Intuitive platform and amazing features
What do you like best about the product?
TMS is a very intuitive platform with unique features that provide the user with tools to realize each job quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Assigning tasks manually can be pretty overwhelming sometimes. The platform takes a long time to process each input.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform can handle large projects and allows them to be executed by multiple translators.
Extremely helpful, time-saving tool
What do you like best about the product?
The translation memory is, in general, very accurate, which helps reduce correction and actual translation times. It has become a key tool for our work team, as it allows us to correctly translate and deliver assignments more expediently than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The machine will sometimes pre-translate the same acronym differently across the document, but I understand that is to be expected from an AI-generated translation document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Longer documents can be done faster and more efficiently, with better display options to better see segments, phrases and terms. This allows more time to read more thoroughly and improve on the final product.
Very convenient CAT Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very convenient tool. It is very easy to search the text by combining the filter and the search function with the underline. The use of the concordance is simple and immediate and applying the TM is very fast thanks to the keyboard shortcuts (contrary to other very famous tools).
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of "power" is given to agencies, which can greatly limit translators' access to various features, such as analyses, TMs and termbases. The quality of the MT is not up to par with Google's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the fastest translation tool, I have direct access to the projects that the agencies have prepared for me, without having to manage packages, receive and send them.

What do you like best about the product?
It's straight forward and easy to use. All the data is there for me to see. It's easy to send and download projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that when I login it shows my region as Europe, I tried to change it to US but it wouldn't let me log in and dont know how to fix it.

That my content is being leveraged and saves me money.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that students get exposed on how a TMS works. This is an unvaluable experience for them for it helps them acquire skills that will be applicable in their professional journey as they study translation. As they use the tool, they quickly realize the importance of learning a TMS and how much it helps them do translations in a user-friendly environment that not only help them improve on the quality of their translation, but also facilitates the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I find difficult in this tool is managing users and applying a configuration that suits the knowledge they have on the tool or the level of access that I need to provide them. Bulk editing functions and templates on user management would help me a lot with configuring and modifying their accounts. Understandably, my needs as a teacher are different from those of professionals handling access to the tool, so I find it justifiable to have these limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase TMS mainly helps me expose my students to TEnTs, a very important technological aspect in educating a translation professional. These tools have become ubiquous in the field and students need to be prepared to use them without fear or hesitation.
Phrase is my students' favorite CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase tries to cover all angles. It is intuitive to use, the learning curve is steep. When I demonstrate this cloud-based CAT environment to my students it only takes a few minutes to get them up and running. At the same time - if you are willing to bury yourself deeper into the settings - it has all the cogs and wheels for very advanced projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that makes me grumble once in a while is the constant evolution of the product. Naturally, that is a good and inevitable thing that applies to any successful software. It's really not a complaint, just an occasional sigh of a user who has to keep up and learn all the new and amazing stuff :-).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach CAT courses at a university. I try to show students a variety of existing products with all their similar and unique functionalities. Phrase TMS is fully cloud-based but also offers offline functionality via its Desktop Editor. Students like its convenience, uncluttered intuitive interface, and general ease of use. At the same time, it's a full-fledged CAT suite that can be used for advanced team projects. Thanks to the Phrase academic licensing program we are able to create a simulated LSP environment as close to real life as it gets. Thanks Phrase!
Reliable, fast and easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is the best cat tool to use and learn. Tgere are free courses on how to learn as well as a free certified user where you can set for test online anywhere ans any time

The desktop editor must works at the same time with the cloud

Memsource is a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource has a great interface that makes translating easy. As a CAT Tool, it is especially rapid when we combine it with our company's internal AI tool. I enjoy the fact that Memsource offers training for people to become experts users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had to contact the Memsource tech guys a few times last year to obtain help with errors in the software. Thankfully, there are less problems now. But it can be a challenge for first-time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memsource can be a good choice compared to other CAT tools if you are starting a translation business and are not yet sure what CAT tool to use. This simplifies project management if you combine it with a time management tool like Plunet.
Very good experience translating with Memsource so far
What do you like best about the product?
The pre-translated segments are usually well translated already, saving me a lot of time. I find the user interface very friendly and easy to sue.

I have not spotted anything I dislike so far
