Great for Organizing Files, But Database Feature Is Confusing
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can keep all of your important files and resources in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is tricky to figure out and I still don't understand the database function even though I have done a lot of trainings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It houses all of my files and information in one place. I call it my business and life website.
Decent Information Hub with Room for More Features
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Notion for about eighteen months primarily at work for capturing information and documenting processes, which I find very convenient as it serves as our main resources and training site. I appreciate that setting it up wasn't required from my end, and making pages and edits is quite easy, which enhances its usability for maintaining organizational knowledge efficiently. I find Notion to be a good place to capture information and write down processes, really serving as a centralized information hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion lacking in interaction and integration capabilities with other platforms, which could enhance its usability and connectivity. Additionally, I feel the absence of team communication features, such as chat functions, makes collaboration harder, limiting connection with other team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a resource and training site to capture information and document processes easily.
Notion's AI Integration is a Game-Changer
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion because it helps me capture all of my creative ideas, allowing me to come back to them when the time is right. Managing projects and tasks has become so much easier, and I appreciate the way Notion helps me find patterns, trends, and themes to put everything into full context for a bigger picture. Notion AI is undoubtedly the most incredible feature, as it provides powerful database-driven functionalities that are incredibly useful once you understand how to utilize them. I can easily ask Notion AI for help, which enhances my ability to maximize the platform’s features. This integration goes beyond what I can achieve with other services because of the rich knowledge base it accesses. Overall, Notion’s ability to streamline my organizational and productivity skills makes it indispensable for my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the graphic user interface of Notion to be somewhat limiting in terms of customization. I would love to have more power to personalize the interface style to better fit my individual preferences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to capture creative ideas, enabling me to revisit them later. It helps me identify patterns and trends, putting everything in full context for the bigger picture. It lets me get creative concepts out of my head without worrying if I’ve lost something valuable in a notebook. I can push it right into one of my projects that will ensure it’s on my review schedule. It’s also helping me to build out my own custom project/task management in a way that works for me. The solutions I’ve used in the past were rigid, or challenging to customize.
All-in-One Workspace: Flexible, Collaborative, and Time-Saving
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion unifies wiki, docs, tasks, and relational databases in one flexible workspace. Relations/rollups and multiple views (table/board/calendar/timeline) let me build systems without code, and templates save time. Collaboration via comments and @mentions is smooth, the API with Zapier/Make enables automation, and Notion AI helps with fast summarization and drafting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can slow down with very large databases and complex filters, and offline support—especially on mobile—is limited. Export isn’t perfect (preserving formulas/relations is tricky), advanced permissions require careful setup, Arabic/RTL support is incomplete, and some advanced project-management needs still require workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves fragmented knowledge and task management across too many tools. I consolidated our company wiki, onboarding templates, CRM, content calendar, and creative asset library in one relational database. Relations/rollups auto-build campaign dashboards and approval flows, while Notion AI speeds up meeting notes and summaries. With the API + Zapier/Make, I create tasks from forms and sync with Slack/Drive. Result: a single source of truth, higher transparency, faster delivery, and data-driven decisions.
Seamless Scheduling with Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion particularly valuable for its seamless functionality triggered by Notion AI. It significantly enhances my productivity by allowing me to efficiently manage my content schedule, keeping me on track to meet deadlines. I can ask it to create detailed schedules and time blocks for the week, displayed by the minute or hour, which helps in precise content creation and personal time management. I appreciate how user-friendly Notion has become after watching a few tutorials, transforming into a robust and comprehensive scheduler on my computer. The detailed organization of my workflows through Notion's scheduling features streamlines my daily activities and enhances my ability to stay organized. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion, though initially frustrating, was made easy and straightforward after watching tutorials, which speaks to the accessibility and support provided to new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Notion charges for many features, particularly AI integration. I feel that the pricing for these features should be more affordable, especially since AI is becoming ubiquitous and should not be expensive to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep my schedule organized, making content planning seamless and efficient with detailed time blocking using Notion AI.
