase of usage. Maybe the onboarding could have been a bit more friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
