Fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
Its powerful yet simple to use and scales pretty well. We use it across multiple software development teams and have it integrated into our CI and it works quite well for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be easy to create too many keys, some eventually get duplicated or unused. Some tooling around key reuse and cleanup would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've successfully made content delivery to the software delivery process agile by giving content creators the time needed to work out the right content to use as well as making it available across multiple languages without requiring a full handoff before software implementation can start
Reliable and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
PhraseApp is efficient and easy to collaborate. Responsibilities can be split between teams/stakeholders and everyone can keep track of translations.
The integration options are especially helpful and time-saving for developers.
Customer support was always extremely nice and helpful as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a small thing, but I do miss the capability of checking on the UI which translations have been pushed (rather than just seeing "X many keys were changed")
It would also be nice to have Gitlab integration (as there is for Github).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We keep track of 4 different languages so far and PhraseApp definitely has made the translation process easier, faster and more reliable.
Lost data,-great recovery
What do you like best about the product?
We lost some of our data (totally our own fault) and didn't realize we lost the data for a month. The PhraseApp team were incredibly helpful in restoring data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints, easy to work with and new IT staff can learn how to use the app quickly

Managing multiple translations and back translations

What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the most easy apps for translations thatI have ever seen. It's very intuitive and yo can see in one view what you need to translate within each group. In addition, organizing the labels using different projects helps you to structure the content.
What do you dislike about the product?
General view of the projects shows you how the translations are in general, but it should show you only how they are in your spacific market. This would help you to find new content instead of look for it one by one.
On the other hand, projects should be deployed authomatically after saving changes, instead of having to publish one by one on purpouse. Within environments where one is the owner, but others translate the labels, publishing them quickly could be difficult.

Everything is more structured. Easy to translate when you have mor than 2 languages.

It just works without fail, very easy to setup and use.
Phraseapp Team is very responsive and keep adding new features.
Pricing is fair which makes Phraseapp a no brainer for us.

Our team didn't have any issue over the last years and years we use Phraseapp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phraseapp allows us to maintain our apps text in many languages.
Very flexible to updates translations by non-dev via the context visual editor or the Phraseapp app.
Machine translation is awesome and in general the UI to search keys is great, super fast.
Phraseapp also allows to view history and easily roll back changes if needed.

Quick and easy integration with git, great support for most file formats and translation libraries, the awesome interface for the content creators and a very good documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of an SDK for the Vue JS framework and better onboarding experience for the content team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a quick solution to replace our in-house translation management system, one that was easy to set up and easy to use by our content and marketing team and that will allow us to quickly add new locales to our websites.
PhraseApp is the perfect fit for us, the content team loved the UI from the start, the setup without our application was extremely easy and adding a new locale is very easy and fast thanks to their autopilot feature and translation services.

If your team/company is currently looking for a translation management solution and you are not sure if PhraseApp is what you need, just try it! It will take less than an hour to set up and test all of its features and just reach to their team because they respond very quickly.

• It could be a bit quicker to search for a key, it takes like three clicks to come to a search field for a key

Easy navigation menu to see your open tasks. Double menu to see the proposed changes or the reviews.

Sometimes there are is so much information on the screen it can be distracting.

So far I haven't found downsides in using PhraseApp.

Translating has become very simple and even fun!
For every task I can see the change history, leave a comment, tag a colleague and even see the translation memory so I can translate faster and more fluid.

I highly recommend it! PhraseApp is beginner-friendly while having a lot of great features that makes working simpler and faster.

Ideal for outsourcing the translation of your product
What do you like best about the product?
PhraseApp is intuitive and fast (which was not the case with our previous tool). PhraseApp is very handy when you want to collaborate on the translation of your product.
Reporting (words, translation progress, jobs, ...) are also great.

What do you dislike about the product?
When translating (and playing with several locales ), it would be great to improve the highlighting of the edited locale, the source locale and the key. Sometimes, It can happen to translate into the bad local, or mix the key with the source translation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We outsource the translation of our platform and Phraseapp allows us to communicate with our translation provider.
Every month we create jobs by locale that we assign to translators.
These jobs allow us to follow the progress of the translations, even to provide context when the translator needs it.
These jobs also serve us as a purchase order (completion deadline, number of words, ...).
In short, the benefits are the automatization and the Industrialization of our translations.