AI Capabilities Make Notion a Must-Have Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion for its ease of setup despite having a learning curve. As I continued to use it and practice, it became increasingly easier to navigate. I find immense value in Notion's capability to solve personal organization challenges and assist with business tasks, effectively replacing my previous dependence on multiple tools like Zapier. The AI capabilities are particularly impressive, with features such as AI meeting notes, AI agents, and integration with communication tools like ChatGPT, and Claude, enhancing my productivity and enabling seamless interaction with my site pages. This integration of automation and AI elements into my workflow is highly beneficial, and I am excited about the potential to further integrate with other tools in the future. Overall, my positive experience with Notion is reflected in my willingness to actively subscribe and recommend it to others, as indicated by my perfect score of 10 for recommendation likelihood.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tools are not intuitive and have a steep learning curve, but I would consider those tools more for advanced users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to solve personal organization issues and improve business operations with automation and AI capabilities, transitioning from Zapier for enhanced efficiency.
Great Transcription, But Navigation and private cloud Integrations Need Work and user feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Transcription of Teams meetings with summation, without passworded Sharepoint integration was great. integration with the corporate microsoft authentication is blocked, and will always be blocked, and won't ever be overcome from a civil/project engineering division request.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout of what screen I'm in at any moment doesn't seem to represent any organisation or structure.
Cannot connect to the private google accounts, or if I "connect" an integration, it seems to just stall and go back to where I was, without adding it, the feedback as to what didn't work is silent.
There doesn't seem to be a space where automated "agents" are available to trial/create/run? which is tied into the structured delivery of where my data or options available to me don't appear available to me as a user.
I can't use voice-direction in an open plan office environment, too many other voices on headsets, but chat AI questioning didn't seem to give more open options to overcome the above concerns.

transcription and summary of meetings, but it's the voice/person tagging that is lacking so it's goign to be limited.
I love the meeting note AI feature, but the performance is no good.
What do you like best about the product?
Probably the meeting option, it allows notes to be taken and allows insights to be given regarding various parts of convos. Super helpful/
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst part about notion is how laggy it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me having to keep notes on all the various different convos and keeps chat accurate during hour long conversations regarding diplomatic and crazy conversations to prevent
Complex but Powerful, Needs Simplification
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Notion is helping me organize certain aspects of my business and personal life, particularly when it comes to creating progress notes for therapy. This feature is incredibly useful because I need to ensure that my notes are created without any identifiable information, and Notion provides a safe environment for this due to its HIPAA compliance. Additionally, the use of AI to assist with generating these progress notes is a beneficial tool for me, enhancing the efficiency and compliance of my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the setup process for Notion to be quite difficult, and I'm still struggling with it. The platform seems very advanced, which could be helpful to some, but for me, I need something simpler. Additionally, I don't find it super beneficial at this point because I haven't learned how to effectively use it, especially the feature of managing different pages within pages. I would prefer if Notion were easier to use and didn't require so much time to learn, as I'm not very tech-savvy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my work and personal life, helping with tasks like creating HIPAA-compliant therapy notes. However, I struggle with its complexity, making it not fully beneficial yet.
All-in-One Flexibility for Seamless Project and Client Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is their approach to AI, which, together with the platform's flexibility, has made a big difference for me. I've been able to consolidate many applications I would normally use separately into a single app, allowing them to work seamlessly together. Whether I need timesheet management, project management, a wiki, or client management, everything I require is available in one place. The addition of AI agents makes the platform even more powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered any major problems with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool for project management and timekeeping related to my clients. It helps me keep track of multiple projects by providing updates and summaries on our progress, which makes it easy to reorganize and prioritize tasks as needed. I also rely on it to review various business documents and process the information efficiently. Additionally, the smart task lists feature is particularly helpful in managing my workload.
