Fairly easy and integratable
What do you like best about the product?
Multi assets upload and being able to either apply settings to all, or make amend to a selected few. The other part is the ability to add variables (meta data as they call it) on admin level, so it has a bit more flexibility to tailor it to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of folder structure. For some campaign materials that typically belong together, a ZIP gives no visual overview, thus a folder would be nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset management for a massive amount of SKU's. It will serve as tool to deliver all images to a headless ecom platform. Next to that it also serves as platform to deliver campaign material and open files to stakeholders within the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great if you also have a decent process and/or dedicated person/team to make sure you stick to your meta convention.
Super helpful tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I am a bigger user of the Workflow tool and it's helped organize our department immensely!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some innovations I'm hoping to see soon - Jira integration, tagging in annotation comments, duplicating jobs, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the Workflow tool as our project management software for our Content and Creative teams. It has created transparency within the organization and a clear picture of our current priorities.
Great tool backed by a great team
What do you like best about the product?
The tool itself is incredibly robust and customizable/flexible, as well as end-user friendly. On top of that, the Bynder team is fantastic at supporting the tool from onboarding/implementation to day-to-day support. Friendly, responsive, and deeply knowledgeable. Our own admins find the tool easy to use and support from a user management and training perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics functionality leaves a bit to be desired. Content owners should be able to easily export CSVs that provide full asset metadata and details about whether the assets are getting viewed and downloaded, when, and by whom, without having to turn on or pay extra for a separate "advanced analytics" module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder DAM solves our issues of content sprawl/disorganization, version control/duplication of effort, and inconsistent tagging and nomenclature. It also serves as the "single source of truth" on our brand guidelines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Leveraging Bynder's professional services (project management, implementation, mass import, etc.) is a huge help, especially for initial implementation and onboarding of user groups.
Even I could figure it out
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Bynder is that even though it may seem robust, it is user friendly, and can be learned if taken the time and attention to do so. The people are very helpful for any questions or panics you may have and the process is pretty straight forward. I like that it has a wide variety of tools and that there are many different options to achieve what you want to achieve.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't a lot of downsides but there can be problems if you don't understand exactly what the verbiage is or how to use the site. We have had to go through some trouble shooting but were able to figure it out through customer support in the end. I also wish the homepage was a little more customizable. Not the end of the world but being that we a re a design creative company, we wish we had more free reign to adjust things on our own for the homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving have to do with organization. We used a different Digital Asset Management system before Bynder's and we all believe that Bynder's is more intuitive, simple, and more helpful over than the previous DAM that we had for our specific use case.
Great platform, flexible and a very seamless on boarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very flexible and configurable and for the areas outside of our use case, there's a fully featured API we can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, it's what we've been looking for after reviewing several platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our digital artifacts in a single place with a complicated taxonomy that can be searched easily.
User-friendly asset management
What do you like best about the product?
Users with very little or no experience can find and use approved visuals (still or motion). Digital Brand Templates make creating branded content a breeze. Sharing of big files using the built in sharing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time of writing there are no dislikes form mine or view of our users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralised database of visuals and branded materials for digital distribution. Workload of the graphic department can focus on more important things than resizing and searching for images in a specific format. End users can do that themselves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are serious about your brand and have recognised the need of a centralised asset management system, Bynder should be at the top of any list of possible solutions. The Bynder staff and on boarding teams are extremely helpful and friendly. All in all the complete experience in implementing Bynder was very smooth.
Fantastic on-boarding process.
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is easy for users to learn and get started with. They haven't overcomplicated the user interface so that barrier doesn't exist.
What do you dislike about the product?
They could do a tad more with different video codecs. We would like to see more derivative options using pro res.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exporting options.
Sharing of assets.
Reporting on asset use.

The best customer service and easiest DAM
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is amazing! Our implementation and project manager have made everything easy to understand and migration a breeze. The system itself is also incredibly easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only “dislike” I have is the inability to add our own super admin access. I’d love there to be some kind of training that would allow us to obtain greater admin access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a team that only uses our current DAM when absolutely necessary, because it is a cluttered, not easy to search in, and generally just a painful experience. Bynder will help us pull in the team members we lost with the old DAM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Bynder team is very helpful with planning our taxonomy exercises, however, it helps to have an idea of what you want your taxonomy to look like!
bynder is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Working with the Bynder implementation team has been a breeze. They are extremely organized and every weekly call was very helpful in a smooth transition from an old DAM system to Bynder.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that we can see at that the moment. still working to get everything moved over to Bynder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has a much better user interface than our previous DAM vendor which means our team members can find assets easier for their projects. It felt team members were constantly training other team members on how to use the old DAM even though it had been around for years. Plus Bynder has analytics so we can pull reports on which assets are being used most frequently which helps inform business decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Bynder is a great tool if you are looking for a simple, straightfoward solution for digital assessment management across multiple teams and locations. Bynder makes it easy for users to find what they need in seconds rather than searching aimlessly in old DAMs.
High Functionality with Wid Accessibility
What do you like best about the product?
A simple uploading process and Amazon-style search capabilities make Bynder very easy to set up and navigate. We were able to get a fully configured site live and functioning in under a week, and getting all of our files uploaded and optimized was fast and simple with unlimited cloud storage and a slick asset uploading interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are currently limited by the number of users we are able to have in Bynder. Upon our initial inquiry, we were told that we would have unlimited seats for all company stakeholders, but this is not the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are realizing that there is varying understandings in Bynder's capabilities, and people believe it o be an open platform that is fully customizable. Additional training is needed to help people focus on the purpose of Bynder and what it is used for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at all the capabilities of Bynder and make sure this DAM meets your organizations needs. There are many integrations and tools that make this platform much more capable than other DAM platforms.
