A Versatile Tool for Note-Taking and Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that once Notion is set up, it's easy to use and consistent in outputs. I also appreciate the connections between content, allowing me to track ideas and activities from meetings and discussions through to execution. It's great for keeping up with notes from client conversations and remembering details for my action items. My task list in Notion makes it easy to see what is due, when and where it was discussed, and who with, plus I can link back to meeting transcripts if I need more details. Notion becomes more useful the more I use it, unlike other tools I tried that became cumbersome.
What do you dislike about the product?
It definitely took me a while to get what I needed set up and running and took a lot of trial and error. Not that easy. I tried to use multiple templates but in the end developing my own boring to look at but functions exactly as I need has worked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was struggling with maintaining good notes and remembering task details. Notion lets me track action items, due dates, and discussion details, linking back to transcripts if needed. It streamlines my workflow by summarizing meetings into a format I set up.
Versatile and User-Friendly, Perfect for Freelancers
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can create documents within Notion and have it auto-filter and share different information across different pages. I like that I can link it to my work team so they can see it on my end. Our business actually converted to Notion, which is really cool, and my former client also converted their entire business to Notion. I think it's an amazing platform. What I like most about Notion, I think, is the user-friendliness and how easy it was to learn. And also, the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have difficulty creating databases in Notion. I feel like some of the processes could be more streamlined. I've had to reach out to others to learn how to automate certain functions within Notion. I wish there were more tutorial guides within Notion so I don't have to go to a third-party website. An AI assistant chatbot within Notion to quickly ask questions would be really cool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me solve disorganization problems. I like creating documents, auto filtering, and sharing information across pages. It organizes my work and personal content, and links my team to shared resources.
Great UI and Non-Intrusive Recording, But Takes Time to Learn
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is excellent once you become familiar with it, and I appreciate that the meeting recording feature is unobtrusive. Integrating it into my workflow was also very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface was a bit confusing to learn at first, especially since I had never used this software or anything similar before. So far, I haven't needed to contact customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool offers a discreet solution for recording my sales meetings, and it's also useful for taking general notes.

Centralized Business Hub with Smooth Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's ease of integrating with other platforms. It's been great to connect it with tools like Slack and Make.com, and directly with Claude, which helps build larger team spaces. The Notion AI is fantastic for refining those spaces, especially for project and database management at the project level. Creating properties, columns, and relationships within a database is incredibly easy, and I love that I can present different views for my wife and me, like one of us preferring visual elements while the other prefers lists, details, or charts. It’s super helpful to gather everything in one place and have data interconnected in a way that is useful and makes sense. The near real-time AI support is a bonus, especially since we're not tech-driven. Having AI support simplifies things, making it easier to figure out what we need without tech expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found part of the onboarding experience challenging because it's new for me. Although there are a lot of templates, getting used to the setup and look of Notion was a bit tough. I would love some parts that are more like no-code, drag-and-drop, to make it user-friendly, especially for team members who are less experienced. I also started with the free version, and I think using Notion AI support would have been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me manage multiple businesses by organising everything in one place. It aids in project tracking, keeping oversight of tasks, and integrating financial data. The AI support enhances productivity and facilitates integration with other software.
Effortless Collaboration with Easy Document Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion easy to use, which is great for my work tasks. The ability to share documents enhances collaboration significantly. I also appreciate using Pages for organizing information effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find transferring information to and from Microsoft Office or Google Office challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes collaboration easier, especially for sharing documents. It's also easy to use, and I value Pages for organizing information well.
Versatile, Collaborative, but Requires a Learning Curve and Pricing is Steep
What do you like best about the product?
I think the UI is really great, and I really like the new AI feature. I like all the ways that you can create visuals. I like that you can make it really collaborative and be really creative with the UI to personalize it. There's a lot you can do with Notion, and I'm excited to see what new features develop over time. I integrate Notion with a lot of different tools like Slack and Google Drive, and it's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a little bit confusing to navigate through different pages and locate things, which is why I do like the AI feature. However, it can be a bit complicated. To have so many different options and not a clear path. You really have to do your own research to figure out the best way to use Notion. I think some of the views, like Kanban and table, can also get a little bit confusing. So, like, the property settings can be a bit much. Additionally the pricing tiers don’t make a lot of sense and it’s pretty expensive. They aren’t really great on customer service when it comes to pricing either and regardless of any issues that are actually something they can resolve they don’t make any accommodations. I do like the options to add guests rather than members, but that’s also very confusing and if you don’t do it correctly you’ll end up paying. Notion is unforgiving and won’t refund you if this happens, even if those members never even touched the product. It’s quite frustrating and feels like theft.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me track and organize various projects like finance, project management, and daily life, making things easier to manage in both personal and business activities.
Fantastic for Organizing Notes and Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to categorise notes, thoughts and tasks. I like all the different templates available. I also love the new meeting transcription feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it hard to work out what the best template is best for what I am trying to do
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps me on track. Where I used to use my notes app or a Google doc to track meeting notes and tasks, this allows me to view my deadlines and prioritise tasks.
Excellent Collaboration Tool That Boosts Team Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
generally great tool for workspace collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
need better notifcation settings eg when tagged or not, can be a bit janky when trying to format pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Truly Customizable and a one stop shop
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable it is. Anything you want to build or create is possible in notion. Its great for both personal and professional use, and truly a platform that is art of the possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the learning curve I think - it takes a second to understand, architecturally, relational databases, how to build specific things, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
not only is notion a knowledge base for our tasks and files we create, but we have also switched to notion calendar and meeting notetaker, making it a true one stop shop for finding and storing information in a simple, efficient, and structured way.
