Intuitive and Customizable Notion is a Must-Have
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive Notion is, especially with its navigation and feature accessibility which enhances my productivity. The keyboard shortcuts, such as the slash command, are incredibly useful for speeding up tasks and improving workflow efficiency. I appreciate the variety of file types, including PDFs, that Notion can store, enabling me to consolidate all my important documents in one place. The AI integration is a standout feature for me, allowing me to ask insightful questions about my data and receive immediate responses, which is invaluable for strategic decision-making. Notion's customization capabilities allow me to tailor the platform to my needs, making it both powerful and flexible. I enjoy how I can braindump an idea for a new page, describe how I want it organized, and have it built automatically. Furthermore, the ease with which I switched from Google Sheets and Excel to Notion showcases its superior features such as storing additional information in the side peek of rows, creating new pages, and synchronizing across pages seamlessly. This adaptability and comprehensive set of features justify a high recommendation from me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited customization options, particularly when it comes to adjusting font sizes and line gridding. Additionally, I find it cumbersome to recreate the same 'table' or 'database' for certain pages repeatedly. I wish there were an easier way to access templates, allowing me to quickly drop customized templates across different areas in Notion without having to start from scratch each time.

Notion helps me stay organized by storing large amounts of information in various views, allowing quick access, and enhancing productivity with AI insights.
Powerful AI Capabilities, Easy Transition
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's AI agent feature, which allows me to tell it what I want, and then it gets made for me, saving me time and simplifying my workflow. This feature enhances my ability to cross-reference account lists with mine effortlessly, all within the same platform, so I don't need to rely on separate AI tools. Having my spreadsheets organized by just entering them into the built-in AI agent streamlines my sales processes and note-keeping, making Notion an invaluable tool for my sales job. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and the platform's organizational capabilities are far superior to what we had with Excel, which my team was using before Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI in Notion doesn't understand what I am saying, which might be a user error but is still frustrating. I also wish there was a more extensive library of templates to pull from, as it's hard to visualize the best way to organize things until I see examples.

I use Notion to organize my sales processes and maintain my notes efficiently. The AI agent helps me cross-reference account lists and manage spreadsheets without needing other tools.

The only issue I can think of is that there is so much you can do with Notion, it can feel overwhelming at times. Having a more comprehensive guide, perhaps with more videos included, would make it easier to learn how to use Notion effectively.

AI Meeting Notes Useful but Hard to Extract
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion incredibly valuable for creating our own internal wiki, which helps organize and centralize information efficiently. I love the AI meeting notes feature, which allows me to hit play and get a comprehensive recording of the entire meeting. This feature provides a reliable source of truth for what was discussed in meetings, enhancing clarity and helping in documenting discussions accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated with the AI meeting notes in Notion. Although the AI feature seems promising, it struggles to identify who is speaking during calls, limiting its usefulness. Additionally, extracting notes information through API is not very effective. These limitations make the AI meeting notes less helpful than they could be. Furthermore, the initial setup of Notion was challenging, and that difficulty impacted my overall experience with the product.

I use Notion to create our internal wiki and record meetings, providing a valuable source of truth, although extracting AI notes isn't easy.
Personalized Workspace Features, But Lacks Handwriting Support
What do you like best about the product?
It can works on the stuff I left in my workspace, and it's more personalized.

No handwriting. Also, poor project management

As a writer, I have a lot of raw material to deal with and processing them myself may time-consuming and inefficient. Notion helps the things out
Collaborative Organization and Impeccable Customization in Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of customization and the way Notion helps organize team processes, information, and projects in a collaborative and visual environment. It's great for documenting workflows, tracking tasks, and keeping everything accessible and integrated.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a need for a bit more fluidity and automation for use in teams and more complex processes. In large structures, the performance and organization of the pages can become a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps centralize information and standardize internal processes, which reduces the loss of context between teams and improves communication. Today we can document CRM workflows, organize projects, and track deliveries in one place. This brings more clarity, agility, and alignment between the Marketing, CS, and Product areas.
Great for Collaboration, But Navigation Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
team collaboration is easy, and having links to outside documents and projects is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a long time to actually 'get it' and sometimes you can't find what you were working on, or a window closes and you can't find it again.

Effortless Information Organization and Cross-Project Reference
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is great at organizing information and serving as a source of truth for multiple projects. I love quickly being able to reference across multiple spaces.

Notion is a pain to get started as a project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is our primary tool for project and knowledge management. We can link reference docs directly to tasks and automate many updates to keep everyone up to speed on what's happening.

What do you like best about the product?
Knowledge Management—Being able to create many pages, environment databases, etc. to manage your thoughts much more powerfully than Google Docs or Word.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's intimidating for first time users. They already don't want to adopt new tech, so add the complexity of Notion's interface on top of this. I'd love to use it more often for shared family docs with my partner, but the learning curve is the biggest hurdle.

One source of knowledge for all projects across the agency. Rather than Google Docs or Word, we can create timelines, databases, docs, notes, and use AI all in one platform.
