So far Memsource is very good and has been able to do everything I have needed it to.
What do you like best about the product?
As an engineer, I really like the customer support. They are very friendly and always go above and beyond. All of my questions have been answered thoroughly. There really aren't any problems I haven't been able to solve.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it seems like everything is working well. There is room for improvement in some minor areas, but they are working on it and make updates quickly.
Some of the areas:
- Creating jobs and assigning providers with altered workflow steps in a project template can be not super easy
- I have heard we have been having some issues with scalability with very large projects. But I understand this is being worked on and is not prohibitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the flexibility of the API. It allowed me to make a very complete connection between Memsource and Workfront with many features. Our internal customers are very happy.
Great tool to enable Localization Managers and Software Engineers to work together more closely!
What do you like best about the product?
With Phrase it's fairly easy to import and export translation memories or term bases and offers sufficient customization options to allow translation managers to work across different systems and platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, a few design-related hiccups make the editor a little less accessible, like the inability to view term bases and suggestions at the same time. Other CAT tools are still a bit more advanced in that regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create branches for each project makes it easier to work with a large number of keys and implement more complex fixes for each locale. This way, they can be reviewed properly before applying them to actual software and risking potential corruption of the product.
Great CAT Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Helped improve translation efficiency and reduce errors tremendously, especially the TM feature. Very user-friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if the system works better with "tracked changes" in Word, and also if the system is "smarter" for PDF analysis and formatting.

Translation management streamlined.
The perfect solution for multi-language setup
What do you like best about the product?
The performance for cloud-based translation is unmatched at the moment. The other alternatives are usually either too simple that they lack lots of functionality or are either too bloated with complex solutions. I think Memsource managed to find the right spot. In a multilanguage setup, the "More" tab has been a great addition. To be able to see the solution from other languages and take inspiration from it has been really helpful in creative translation.
What do you dislike about the product?
No night mode yet! I feel night mode is a necessity to work late at night in the dark. I also think a better integration between termbase and the editor is very welcomed. To be able to add source words in TB without having to leave the editor window will massively improve productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a video game linguist, creative translation is the major part of the work. The best feature of Memsource for me is that I can see what other languages come up in translations and I can take inspiration from it.
Can't live without it!
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource enables seamless translation and editing work, wherever you are. I've been using it for nearly 5 years and rarely had any problems. They have been updating the Memsource editor (web and desktop) a lot recently and all the updates have been very useful for us. Before using Memsource, my peer workers recommended other CAT, but Memsource was the easiest to use and I liked the fact that it's cloud-based (which means you don't need to buy the whole package, which can be quite costly). Now, I use Memsource even for really short translations because I just can't live without it! Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still don't understand how the tags are arranged. Probably the system has difficulty in arranging tags in non-alphabet languages. Another problem is that the system treats exactly the same sentences as different when they are in different typefaces (by using italics and bold, etc.). I want the system to treat them as the repetition or alert about the typeface in a different symbol.

You can work on your translation both online and offline, wherever you are.
Easy workflow & helpful tools for our Translations!!
What do you like best about the product?
Very clean and beautiful interface! Figma plug-in is highly valuable for our UX designer and translators.
Workflow is very easy by creating projects and adding contributors! Can't wait to see how our team will improve the velocity with this new tool!

Nothing much... Maybe csv is by default and we have to reformat our files beforehand

Easy, fast and flexible for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to quickly obtain translations for micro UX copy in multiple languages. We need to be able to submit relatively small orders as well as larger ones, and Phrase is flexible enough to have this happen quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major! Getting started isn't as intuitive as it could be for new users – we find people need a tutorial and some hand holding to get things moving initially, but after this we find most of what we need to do is covered. The ability to perform bulk actions like verifications could be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned, we need to be able to submit a 1-word order or a 100-word order and be sure they're both treated as rapidly and thoroughly as each other. Phrase gives us this.
Fast, easy, and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Phase is easy to use while making organizing and translating multiple languages very simple. File uploading is intuitive and fast, allowing for new languages to be added quickly. We can easily coordinate with a global team to assign translations, see activities, and ensure quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a little higher than desired and when changing the subscription plan, some features were still available that caused accounts to be locked. This is probably an unusual experience.

We have global applications with various language needs. Phrase allows us to organize the translations, see what we are missing, and enables our staff to quickly find and translate strings.
Amazing software for the translation industry
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource is a great software for translation and Project Management. It offers a great number of tools and allows many options to set up projects and communicate between vendors and companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the interface is quite clear, having pop-ups with extra information would be nice for tools that are not often used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memsource addresses communication between linguists and companies in a very quick and efficient way. Just by having a user, you can access many functionalities that are atomized in a single software.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility, the integrations with figma and excel. It's super easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Tua fact that I can't change a word translation at once in all the strings. The suggestions part sometimes fail to give all the strings between diff projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all the translations there, the search bar makes my work easy and the automatic change every time I need. I'm more productive right now and don't spend too much time with such tasks
