An amazing knowledge management tool with an AI writing assistant!

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Capturing departmental knowledge in one place while searching using Notion AI is convenient and powerful. This search tool makes finding answers to questions through our knowledge base super easy and quick.

Also, using Notion as a knowledge management tool is so convenient because I can use the AI writing assistant features, such as making paragraphs shorter or longer, changing the tone, or even brainstorming ideas, all in one place. I don't need to switch to multiple apps to do this!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing to dislike! It would be great if the features when using charts, graphs, and data could be even better, but it still works great now!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We generally need to use different apps for different purposes but Notion makes writing, capturing knowledge, capturing meeting minutes, organizing knowledge and searching for answers so easy all in one place!

Notion is flexible easy to understand and has a lot of room to grow in

What do you like best about the product?
I like that notion is easy to understand and flexible for any situation it can go from a simple task list to a very complex multi database power house. Makes it easy to introduce notion to new users and up skill pro users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get complex and there are some easy things you should be able to do that are way too complicated since they don’t have bespoke solution for. Since it’s trying to be everything it doesn’t do one thing perfectly and you seem to hit this wall everytime you plan a new space. Also when you have multiple accounts it’s a nightmare to try and use them at the same time specially if there are linked and share information it can get really confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has taken my 5 project manage software workflow into just one. It’s great to know that all my information is in one place that’s notions greatest strength sometimes its greatest weakness. It’s like having all your stuff in one room in your house great because you know everything is in that room but very hard to find at times

I feel like a software developer developing ops systems for my life

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most useful tools is just the sheer capacity of information that can be stored within it. Not hitting limits all the time and having to upgrade. This makes the AI tools for search invaluable because it feels like I’m searching my entire brain
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish styling there was a few more options. It’s never the end of the world and I love notions look generally. But the ability to choose different fonts or backgrounds colours for pages or even themes would be great. Especially for when publishing websites
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to feel like my brain was split across a million tabs, ideas in my Notes app, tasks in a planner, random links in my messages, and then trying to actually do anything felt overwhelming. I’d forget what I was working on, lose track of ideas, and waste hours just figuring out where to start again.

Notion basically became my brain outside my brain. Everything lives in one place, my plans, ideas, content, goals, and the AI helps me turn messy thoughts into something clear really quickly. It’s like having a system that actually thinks with me, abit like a co founder of my life!

I also love the AI writing tools within the databases, means I can rapid test ideas without overthinking.

I’m not constantly switching tools or overthinking everything anymore. I can just open Notion and get in flow. It makes me feel way more on top of things and way more capable. It’s literally the first app I open in the morning, and the last app I close at night.

An essential tool with a few limitations

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes it really easy to organise all kinds of information in one place, whether that's notes, project plans, checklists, or databases. I like how flexible it is, as you can structure things however you want, for both personal use and team collaboration. It looks clean and is simple to use once you get the hang of it. The ability to link between pages and build dashboards is especially useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting options can feel quite limited, e.g. there’s no way to align text or customise layouts beyond the basic column structure, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to create something visually polished. Reporting is also a bit of a weak spot; you can build views and filters, but getting meaningful insights out of databases takes more effort than it should. That said, the integrations Notion has been rolling out recently seem to be heading in the right direction, so I’m hopeful this will improve over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we needed to solve is centralising our project management across all departments. Doing this then laid the foundation for using Notion AI, so all team members can search and ask AI queries across the entire company knowledge base.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a flexible tool that helps me organize my thoughts, tasks, and projects. I can take notes, create databases, manage to-do lists, and plan projects all in one place.

The user interface is clean and easy to use. I like the drag-and-drop feature and the ability to embed videos and images into my pages.

Notion is essential for my daily routine. Its flexibility and features make it a standout choice for anyone looking for a customizable workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance can lag when working with larger databases or more complex pages, which can be frustrating during tasks that require efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep all my notes and ideas in one place. It makes organizing my information easy. I can create different content types, from simple notes to databases. I sort my ideas by project, topic, or importance to find what I need quickly. I also link pages together, allowing me to see how ideas connect. For each project, I can include all related notes, tasks, and resources in one spot. Notion has simplified how I store and manage information, giving me peace of mind and boosting my productivity.

Favourite documentation/knowledge management tool!

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been a user of Notion since 2019, turning to it for documentation purposes initially. I use it almost everyday now personally and professionally, especially appreciating its AI writing assistant and flexible capabilities as a tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - it’s incredibly useful all round.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion acts as my workplace’s central knowledge repository. As a remote company, it’s crucial we have a hub that is accessible and with easy to find knowledge by all. I also often write reports in my role, and Notion’s AI writing assistant is a great sidekick that offers me useful suggestions and corrections which speed up my delivery time.

Notion changed my life

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s not only a productivity tool, it’s a place to organize notes and create content. I recently created a website that’s been recognized in my university and Notion is seriously being looked at as a platform to be used in several classes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the blocks were a little more customizable for power users and that the colors were accessible. Many of them don’t pass WCAG standard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize multiple things like my student organization and my own personal work, which will some day culminate into a masters degree.

Excellent tool to organize information

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our department manages a large amount of information stored across multiple platforms. It has been challenging to maintain consistency, streamline workflows, and ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need. We've been actively searching for a centralized solution that meets all our needs: user-friendly, visually appealing, multifunctional, and sustainable for long-term use. Time and again, we find ourselves returning to Notion. Its intuitive interface, clean and customizable design, and flexibility to adapt to our evolving needs make it stand out. It has proven to be the one platform that consistently checks all our boxes, making it the ideal choice for our department's long-term information management strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the most challenging aspects of using Notion is the initial learning curve. It requires an upfront investment of time and effort to understand how the platform works and how to best tailor it to your needs. For many on my team, the vast array of features and customization options felt overwhelming at first. However, once they took the time to explore its capabilities and move past that initial hurdle, the experience became much more intuitive and rewarding. With a bit of practice, everything starts to click. In short, the learning curve is real, but it's well worth the effort. Once you're over that first step, everything else flows naturally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our department has been actively searching for a centralized platform to store and manage all of our knowledge, resources, and documentation in one accessible place. With information previously spread across various tools and locations, it became clear that we needed a more streamlined and organized solution. Notion has been instrumental in helping us build out that centralized hub. Its flexibility allows us to create customized pages for everything from standard operating procedures and project plans to meeting notes and team resources. As we continue to build and refine our space, Notion has proven to be a powerful tool in bringing our knowledge together in a way that’s both structured and easy to navigate.

One of the best productivity tools on the PLANET

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I spent years looking for the ONE tool that could be my "second brain". I went from using pen and paper to using 13 different applications, to using just Notion. I wanted one centralized place to manage notes, tasks, projects, goals, taily tracking, feedback, client meetings, ect and Notion fits the bill. Notion is simple and easy to use, there are dozens of free or cheap templates to suit their needs, and I use it every single day. The customer support is east to access and helpful, and I have virtually no complaints. On top of that, Notion AI makes it simple and easy to analyze my data and find things, and makes it easy for my team to do the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have virtually zero complaints. Once in a while there is some clunkiness (usually user error) and I also wish there was a way to use specific areas without internet access, but otherwise zero complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps everything in all areas of my life and business in one place in an easy to access, search, and use fashion
