Killing it with concolodation

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion is allowing me to reduce the number of tools I use while additionally allowing me to more easily cross-reference data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels a little dated to me but I haven't fully explored the possibilities of customizing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything in one place. I'm trying to get as close to "one source of truth" as possible and so far Notion is it.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is incredibly powerful to adapt to the different ways you wish to document and share information. The ability to connect notes and information to other information provides a rich context for your notes, wiki, directory, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
With that flexibility, there can be an investment in time to get everything set up to achieve the full efficiency that Notion can provide in your productivity workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I capture everything in Notion. Tasks, notes, receipts, sketches, articles - anything that I need to potentially recall or reference later. Notion's true strength is in the databases. Capturing information in a database allows me to associate data with other data which provides the ability to present and consume data in a variety of ways. For example, I can organize the same data in a traditional table format, a card format as a timeline, a list or a kanban and easily have all views saved, and sorted depending on the way I need to share or reference.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborate in real time on documentation and see edits live

Easily drag and drop sections to reorder content

Great visual theme and site mechanics

Works with Google SSO
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing for larger teams may be off-putting (but it's worth it for our business)

Needs better integration with other business tools (e.g. JIRA, Github)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all our documentation in one place and easily editable by our team

Low maintenance, it just works

Great tool in progress

What do you like best about the product?
I like its design, it is super clean and clear.
It feels modern and provides a good experience to use (adding images, tables etc is super easy).
I like the flexibility to move the items in the layout, and the breadcrumbs that help navigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are some bits that could still be improved.
I faced issues when working with tables (app completely frozen when copy pasting items).
I like the favourite section, but maybe it would be nice to have some more ways of saving pages (maybe folders inside favorites?) to keep the pages that you use the most more organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping us to keep company information organized and accessible.
It helps us with documentation as well as it is pretty easy to collaborate and make modifications.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexible nature of Notion makes it a great tool for our diverse team within the company. We use it for internal documentation, product roadmaps, and office information - and we can rely on the fact that everything is in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility of Notion is sometimes a problem as well. It'd be great if they offered a bit more built-in structure you can optionally rely on to make sure things are organised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacing many different tools and sources of information, so employees don't have to worry where they should. The only thing is knowing where to look within Notion.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that multiple users can use Notion and work on the same document at the same time seeing changes in real-time. I like that you can design nice documents only with your keyboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be happy if there was an option to change the color and size and font of headings and other elements so that it matches our corporate identity. Also, I once had an issue where a deleted,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is allowing us to document all our internal and client meetings and keep them safe and easily accessible for everyone. Also it ensures that there are not two versions of the same document.

The best tool to organize work logs

  • July 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best point of Notion is that in which I can organize various materials (text, pdf, code etc.) in one service by utilizing various databases.
For example, I record daily logs by a calendar, discussion logs by lists, and photos by a gallery.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service will be more valuable for me if it can provide a preview for MS Office files (.docx and .pptx) as it does so for pdfs and pictures.
In addition, as an importation tool of websites, Evernote is much better... designs of websites are corrupted when saved by Notion web importer tool.
I heavily use a web importer to save websites with tags ('Books to buy', 'Place to go', 'Must read' etc.) and it will be helpful if Notion web importer become better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connection of database is a great idea.
I connect a Daily log database in which I keep records of what I do in a day and a Student database in which I records who they are.
When I discussed with a student, I write discussion records in a Daily log database and linked the daily-log page with the student page so that I can track the discussion log by a student page.
