My go-to workspace for everything work-related
What do you like best about the product?
It's a one stop shop for my brain. feel free to steal this quip.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming when you try to build something with formulas, relations, roll ups. Sometimes i know exactly what would help me run my finances or life and building in Notion can be hard. I would spend so much time fine tuning and trying to build automations and get fatigued and give up on a page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has become my central workspace for managing projects and client work. the biggest problem it solves is information fragmentation, instead of having notes scattered across different apps, emails, and documents, everything lives in one place where I can actually find it.
Distinctive Design, But Needs Better Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's design and ease of use as it provides a great balance of power and simplicity. I also really appreciate your addition of Email and Calendar, which are so much better than Google, and the consistent design across these features. It helps me track all the things I need to do in a robust manner with a nice, clear interface. It's been beneficial for tracking my staff and their roles, and I see potential for further growth in its use and function. I have recommended Notion frequently because of these features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really need apps for all three programs: Notion, Calendar, and Email. I'm just diving into the use of the database, data reports, views, etc. It's been a learning curve. Not bad, but could be better. For example, creating pivot table-like reports for data was too hard to do and I had to go to Google Sheets to run a basic summary form. Not ideal. Cost is a barrier and usability for low tech folks is also a concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to track tasks and staff performance effectively with a clear interface. It offers growth potential in its use and functionality.
Flexible and Standalone—Perfect for All My Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible it is to meet all of my needs. I also love that its a standalone application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though there are 1000s of templates, I wish Notion put out more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a central repository of tasks, knowledge projects, etc.
Notion: Powerful, Yet Challenging to Master
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Notion helps us keep everything organized despite being a more complex platform. Notion AI has been incredibly helpful in organizing our workflows and pulling together data and documents from different platforms like Google Drive and Slack. It's just able to bring resources from all different places into one spot, which saves me so much time. I also love that it can build out databases for us, and Notion AI has helped me learn a lot about working with Notion, even as a newer user. I especially love the Notion transcripts; they are handy for creating LinkedIn content because I can take a full transcript, put it into AI, and have my LinkedIn content calendar populated. Bringing everything together in one platform makes things less chaotic and more streamlined for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know. I just like that view better than the database table. And I think that's one thing with Notion that I struggle with, also exporting to PDFs. I feel like it's not as easy to download a PDF and it also never has a file name. And as someone who works with GPT and Gemini and Perplexity a lot, I feel like I like to download those documents as PDFs and upload them, and it it's just an extra step when they download from Notion because it's not a file name, and it's doesn't the exporting system just isn't as easy as, like, Google Docs would be. I wouldn't say it was easy. On a scale of one to 10, I'd probably say six or seven. It was it's been a challenge to shift to Notion for sure. Notion's not the easiest platform to use. It also just has a lot of bells and whistles that you can dive into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion saves me time by integrating Google Drive, Slack, and databases, pulling resources into one spot. It helps organize workflows and create content easily. Notion AI has been invaluable for organizing data and building databases.
Customizable Workspace with AI-Powered Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is more than just an AI capable project management assistant for construction management; it really goes much further. It's awesome how customizable it is, allowing me to tailor it to different needs. I appreciate that it's a workspace that integrates with AI to act and review data quickly and systematically. Additionally, the initial setup was easy because of the lots of templates available. And using Notion has been part of broadening my professional skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of yet but it's still new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for AI writing assistance, knowledge management, project management, and enterprise search. It's a customizable workspace that integrates AI to manage and review data quickly.
Notion: A Versatile Tool with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion AI because if I can't figure out how to do something, I can easily just ask AI to do it for me. It makes it really easy to create templates and pages without having to do a lot of data entry. Also, with changing layouts, it makes restructuring the page straightforward. My other favorite thing is the database feature. The databases are awesome and probably my second favorite. Notion AI helps me rewrite pages, work with creating new templates, and search through all my documents, which is incredibly helpful. It also lets me do micro formatting on a large scale and create formulas, which is really awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
My files tend to get lost. I tend to get confused on where I'm going, just because we have so many documents that sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming to get in there. It's also a learning curve as easy as it is to use, there's also a depth to it that's hard to crack unless you are really looking through the knowledge base. And for me, I'm currently going through the video, so, like, that's not a problem. But trying to teach the rest of my team in, like, a one hour training session, has been kind of difficult to try to narrow down and figure out how to do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes our business documents, making it super useful for managing databases and tracking changes, especially for our sales playbook and wiki. It's a phenomenal tool that boosts company happiness.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to organize content exactly the way you want because of the cell/block nature of pages. And there are a lot of options to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We document a lot of key workflows and data related things on Notion.
We also run some projects out of Notion and we use it for drafting OKRs.

Transforms Data into Insightful Charts Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can take in all my data and make useful charts and connect ideas
What do you dislike about the product?
the AI is not very reliable. if names don't match up exactly, it's not able to smart-ly put that together and get me the right results. I wanted to be able to import just one column of data but I had to reimport my entire template again and I had to reformat my database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's helping me answer questions quickly on the fly so I am freed up to do other things/research
Flexible and Powerful Yet Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for personal note taking, task management, and planning. I love that Notion is flexible; I can keep verbose notes and organize my data in so many different ways, which helps me find and understand what I'm working with. I'm also starting to use it for consulting note-taking and task planning. Notion helps me keep track of an abundance of information I encounter daily and visually see my tasks to stay organized and plan better. I appreciate how well Notion AI helps me create powerful organization tools quickly, even though I'm still learning to fully leverage its power. The AI meeting notes tool is incredibly powerful, allowing me to focus on meetings rather than spending time on note-taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a hard time learning how to use it to its full capacity. I find that Notion can be overwhelming. I also have found as I start using one method, I might find that I need to shift to another organizational style, I still am not sure how to do this and honestly unsure what is the best method or how to convert that data. Such as if I start organizing tasks in a Kanban board with a card and multiple sub pages, but then learn I want to convert one card into its own primary category. Initial setup of Notion was difficult. I believe this was due to I did not have specific requirements in place, or really know what I wanted to use it for beyond verbose note capture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep track of the abundance of information I encounter daily, visualize tasks, stay organized, and plan better. I also use it to create powerful organization tools quickly and focus on meetings rather than note-taking with its AI meeting notes tool.
Ultimate Productivity Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's flexibility and customization options, allowing me to tailor my workspace to specific needs, like project management, note-taking, and tracking habits. The drag-and-drop interface makes organizing and prioritizing tasks intuitive and visual. Templates and blocks speed up setup for various tasks, while collaboration features simplify team projects by enabling page sharing and task assignment. Notion integrates smoothly with tools like Google Drive, Slack, Figma, and Zapier, making it a hub for productivity. The initial setup was easy, thanks to its templates and interface, and I highly appreciate how it adapts to my workflow rather than the other way around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion's awesome, but a couple things can be tricky 😅: - *Learning curve*: It's so flexible, it can be overwhelming at first. Figuring out the best setup takes some time 🤯. - *Mobile experience*: The mobile app's good, but sometimes feels a bit clumpy compared to the desktop version 🤏 - *Limitations on free plan*: Some features are restricted, and the block limit on free can be a bummer if you're using it a lot 😕
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information and tools, bringing everything together in one place, customizing to fit my workflow, and boosting efficiency. Its flexibility, drag-and-drop, templates, and collaboration make project management, task tracking, and note organization seamless.
