Bynder: The one and only solution I can ever imagine
What do you like best about the product?
Not only is the interface easy to use and understand, but it's also easy to teach and help my team members to adapt to their daily processes. The onboarding team at Bynder (specifically Anne Silva and Claire Blechman) has been incredible to work with in setting up this monster of a project. During the handover process, the seamless transition with Julia Crawford and Nate Ross has been reassuring and looking forward to working with them more in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't noted any issues or downsides with using Bynder in the six months that I've been using the platform. The team has been really helpful with any support issues we've had, and there is nothing outlying that hasn't been address directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taco Bell and Taco Bell Creative specifically have a LOT of creative assets that have found themselves in a storage ether. Some are on exteral hard drives, some are on corporate cloud storage, and some are just impossible to find when needed. Bynder has helped us to organize our team members and correctly name, label, and upload/archive creative assets for future use and/or reference. It's been a lifesaver.

What do you like best about the product?
The sales and onboarding process were so smooth, and the DAM search functionality works great. The onboarding manager made what would have been an intimidating process feel very manageable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing the homepage is not the easiest to do; compared to the rest of the product, this aspect is the least user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently have assets saved on a shared drive, an intranet, a quality compliance software, social media and beyond. Having a DAM will allow us to store all our finalized assets in one place.
Platform and client success manager are unrivalled
What do you like best about the product?
Client Success Manager Krijn is a huge support and always available to help. User friendly platform ensures only minimal training needed for internal rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bynder is expensive! That's it really - definitely the best platform we considered when scoping options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The search functionalities and tagging capabilities were key to our user case and have allowed us to overcome problems with ancient folder systems and lost assets, Internal stakeholders have overwhelmingly given positive feedback and use the platform regularly to seek out assets - where they could not before.
Excellent Interaction From The Bynder Team
What do you like best about the product?
The most beneficial aspect of Bynder is the organization of our digital assets. This organization allows our company to function with one system as a one-stop shop for digital assets. Digital assets can be searched in several ways, and user access can be separated between users in different departments or divisions. The interaction from the Bynder support team has been exceptional in brainstorming ideas that work best for our company's process flow. The Bynder team was highly knowledgeable in their platform and seemed to have a solution for most of our questions and concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been much that I dislike about Bynder, but I would say the automated portion of getting this connected to our internal systems seems to be the most challenging. Nothing that we can't work through, but I wish it was a little more direct without having to use 3rd party agencies to understand how to connect these systems with as few complications as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant problem that Bynder is solving is how we can reduce digital asset requests from email and shared folders so that everyone has one access point to claim the specific digital assets they require. Reducing the number of email requests for these assets frees up employee time to help them focus on other tasks and allows others to utilize the system for any of their specific asset needs.
Great platform that satisfies many needs
What do you like best about the product?
You can customize Bynder to do many things. As time goes on there you will probably have more needs for organizing your assets. Bynder grows with you and adds features constantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bynder can be a bit hard to work with sometimes. I often times have to ask support to do simple things that are either too complex to do in the platform or only the development team is allowed to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing our digital assets and making sure that users always have the most up to date asset. It also allows us to have multiple file types and sizes fo an asset without having to run it through Photoshop.
It is a great platform to organize our projects and assets.

The best thing is that we have everything we need in one single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It crashes quite often but we promptly have that fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't need to use emails for brief, comments and following the latest version of our assets and compare to previous ones is a great feature for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the adaptability to mold to organizational needs. It's relatively intuitive. The support staff is terrific and so responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any application, building a solid framework is essential. So it's not really about disliking Bynder but more around the original structure we created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is solving the issue of one source of truth for digital assets and asset sharing. It will streamline the process information is maintained for easy access. With a repeatable structure, we are not reinventing the wheel with each new asset. Version control will help to prevent costly mistakes and consumer disinformation.
A reliable, tailored file management system solution
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder team build for us the custom asset library, brand guidelines, and workflow tool that enables our business to run smoothly remotely. Our assets are instantly available to remote teams and external partners globally.
What do you dislike about the product?
As there are lots of app and system updates taking place around the clock, sometimes the Support team takes longer than expected to revert.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We required a cloud system that would enable our remote global designers to work hand-in-hand on various type of creative assets from print to digital to images to videos. The assets are smoothly pushed through from the workflow tool to the asset library. Our teams can then easily browse the assets and create collections for further distribution and sharing. We also host our brand guidelines on the Bynder site.

Would prefer even more customization of the look and feel.

Allows us to easily share assets in multiple languages across Europe.
Bynder is brining sanity and order to a broad array of our creative assets.
What do you like best about the product?
The feature that has by far saved the most time and unlocked some of our quickest efficiency is the taxonomy (or upload) presets. We can append an incredibly detailed level of information at the click of a button. Cumulatively this shaves hours off of inputting repeat data.
I can't mention the preset without mentioning the incredible control we have to customize and create an immensely detailed taxonomy for our assets. The taxonomic meta-data we append to our files, combined with the highly useful search filters makes it incredibly efficient to parse many different kinds of files. Our company uses Bynder for much more than just photography. We upload working files, documents, audio, video, illustration, and icons.

The same amazing feature that I love for uploading our assets internally, the customizable upload presets, is not supported for approving external submissions to our DAM. This means we have to input repeat information hundreds of times because presets are enabled in this flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is solving the problem of version control for assets. We can account for every piece of creative and remove or archive duplicates very quickly. It is impossible for files to hide or get lost when we append the correct data and tags to them.
Bynder is also proving to be a brand-guideline hub that enables us to direct multiple teams to the assets that they need. We are storing all of our brand specs here as live pages that are easily sharable to all audiences.
We will soon be using Bynder to store and catalog directly within Adobe using their LinkRUI connector, opening up incredible collaborative efficiencies for the team.
