Bynder works as a great solution for media management.
What do you like best about the product?
As a great reputated digital asset management, it's really useful to use it in large organizations. I find it really helpful anytime I need to receive, upload and share any kind of media content, such as video, images, audio. I mostly work in area of digital marketing and content editing, so it's a perfect tool. I can tag all contents and use the tags to find the things I need. I can create collections, which are really helpful to share with external contractors and to store the material I need to create my video and content pieces.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been a consistent user of Bynder for more than two years, and honestly, I can't find anything that I don't like. All the amazing features have helped me a lot to bring more efficiency in my daily work, especially as I work with international and external colleagues, even abroad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest benefits is that I can share content, even heavy ones, with contractors, without them necessarily being part of the organization. I can simply share a link, and they can download the media I selected instead of using other tools such as wetransfer or dropbox. Other than that, I can see all the material my colleagues are working with, so we can share the same files and projects.

Allows us to have assets in one central location, ease of findability, and discovery of images. Workflow is made easier.
Bynder Admin needs work
What do you like best about the product?
Many powerful tools for sorting/filtering/organizing digital assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Admin side of Bynder is in dire need of a serious overhaul. Many simple task are made overly complicated by an outdated and not user friendly interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No real problem solving as such. It is just a convenient way for us to organize and store our assets.

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has helped our team develop a consistent file naming structure, taxonomy system, and usable DAM to house all of our creative assets. We've had asset libraries before, but this time we've been able to apply taxonomy as we upload, making it easier to actually find the assets we need. Our onboarding manager was very helpful and timely with all of our requests during the onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any DAM platform that we've tried, there are some bugs within the system. The cropping tool within the editing tab doesn't work as we would expect, and the Bynder Support team members weren't able to show us this tool in working order either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've discovered several intricacies about our asset library that we wouldn't have realized until they were all in one place. For instance, how large our library is, what subject areas we're lacking, and how our workflows between teams can be improved.

the amount of filters that you can use to index the image bank.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes when combining several filters the results are not 100% reliable.

as soon as i have a need i contact Bynder so we have added several features that help us in our daily tasks.
Bynder Digital Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
The whole setup process was professional and comprehensive. The Bynder team explained all the options and went through each step with us. It felt like they genuinely wanted this to be a great experience and that the product met all our needs. Once live, the asset library was easy to use and intuitive. What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Bynder is the cost. While the setup costs were reasonable the ongoing costs were higher than we could justify. We did look at reducing the license count but in the end the problem was lack of staff uptake of the system due to no fault of the Bynder team or the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By moving all our images and videos off our in-house servers, we freed up disk space and reduced image duplication, making images easier to find and accessible to more staff. Having the ability to add copywrite and usage notes to images before publication makes the process of who can use what image for what purpose seamless
Bynder has been a great success story for our organisation in the management photos and brands.

Ease of use for a large number of staff with various skill levels. One stop shop for photos and brand management. Ongoing support is fantastic.

We do not dislike anything at this stage.

Bynder has enabled staff to be confident in storing and selecting images for use in a wide range of products.
Bynder is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Bynder is fairly intuative compared to other DAMs that I've worked with. Customer support is prompt and attentive.

Can be a little glitchy. I wish I could navigate it more using my keyboard and quickkeys

Bynder gives our team in LA, NY and The EU equal access and we can see in realtime what everyone is diong.
Great collaboration from start to finish!
What do you like best about the product?
The entire collaboration has been great. From the start with Merel until the onboarding process with Anna and William. I really liked the communication and weekly updates. Step by step, we were guided through the software and Anna and William were always available for questions. Mavenlink is an awesome solution. Simple, but effective!
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult question. I cannot come up with anything that I really disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endless searching for the correct file or picture is in the past now. We are much more efficient within our marketing department. With Bynder we have become much more critical in the assets that we upload and make available for our marketing campaigns.
Not sure how we ran our business without Bynder before
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely user friendly; self-serve but still very robust and integrates with all the core tools we already use; from CMS to CRM and our creative design tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company hasn't gone "all in" yet, so we're missing some of the features that their other modules offer (brand guidelines, brand templating for scaling content creation). But I think we'll be expanding shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a robust repository to simply find what content we have produced in the past has already made huge difference for us. But there's more, versioning allows us to still view the old versions of a certain document, so nothing gets lost and it ensures we're always using the latest and greatest.
