very nice IBM review
What do you like best about the product?
When you're working on different kinds of virtual machines some with faster or solwer processors and storage this really helps everything run smmothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my case, all our virtual machines use the same CPU nd fast storage. Since most of them are treated as medical devices, we have to follow strict rules. But setting that aside, it would be great if we could make sure these machines always keep the same resources/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making clear decisions about a few key features and whether to use a specific machine or VCP license is important. The cost of extra workloads and infrastructure really matters for the business. Still, I personally like using this.
Cloudavility: Worth it

There's not much difference compared to other cloud providers.

The main benefits are that it's easy to connect with other tools, and all the resources you need are readily available.

Cloudability helps you manage and control your IT spending whether your systems are in the cloud or on site. It makes it easier to set up rules, stay organized, and automate tasks, when it comes to finances and unfractured. Basically, when you think of cloudability, you think of smarter, more efficient cloud cost management.

It's bit expensive for small IT teams, and it would be more helpful if there was better support when getting started for the first time.

After implementing Cloudability our cloud billing has become much faster to publish, we have relied on the flexibility provided to assist us with other task such as tag controls, annual license true up, using API to export data to some of our in-house tools and many more.
What do you dislike about the product?
After the initial IBM M&A the product updates have been a little bit chaotic (we are waiting on some features previously announced, but not yet delivered e.g. user grouping for access controls), but I am definitely seeing that this is ramping up and I am positive that great further updates will come.

IBM cloudability helped us to do some substantial costs savings on AWS thanks to accurate resources righsizing recommendations
We also appreciate the possibility of email alerts on spending anomalies, it helps us to be more reactive to find the root cause

Cloudability - Our route to financial understanding in Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to be able to pull in data from multiple Cloud vendors and review the entire spend in one location simply cannot be underestimated. Using Cloud Financial Planning daily gives us the ability to work more closely with the business to directly recognise, validate and manage our cloud spend. The ability to split this down in a business focussed way that meets our requirement and financial requirement, makes this a go to product. As a cloud based product it was easy to integrate within our existing environment. Having resource alligned to us to help when things have been challenging has also been hugely beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The move for reporting to BI has not been the most straight forward and as the product is constantly being updated and upgraded sometimes you can feel a little overwelmed by new functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is enabling us to view across ourt cloud vendors all within a single pane of glass. It helps us to crosscharge and validate usage and therefore spend with the various business teams. CFP has enabled us to work more closely with the budget owners within teh business to better understand and manage our cloud spend.
