What do you like best about the product?
Notion helps keep me organized and stay on track along with making it easy to share updates with my entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application runs slowly and uses a significant amount of CPU, which causes my computer to lag. Because of this, I prefer to use the web-based version instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and keeping on task are essential aspects for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion serves as the central database for everything, making it our natural go-to platform. It's incredibly convenient to find anything you're looking for, as everything we might need is always readily available in Notion. Additionally, I really appreciate the AI features that have been added; they help me find answers about services that I don't typically engage with. The initial setup of Notion was pretty straightforward, which facilitated a smooth transition for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion to be slow, which affects my productivity. Additionally, it is not a native app, which means it uses Electron technology. This approach makes the application feel less smooth and more clunky compared to what I would expect from a native app experience. I prefer a more seamless and integrated feel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize all our important information in one place, making it our central knowledge database. The AI features help us easily find answers about less familiar services, enhancing productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's ability to create and edit documents easily without needing to learn about all the options; It's very intuitive. The integration of Notion AI into the process is a standout feature for me, as I can simply tell it what I want, making document creation and managing tasks a breeze. I appreciate how it simplifies organizational tasks, allowing me to focus on tasks that actually move the needle rather than spending time setting up my own systems. It makes the organizational process straightforward and efficient, which enhances my productivity significantly. I also find the initial setup of Notion to be exceptionally easy, which means I could start using it right away. Overall, Notion's user-friendly interface and AI capabilities remove the complexities from organizing my work and marketing content, crafting an efficient workflow that I highly value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Notion AI doesn't fully understand what I want, and there isn't an easy way to iterate or refine requests. It's excellent at one-shot prompting, but when something requires refinement, it becomes challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep my work organized, manage my marketing content calendar and perform copy editing, making the organization super straightforward and allowing me to focus on impactful tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion to be incredibly helpful for project management and customer record maintenance at my company, printIQ. It fills in the gaps left by other tools like Zoho Projects, providing a better user experience, especially with customer-facing access. I particularly enjoy the meeting notes transcription feature, which is amazing, and the new AI search capabilities that make finding information across various sources seamless. The database/table view structure is another standout feature, allowing me to customize columns for specific information or tags, enhancing the organizational aspect. I also appreciate the collaboration functionalities that enable notebook sharing with multiple users, fostering teamwork and efficient communication. Setting up Notion was very simple and easy for my team, making the transition smooth, and I am highly likely to recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the desktop app to be quite heavy on performance, which can impact its efficiency and responsiveness. Streamlining it to improve memory usage would be beneficial. Additionally, there's a need for more integrations with other platforms, particularly with Office365 and Microsoft Outlook for better email management. Also, I have a desire to connect an external AI agent through MCP, but currently, the only option available is Claude, which I am not interested in using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion fills gaps in our project management tool, improving information tracking and enhancing customer interaction. Its AI features and collaboration capabilities further streamline our workflow, making information management seamless and productive.

One of the major benefits is the full flexibility it offers, enabling me to create my own workspaces, which saves me the effort of sourcing other productivity tools. I appreciate that I can add sections for various tasks, like blog articles or pictures, and create custom databases with ease. Notion's simplicity and its clean, straightforward UI stand out to me. It's designed in such a minimalist way that it doesn’t overwhelm me while still providing powerful functionality through various building blocks. Transitioning from using Slab, Notion has become the industry standard in my team for organizing and maintaining documentation, allowing for systematic data handling and organization. What I enjoy most is its user-friendly setup, especially since I've been using Notion for several years. I commend its simple, yet robust design and centralization capabilities, which have made using it an integral part of my daily routine. It's perfect for me, with no issues encountered, and I would highly recommend it to others.

I love the ability to build whatever I need using the blocks and databases. Once I figured out how to best use Notion's databases and organize my company's data, the AI and automations became incredibly powerful tools. I'm able to track all of my projects, tasks, meetings, notes, customers, vendors, and properties seamlessly within Notion. This consolidation of all business aspects in one place, as opposed to having disparate files and documents across different platforms like Google Drive or separate spreadsheets, has been a game-changer. Notion allows me to keep all my information up-to-date with a single source of truth that I can trust, thus eliminating worries about file versions or updates. I can even embed or link to external files or software when needed, making data accessibility effortless. Integrating Notion with ChatGPT, Gmail, and Google Docs helps in streamlining my business operations. Overall, Notion has truly become the primary operating system for my business, enabling me to stay organized and efficient.

I found it challenging initially to learn how to effectively use Notion, particularly the databases and their functionalities. Unlocking the power of these databases and automations took some time before everything really clicked.

It's fairly easy to use and navigate internally.

It can become very noisy with too many pages and the search not being very easy to find the pages you need.

Flexible and Well-Designed, But Needs More Features for Advanced Use

I think the design of Notion is really great, providing a visually appealing and user-friendly experience that enhances my work efficiency. Its design makes the platform enjoyable to use and easy to navigate, contributing to a better user experience overall. Additionally, I think it's pretty flexible, which allows me to adapt it to suit my specific needs and preferences in managing projects and taking notes. This flexibility helps me stay organized by keeping track of action items, issues, broader work plans, hiring and firing tables, and general notes, effectively using Notion as an operating system or cockpit for managing my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Notion is flexible, it often does not meet my expectations for flexibility. I find myself unable to accomplish certain tasks, such as building a table within another table. Additionally, I am unable to connect the AI meeting node features to my tables to report on meetings. The current AI features are not as advanced as I would like; they lack the ability to execute tasks in an agentic format based on recommendations. Additionally, tying information between tables or utilizing layouts other than the standard data table format is cumbersome. Lastly, I desire more visual creation abilities, such as a wireframe structure, to enhance usability.

AI Note Taking Makes Meetings Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
The AI note taking feature is definitely helpful for keeping track of the ideas discussed during the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's another application I need to have open. I feel like I have too many applications that I am running. I wish there was a way to do the note taking without needing to remember to open the app.

It keeps track of the concepts in meetings in case I miss something.
