Easy to use and affordable
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and affordable. Can upload bulk files with translations and connect Phrase keys to design tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think design can be improved but it is not too much of a hassle, I've seen much worse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Catering for multiple languages on a mobile app.
Highly responsive and effective CAT tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the tool is so simple to use. I have used other CAT tools, but this was by far the easiest to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the QA can be a little difficult to understand. Plus, some of the MT solutions cause problems. Also, it's difficult translating PDFs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just working quickly and effectively. I have completed many tasks with a quick turnaround time with Memsource.

Absolutely - it makes the world of CAT tools, which can be so confusing, much more accessible.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how smooth the user experience is! It rarely lags and has always been reliable with its built-in auto-saving features. In addition, during the 2 years of my experience with it, the software is regularly patched with new features and swift bug fixes. 10/10 will recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Maybe the subscription fee can be a bit much for me if I'm working as a freelancer in the translation industry, I'd say. Luckily, I work as an in-house translator so my employer covers that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Memsource on localization/translation cases, which is required by the translation agency. I found my efficiency improved a lot when using this CAT tool for its easy-to-use and efficient user interface design.

What do you like best about the product?
Memsource is a very user-friendly tool, for companies and translators with simple needs who still want to be able to get a lot of functionality. It does just what it needs without overloading the interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any tool, you need to put in the work if you want it to work for you in the best possible way, so there can be a lot of settings to tweak. But it's nothing you don't have to do with other CAT tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to use for both document processing and translation, which can really help streamline work. There is a lot less messing about than with some other, more complicated tool. And the pricing is good too!

It depends on your needs, but it is definitely an option that is worth considering over more well-known, more expensive competitors. They really work with you.
Simple but Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
QA is great. Syncronizarion in real time is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface is a little bit dull. needs some colour.

It has all the features I need. Simple and free from translators.
Perfect for Mac Users
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Memsource has a great native Mac app. Prior to this, I had to use a virtual machine with Windows to access CAT tools and although I had a decent computer, it struggled, and therefore I also struggled. It gave me great pleasure to get rid of MS completely and stick to using the Apple OS I wanted. I use both the app itself and the browser version and find them both straightforward to use. Memsource helps me with my productivity and accuracy. I can even use it on my phone in an emergency, though I prefer a large screen and proper keyboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't missing anything as far as I can see. When I first started using it, there was a short learning curve as I adapted to it from my previous software, but I don't think there's any difference now between that and the main competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memsource helps me with my consistency and accuracy. It stops me from omitting anything by mistake, and helps me focus better than a regular page of Word might do. When I first started using a CAT tool, I didn't enjoy it. Now I can't imagine my daily working life without it!

Do it. It works.
Very simple to use, even for those who have never used CAT tools before
What do you like best about the product?
Time is valuable, and not having to spend a lot of time learning how to use new software is excellent. Memsource offers time-saving options while being very intuitive. In less than a day, you will learn how to use it and become comfortable with it, which makes it a really good choice for those who have never used translation tools before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I sometimes have to deal with when working from home is the loss of internet connection. Since Memsource is a primarily online tool, this means that without the internet you won't be able to do everything as you normally would. However, even if something happens to your connection, you can continue translating and typing until your internet connection comes back. Luckily, no work will be lost, but not all functions will be available without an internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memsource can assist you with the quick formatting of text and placement of tags, it will show you where you can reuse previously saved segments, and it allows the use of your translation memories and term bases. There are also various filters and options available.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can use the TM but also search for specific terms. The QA is also helpful to spot errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
That we have to use external forms to report errors/issues, it would be better if we were allowed to use the comments. The LQA phase too is a little awkward - no score given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using TM to help translate faster, therefore achieving a quicker output.
Working with Memsource is a very pleasant experience
What do you like best about the product?
The organization of the projects and the ease of viewing the status of all of them. I am also delighted with all the options it offers. Without a doubt I feel very comfortable working with Memsource.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any downside when using Memsource. Occasionally the service has experienced some slowdowns but fortunately, they have always been resolved fairly quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our tool for game localization. Memsource offers us everything we need for this task. By having everything centralized, our productivity has improved significantly.

What do you like best about the product?
Memsource is extremely smooth to work with. The termbase and translation memory are easily searchable, and the filtering function makes it easy to achieve consistency. And the fact that I can choose to open all files at the same time, or just one or a few files in the same project, is simply awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any downsides to this product, apart from a few glitches when new functions are being added and tested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that Memsource is always compatible with the latest version of InDesign etc. means that I don't have to pay for costly upgrades to work on a specific assignment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compared to other translation tools I have tried, Memsource is far more intuitive and user-friendly. The fact that you log into a database instead of installing an actual application on your computer means that you always have access to all the latest updates, and don't need to make costly upgrades to be able to translate the latest versions of InDesign etc.
