Very Robust DAM. Super Helpful and Friendly Staff!
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has way more functionality than I expected going into the training process. The power and versatility are impressive. Just about anything you wish it could do, it can. Francine, who helped us with implementation and training was unbelievably friendly, patient and helpful. I can't give her enough praise! Our clients are already utilizing the system to find documents and making comments about how useful and comprehensive it is. I'm hoping after the front-end increase in workload to get our documents loaded, it will help relieve the burden of frequent document requests/searches that are emailed direclty to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of Bynder's best features -- it's versatility -- is also one of its most daunting aspects. There are SO many menus and features that it can definitely be overwhelming during implementation and traning. You get a lot of information thrown at you in a very short time, and it's difficult to absorb it all. Fortunately, Bynder records and posts all the training sessions so you can go back and re-learn how to do certain things if necessary. There's also a big up-front committment to uploading documents. After 25 years at my organization, I have tens of thousands of files. Trying to sift through them, upload them, tag them with all the taxonomy, etc. is extremely tedious and time consuming -- at least in our case and the way our files are ogranized. That's not Bynder's fault, really, but it is something to keep in mind -- it's not going to magically populate itself with documents. They do have some automation aides, but they don't really help that much for our situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our organization grows exponentially in size both geographically and personnel-wise, the number of emails asking, "Can you send me all the documents you have for X/Y service line" or "Please send me the logos for X/Y" or other similar requests have increased dramatically. Also, the sheer number of documents has increased to the point that it's nearly impossible for one person to know what's currently available, what's been kept up-to-date, etc. Having the DAM should not only allow clients to search for documents via service line, region, facility, it will also allow them to find and download frequently requested items, such as logos and brand standards. It should also help us keep documents accurate and up to date, as they'll be easily reviewable online by our clients at any time -- especially as personnel turnover brings in new staff who may not know all the documents we have available if it weren't for Bynder.

Bynder as a DAM
What do you like best about the product?
We use Bynder as our main DAM. Bynder is slowly becoming the source of truth for all thighs assets company wide. This year we went through a major taxonomy refresh and improved our filtering system. What I really like about Bynder is the ease of finding assets when you have a good filtering system in place. The results get smaller and smaller with the more filters one selects; and with just a few clicks, one can get to the assets they were looking for. Also, our success managers and onboarding team were always hands on, and anytime something had to be changed or wasn't quite the way we wanted, they managed to find a solution for the problem. Overall, I'm really satisfied with Bynder. And compared to a couple of years back when I first started using it, I can definitely see that there has been a big improvement to the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we ask for some specific changes that we would like to implement, sometimes these updates aren't possible to be excuted from Bynder's side. And this can be quite frustrating as this could be game changer for our specific business.
I think it would be great if Bynder gave the option to work with engineers directly to implement these changes. Since I believe other customers would likely benefit from them as well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is a great tool to distribute assets with other parties. For instance we use it for internal as well as external purposes. And we know that this is a very safe way to send out assets. Also having the option to create different levels and groups to restrite what can be viewed is really beneficial. Lastly, it's also great to have the option to archive assets, since people aren't able to access them once they've been archived.
Bynder Portal Migration
What do you like best about the product?
Although as a business we have been using Bynder for awhile already, we've just completed a migration project with the Bynder Onboarding Team (@BjornBurger and @ShellyBiro) involving some of our brands. I've been involved in quite a few system projects over 25 years in the travel industry and I can honestly say that I've never had a project run so smoothly and completed so quickly as this with 50,000+ assets migrated onto Bynder in 6 weeks from first conversations to completion. Really pleased with the project and can only speak highly of the 2 onboarding members at Bynder (Bjorn Burger and Shelly Biro).
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, there's nothing that I dislike about using Bynder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply making everything quick and easy to have content published online to our websites
An application that was well thought out
What do you like best about the product?
How there is flexibility in how you can arrange your files and folders. I also enjoy the tagging and linking to Figma.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think if there was more upfront way to import your files from Gdrive to make the transition easier it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility across different locations
Bynder is excellent choice when looking for DAM and Studio for quick and easy content adaptation
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is an intuitive and robust Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform that excels in usability and customization. One of its standout advantages is that it doesn’t require an admin with an IT background. Instead, a business-focused individual with a solid understanding of internal processes can effectively manage the system, making it highly accessible for non-technical teams. The interface is user-friendly, allowing quick adoption, and the platform offers extensive customization options, but we are note there yet.
update: After 18 months of using Bynder as our DAM, we decided to add Bynder Studio—and the onboarding experience was excellent.
Sven, our Studio expert, was a standout partner throughout the process. His deep knowledge of the module and ability to quickly understand our use cases helped us configure Studio in a way that truly fits our workflows. He consistently offered smart, practical recommendations and guided us toward the most effective setup.
Carina, our onboarding manager, kept the entire project running smoothly. She provided clear structure, communicated proactively, and made sure every step moved forward without delays. Her organization and support made the onboarding feel easy and well-coordinated.
Overall, the onboarding was fast, professional, and genuinely helpful. Thanks to the combined expertise of Sven and Carina, we were able to get Studio up and running confidently. A great experience that reinforced our decision to expand our Bynder ecosystem.

What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its strengths, Bynder does have some challenges. The initial implementation can be costly and time-intensive, which may be a hurdle for smaller organizations. While the platform is intuitive for basic use. Occasionally, there are performance issues, particularly when managing large volumes of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing assets and their distribution to the markets & adaptation
Great experience using Bynder
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that if a file that is linked to Bynder on your website is replaced in Bynder, the link will automatically redirect to the new file. No need to update in your cms.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it is not categorized correctly, it can get very overwhelming.

I think there is a less help documents and video tutorials for someone like fresher wants to understand Bynder properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage all our assets in one place, eliminating the need for multiple systems for asset management. If any application requires an asset, we can simply share its URL, allowing easy access
Effective DAM tool for in-house teams
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to upload photo and video with enhanced tagging, usage details and more, to collaborate across our organization. The process is not cumbersome and the UI is friendly enough for the less tech savvy to understand and access it. We are using it to unify efforts across apparel, product, corporate, social, and marketing teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to better organize folders and structures by photo/video -- and to automatically deprecate assets that have usage rights that have expired (vs. just marking them as archivable)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have new assets every month -- and need a simple and easy distribution method across our entire organization that allows the to search exactly what they are looking for. Bynder saves us time because folks don't need to ask our team to source photo or video.
