Jack of all trades, Master of None

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
• Notion enable us to replace 2 applications with 1 application and perform program management + collaborative space + meeting tracking all on the same platform making Notion the most used app by our team on a daily basis
• Ability to utilize databases, toggles, formulas and free text in the same platform
• Ability to connect multiple databases and pull information between databases
What do you dislike about the product?
• Does not have a high end graphical interface that is visually appealing and intuitive for the end users (team previously utilized Monday.com for program management)
• Limited functions for formulas make performing what are quick calculations in spreadsheets complex or not possible
• Limits (e.g. recursion errors, copying and pasting exceeding an undefined threshold) restrict what is possible in Notion
• Databases and pages can be extremely slow to load and we are extremely concerned that as our databases grow that this challenge will get worse
• Inability to merge cells
• Unable to utilize automations for all types of fields (e.g. formulas)
• Notion AI is inconsistent and prone to hallucinating requiring manual check and verification
• Would like to be able to have relations between more than 2 databases (e.g. ability to edit the same field in 3 different databases)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solved the problem of us being split between to different applications resulting in multiple To Do Lists on different platforms.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like notion a lot - it has everything in one place - as all the features required for good workspace tool. Our company use it on a daily basis.

Features I like best:
- I can create my 1:1 meetings notes via new AI meeting recorder.
- It has a great library for templates which covers all kinds of designs and formats required in any business. I always present my ideas through these templates and management likes it a lot as they are very professional.
-Easy integration with google calendar makes it easier to manage my time as well.
- Good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as such - but the only thing is that it's not a must have tool - small organisations can do without it too as google workspace can provide almost all these offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion our go-to tool for all the company resources. All the processes, database and every small change is documented on Notion and has helped us in improving adoption. New AI note taking feature has drastically reduced the manual efforts and time taken to document project meetings.

Notion provides the flexibility to organise everything in one place including daily tasks, projects, documents and many more things. It syncs across all the devices which makes it possible to make changes even in a smartphone. The templates save much time as well.

A Game-Changer for Organization and Collaboration

  • August 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is incredibly flexible—it's like having a customizable digital workspace that adapts to whatever you need, whether that's project management, note-taking, content planning, or even creating lightweight databases. The ability to combine text, tables, tasks, and embeds in a single page makes it easy to centralize information. I also love the collaborative features; editing in real time with my team feels seamless, and the comments/mentions keep everyone on the same page. Its template library is also a huge time-saver, letting me start projects with a solid structure right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion’s UX can feel a bit plain and uninspiring visually—especially compared to tools with more vibrant design cues. Additionally, it can sometimes be slow to load, particularly for large workspaces or pages with heavy content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Notion, I juggled multiple tools for notes, task management, and documentation. Notion consolidates all of that into one platform, reducing tool-switching and keeping my workflow much more organized. It’s also helped my team centralize project documentation, making it easier for new members to get up to speed without digging through scattered files. The transparency and visibility across projects have significantly improved our productivity and reduced communication gaps.

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of transcription and summary. We will be using it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having OCR to import signed documents that were scanned as a pdf. OneNote has the ability to print file into it and convert into searchable format.

It requires a lot of knowledge to learn how to use the best options of data organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the best at transcriptions and auto summarizing

Notion for AI workflows

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Notion for a while now, and like how well it integrates with Python via the Notion API as well as with low code tools like Zapier and Make.com. I have used Notion to develop automation workflows with OpenAI, and it has worked seamlessly. I love the fact that databases can be created using Notion. Moreover, it can be seamlessly integrated with monitoring tools like Grafana, enabling real-time alerts in Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many customized views and custom databases can confuse people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to set up databases for small to medium projects
The ability to integrate with platforms seamlessly
The speed with which integrations can be done

    E-Learning

I have ditched Google Docs after working on Notion.

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Since I work as a learning specialist in an edtech startup, our LMS is connected with Notion. Everything we write in Notion is visible on the platform.

The best things, in simple words, are:

I can embed a lot of different things like H5P, videos, etc.

The stackable way of creating content—I can create a page under a page under a page, which is very useful for keeping things organized and aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feature is quite costly. You should consider bringing the price down so we don’t have to leave Notion to use ChatGPT.

Two features I would like:

- The ability to delete single cells in a table.

- The option to color each row or column differently, or even color individual cells.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an edtech company that creates courses for externships for students. Our LMS is connected to Notion, so all the content we create in Notion is directly uploaded to the LMS. This integration allows us to work primarily in Notion all day, streamlining our workflow and eliminating the need to manually transfer content between platforms.
