Memsource is a very user friendly online tool. Cross platforms editor is convenient.
What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to use. Just spend a little time and you can start to work with this great online CAT. The local editor can be used on all major platforms. Unlike most other CAT that only support Windows, this attracts more Mac translators to use the tool. Fast response customer support is another advantage for Memsource. Most questions usually are answered in less than two hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hope the subscription can be more flexible. During the one-year subscription, sometimes we may have a short-term (less than 3 months) project that needs many linguists so one additional PM account is needed. But the additional PM account cannot be subscripted for 2 or 3 months, it has to be subscripted till the end of your one-year subscription. This increases a lot of our cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing TM and TB with different linguists in a project is a huge advantage for an online tool. With this function, inconsistent translations can be greatly reduced.

Awesome in-context translation feature
What do you like best about the product?
The in-context translation features allows precise translations within the user interface. No need for double-checking translations in the UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great to see the translation memory being integrated in the in-context editor. This would take the whole translation process to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are integrating the whole UI-translation into our development process. Thereby, we get rid of process bottlenecks and start the translation as early as possible.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product is very helpful. One problem is that not many companies use it, but that should change in the mid-term.
Solid, accessible CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the editing bench, which requires a very short learning curve
What do you dislike about the product?
Fairly complex settings, would like a simple setting by template system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Job allocation, having a shared TM
Very intuitive TMS with great connectivity to multiple repositories
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is easy to configure and master, the interface is clean and user friendly. The off-the-shelf connectors and Submitter Portals are very easy to set up, providing integrations with multiple tools ad repositories. It's cloud based, so can be accessed from anywhere. The web-editor has all the basic features you'd require from a CAT tool and is very intuitive as well, so the learning curve for new users is really very short. It's also great to see that Phrase 's crew is very open to suggestions and eager to implement new features required by the customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are a bit limiting (like Continuous jobs analysis or the way of managing TMs in the project for each language individually), but it's good to see Phrase is open to the feedback and it's work in progress, every time we've come up with the suggestion or feature request, Phrase would take it seriously. Per word usage might be a bit limiting and hard to foresee upfront, but luckily Phrase is very flexible with the options to top it up.
The LQA options can be improved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated integrations with our new CMS and centralized most of our localization workflows in one tool - that's the main benefit, as it provides great control and time saving. The linguists also enjoy working with it, and the acceptance is higher than with other tools. We've kept adding new workflows and repositories over the years. It allowed us to fully automate our localization process integrating it with all the CMS that our company is using, and brining all the localization process under one umbrella.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool, if you need a cloud-based and user-friendly tool, but bear in mind the limitations it has for more complex and customized workflows setup.
Excellent tool, great support
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Quick ramp-up from the development team to start using the contents from the tool. Also, the company has always been prompt to help whenever we had questions or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment from a development standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We actually did not fully deploy a solution yet but we could successfully use it as a means to perform translations and generate assets for our customer's Android and iOS apps in 4 different languages, including variations among them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just start using the trial version from the Phrase web site to get a feeling about its capabilities.
Love Phrase and their CLI
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations with GitHub and GitLab as well as the CLI
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited possibility to analyze integration errors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translation of our product into 5-10 different languages
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it!
Simplify the collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The Figma plugin allows translations to be easily initiated and become usable already in the design process, which means an enormous relief for the graphic designers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our developers criticize that in Figma the key name is not visible, which makes the assignment a bit more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The work in a table is omitted in favor of a meaningful tool. This greatly simplifies collaboration.
Great developer experience, easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
From the developers point of view, Phrase offers some nice functionalities and it is easy to implement in the code. From the translators point of view, In-context editor is an impressive feature that make their life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being that there are a lot of things to document, the documentation may get a bit messy and you can get lost in them trying to find what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In-context editor is an extremely nice feature that allows the translators to translate their keys directly on the website, and have a live feeling of how the website looks like.
