Great onboarding experience!

What do you like best about the product?
Overally the system is very easy to use. Uploading our assets and bulk edit changes made the process go a lot faster than anticipated. Our onboarding manager, Nick Nguyen, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and made setup a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some struggles during the sales process. A few issues with items discussed not translating into our contract. In the end, those items were fixed, but it made for a bumpy start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplified access for external partners to upload and download content.

What do you like best about the product?
Sturdy DAM, easy to navigate, great templating tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Long onboarding - although necessary, VBS is a little too complex for the normal end user.

What do you like best about the product?
Asset bank and guidelines are intuitive also the versatile taxonomy features
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows, digital templates and collections could be more feature rich.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset management got so much easier, approvals made us able to have more control over where certain assets are used and accessed.

What do you like best about the product?
End-users find the platform easy to navigate. Technical support is good overall. The account manager is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics is a big area of opportunity, the reporting module is basic and the insights you can get are limited. Advanced functionalities for metaproperties are limited (e.g. auto-populate fields). Features to track asset reusage are missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Governance of digital assets, prevent digital content gets lost, promote asset reusage, gain efficiencies by integrating the DAM with other platforms

Premier Overall DAM Platform

What do you like best about the product?
The straightforward rules for configuration along with the plethora of aspects that are customizable make it ideal for any size company or organization to leverage at the heart of its martech stack. Plus, it has over a half dozen add-on modules and extensions which increases its power far beyond the DAM repository itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. There is a learning curve to managing all modules effectively in our experience, but that is true for almost any full-featured platform. Rights management is even accomplishable through use of metaproperties and access/visibility management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single source of truth for any type of digital asset, repository for content syndication to multiple channels, management of complete asset lifecycle from creation through archive , ability to control production costs through templates, automatic creation of derivatives - those are several of the big ones.

What do you like best about the product?
The portal is slick, easy to understand, navigate and use. Onboarding was excellent and comprehensive, as has been Customer Satisfaction Management since. Almost 2 years down the line and we have hardly had to reach out to Bynder for support at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the fine-tuning (such as image quality for derivatives) is not manageable by end-users, requiring Bynder to help instead. On the plus side, they are quick to advise and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Contentful as our CMS, which supports assets but isn't great at it. We needed a robust, best-in-class DAM for assets. Contentful and Bynder have partnered before and have well-tested integrations, so we are using both and have been happy so far. Our Content Editors love using Bynder as the way assets are organised (with tags and metafilters rather than hierarchical folders) makes it almost effortless for them to quickly find what they're looking for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a proof-of-concept. Bynder support during ours was excellent.

What do you like best about the product?
Great communication, and project management for our implementation, it is a great tool that allows for open integrations and easy navigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see a better uploading experience for updating metadata via CSV vs the more manual process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, there are no problems and we will start reaping the benefits once we are fully rolled out.

Brand Guidelines - I wish the tab had an editable name.

We can store all of our assets in one place. This makes items easier to find and update as needed.

Incredible Solution for Streamlining Workflow & Organization

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder provides a valuable tool for storing, editing and sharing our team's assets with clients across a broad organization. The onboarding and support teams are also incredibly helpful, providing significant attention to our needs and assistance with establishing best practices. Not only are there tools for storing and organizing assets, one thing we particularly love about the product is the ability to publish news items and create comprehensive web pages within the Brand Guidelines feature. Bynder is effectively streamlining our efforts to combine communication, sharing, and training into one singular point of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tough to come up with specific dislikes for the product as a big part of this is just adapting to new workflows for our operations. The team at Bynder is attentive and helpful in guiding us towards what works best with the platform and how to make those adjustments. We've occasionally run into situations where there's been a technical issue. When those aren't the result of user error, the team has worked hard to quickly respond and help resolve those issues. There is a desire on Bynder's part to always work to improve and innovate, which we certainly appreciate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As indicated above, Bynder is providing us with a solution for storing and organizing a massive number of assets that drive dozens of subsections of our organization. The process of establishing our digital asset manager helped us think critically about how to categorize our assets and provide a useful and comprehensive taxonomy to allow our clients to narrow down searches. Our assets are not a "one size fits all" approach, so this is allowing us to drill down what is most relevant to each specific client. What began as a daunting, yet exciting process has evolved into an internal collaboration that excites our team --- and that excitement is now being shared at the client level too.
