Brilliantly versatile tool for creatives and teams alike
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has become an essential part of my workflow in advertising. It’s incredibly versatile – whether I’m building campaign timelines, managing briefs, or jotting down creative ideas, everything lives in one place. The ability to create bespoke templates for different clients or projects has saved me loads of time. It's also a brilliant tool for collaboration – I can share pages with team members, leave comments, and keep everyone aligned without endless email chains or scattered documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one drawback is that it can be a bit overwhelming at first. With so many features and customisation options, it takes time to figure out how to get the most from it. But once it’s set up properly, it’s hard to imagine going back to anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In advertising, there's a constant need to juggle timelines, briefs, assets, and stakeholder feedback – often across multiple campaigns. Notion helps consolidate everything into one centralised system, so nothing gets lost or buried in email threads. It's significantly improved our internal alignment and made briefing processes far smoother. Being able to create live documents that evolve with a campaign saves time and reduces confusion. The transparency it brings has been a real asset, especially when onboarding new team members or collaborating with clients.
Buggy
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is flexible and allows me to centralize documentation, project management, and collaboration all in one place. Its ability to create custom workflows, databases, and interconnected pages makes it powerful for both individual productivity and team transparency. It reduces the need for multiple tools, which streamlines work and improves focus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI features can be buggy or unreliable, especially with more complex prompts. Sometimes it feels like a beta feature rather than a polished tool. Additionally, performance can lag when working with large or complex pages, and offline access is still limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep everything organized in one place—notes, tasks, project plans, and team docs. Before, I was jumping between different tools, and things would slip through the cracks. Now it’s way easier to stay on top of work and collaborate with others without digging through emails or multiple apps. It just simplifies my workflow.
Game-changer for Context
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has been a solid addition to my workflow. I love how it lets me search things with context from other apps and files. It's like having everything connected in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed isn't great. Sometimes I'm waiting several seconds for it to process requests, which breaks my flow when I'm trying to work quickly. Not a big problem, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing context from different sources together.
Notion is amazing once you get the hang of it
What do you like best about the product?
The interconnectivity within the platform. Being able to create projects and tasks and connect it back out to the wider picture. Changing views from lists to calendars to help visualise information and tasks is also fab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be confusing to understand how things connect together. Creating sub tasks under one main task doesn't pull all the info across automatically so can sometimes lose things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge Base and AI chatbots are a huge timesaver and help collate information quickly.
Perfect for project management - housing all the clients in one place but able to customise each client set up to fit the project

I have used Notion for years and it continues to improve and be an essential part of my life & work.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's flexibility, but being more specific its related databases. Notion is nocode so anyone can make useful "apps" with it and if you don't have the time there are lots of free templates out there. I use notion every day. It's really fast to get started with it, for whatever you want to do and it's built in AI can generate a lot of content and features for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion isn't offline yet, but it is coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for managing my personal todo's, goals, projects and areas of my life. I use it to plan my holiday's and even manage some parts of my finances. I use it to support my governor role to. I use Notion AI to generate content and improve my writing.
Notion is an excellent workplace tool
What do you like best about the product?
The recent addition of Notion AI has totally changed the way we go about our business. We use it every day, and it's so easy. It integrates with all of our other systems (Slack, Google Drive, Meeting Notes etc) and as a result we know that the source info is coming from somewhere legit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting when creating text documents can be finickiy and it's just not quite the same as Google Docs/MS Word etc. This leads me to still use those platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer required to manually take notes. Also it is a hub for info when I'm not sure how to answer or do something.
Easy to Search, Easy to Publish, Easy to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI bot, where I can ask any questions and Notion + Slack integration will be used to find the best answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting text can be annoying-- why is it so hard to add bullets or indents to pages I'm writing?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our documentation is quite scattered. Finding answers is easy on Notion.
Loving notion

Notion has been a gamechanger.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way it pushes me to think in a more structured way. The AI assistant acts as a great thought partner so my workflow has been much more focused toward the tasks. I also love the database integrations. It's easy to access info between documents, projects, databases, and the calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can be a bit tedious for users who don't have the patience to code. Even with the templates that other Notion users make available, it takes some time and critical thinking to customize the templates to your particular needs/goals. It gets a bit overwhelming to figure out – sometimes I take some days away from a page/template/database to give myself a brainbreak. I suppose its best quality is also its worst quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of unclearly communicated expectations with my team. The AI Writing Assistant does an outstanding job of rewriting and summarizing meeting notes and action items. It also mind-maps very well so the workflow/timeline of our projects is clearly represented for the whole team. There are fewer questions about projects because there is greater clarity about what we're working toward and the steps necessary to get there.
Very productive do-it-all application
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is incredibly malleable. It can be used as a notes app as well as a CRM with so many potential add-ins and templates the opportunities are endless
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is so malleable it is not necessarily the best at any certain thing. For example I wouldnt say it is the best app for taking notes or using a CRM, but that is not necessarily a bad thing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing it for project management and note-taking in a very malleable way
