Great product and simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's great having a one stop shop for all of our images, documents, etc., with an easy search functionality and sorting capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is being unable to tag individual images during a bulk upload, and having to go into the unique assets post-upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with not having to go into multiple folders to find images on our server, and going into this online platform. Another problem being solved is getting around file size limitations when sharing via outlook.

Consider what the initial upload will be and what sorting capabilities you want.

That there isn’t a folder option. I understand that you can make a collection but it would be helpful to have options to separate things into their own folders.

Asset management and image storage. Everyone can now easily access our images in one place.

Make sure you have time to put towards making your Bynder page the best that it could be.

Bynder DAM help us to keep consistency across all departments.

Since we are using a lot of Microsoft Power Point, will be great to have integration with the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smoother and easy way to keep people updated in our visual guidelines. Our assets are easy to access, to update and control. Because of that the quality of our everyday working life is improved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice is to have test sessions before buying Bynder where you can see more of the portal.

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is a great DAM platform for those starting out and needing a base system. Customer support has been great and the portal meets all our needs and is very reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ease of sharing and ease of integration setup could be smoother.

Marketing teams can easily find approved assets.

Centralized image library. Had troubles keeping track of updates and compliance notes. Filtering, navigation, and collections made it very easy to make the right things easy to find.

Go ahead and shop around, you can see the difference for yourself.
Simple User Interface and Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The layout and user interface is friendly and easy to navigate. With the ability to tag and provide metadata to assets this creates a simplistic, but dynamic tool making finding assets and collateral easy. Our stakeholders love the ability to easily find, share, and download assets at their convenience instead of using email to request assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Additional requests came after the platform was implemented and our Creative team was tasked with creating private assets for specific groups/business units. It was challenging to execute this solution to the platform initially on our own but it was great to find out that the application has the capability to provide specific assets to certain groups. It was a small learning curve to understand meta properties and how they react on the backend but was swiftly assisted by the greater Bynder Support Staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Bynder, we as a Creative Team, are now able to empower our stakeholders and share Brand assets with ease. Before it was difficult to manage requests for these Brand assets and Creative became a bottleneck at times.

Workflow functionality and the Bynder support team
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to pseudo/log in on behalf of another user to make sure they are setup correctly and there are no sensitive data exposures.

Workflow moderation of digital assets for both internal and external users. Time savings and organization of assets

The interface is great - it is easy to navigate and get your files uploaded so that the whole team has instant access to everything they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Mass uploader is a little more than we bargained for... but we did get it done. A Bynder solution would be a nice perk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a one stop shop for all of our assets - and we have that issue solved thanks to Bynder. The ability to pass off large documents easily (especially during a global pandemic) is very valuable.

What do you like best about the product?
Organization using taxonomies, user groups, mass uploading, SSO and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personalization should be improved, as well as responsive design.

The tool we were missing
What do you like best about the product?
As a Content Marketer, I feel that Bynder's core functionality - the Digital Asset Management tool - is exactly what we were missing in our company. Being able to apply multiple filters at once and guiding the users (mainly our Sales Team) towards that document that serves their particular need really makes the difference. It was quite intuitive to set Bynder up and I think our users are really noticing the difference with the previous spreadsheet.
I also like the way you can create your own home page, to highlight certain campaigns or content pieces.

What do you dislike about the product?
One functionality that I feel could be improved is the capability to upload blog posts or anything else as online documents. Bynder is fantastic to store pdfs or imagery, but our Marketing Content database consists of a lot of online content that does not have an offline pdf equivalent. We solved this issue, but it could be done better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Bynder Digital Asset Management, both our Marketing & our Sales Department can find all the documents they need in a few seconds. Before Bynder, I think our Sales Department used to benefit from only 10 % of the documents that our Content Marketing Team produced. Now, there are no excuses anymore. Everyone knows where the documents are and by applying relevant filters like "industry / persona / etc." they can find the document that supports their story quite easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your team is struggling to find the right Marketing Content, either because all files are scattered between different places of storage, or because you're working with folders & sub-folders or a spreadsheet, just go for Bynder Digital Asset Management.
