Phrase is a wonderful & user-friendly translation management system for projects online
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy and intuitive to use Phrase. I just logged in and started to work with it from the beginning without any instruction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downside of using Phrase. Only thing I had was the size of the window of the original text, I contacted them regarding this matter and they got back to me immediately. The Phrase team seem to be open to feedbacks and are willingly to improve, which I am very impressed and appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I translate a website from German and English to Japanese. For natural and fluent translation, one needs to be aware of contexts as well as meanings of original texts and Phrase is just perfectly made for it. I can work efficiently with Phrase. If there is a mistake, it is easy to spot it and correct it, too. There is a comment section to leave messages or questions to other translators, so it is optimized for a good team work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an efficient and user-friendly tool for translation projects online, I recommend Phrase 100%, for it works wonderfully. It is so innovative and has overturned my image of translation positively.
Easy to use and integrate
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer I really like the ease of use and integration. Good choice of options to import your current translations, that covers 99% of the cases available out there. The configuration file is easy to setup and use. The CLI and related documentation come in very handy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the Jobs flow improved a little to make it a seamless process of assigning and approval of jobs before making it live. On the other hand it is nice to see how little friction there is at the moment to make a change fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed to avoid a code deployment for content changes. The interface helps involve the parties responsible for the translations. The process of making a change has become a lot more transparent from the person requesting it to the time it becomes available to the consumer.

What do you like best about the product?
Seemless software integration with react-intl.
What do you dislike about the product?
Manual creation of new translations is very tedious. I would prefer a more automated solution to upload newly created translation entries.

It makes it easy to implement language dependent copy in our apps.

I would say that big project can be difficult to manage and keep track of.

We could simply call the Phrase API to get the latest translated contents from all of our countries.
Intuitive and practical
What do you like best about the product?
How easily projects and multiple languages are portrayed, as well as already translated and unverified translations. I also really like the "suggestions" tab and how it's possible to see images for context.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish the translation box would have a word/character counter, as that's something that I need to take care on whenever I'm translating for web/mobile apps.

It helps me to translate applications, email marketing templates, website pages and much more.

It's totally worth giving it a try, considering how useful, clean, and intuitive Phrase is.
You should start using Phrase on the first day you create a app.

Phrase is beginner-friendly and well-documented. It certainly makes our localization working a lot easier and allows fast communication with our team. It's super easy to use, and every member of our team can use it. It has saved lots of time when we doing localization.

So far I haven't found any shortcomings in using Phrase. If I have to say one, I wish there is a Phrase desktop app.

Before using this product, almost most of the localization work can only be done by engineers. Now, each of our members can use Phrase to finish localization tasks!

Localization is a complicated issue, and you should choose a good tool on the first day of starting an international project.
Collaborative tool for UX Writing and localisation
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy and intuitive tool.
I'm able to add comments, share screenshots and images and tag keys. My colleagues and I are able to collaborate in the best and most useful way by verifying each others copy, commenting on it if necessary, and providing enough context (description, max. characters, variables, images, comments). I also like to be able to track changes and see how text resources change over time.

I don't think there is much to dislike :)
Smaller things, like, when I add keys to a screenshot and go back I end up at the home screen, instead of the last key I added...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with remote colleagues and freelance translators, POs and developers, sharing info on copy and getting feedback quickly.
Next thing I want to try is the phrase sketch plugin to improve my collaboration with the design colleagues.

Give it a try and see how easy it can be to collaborate when working on smaller copy and many text resources.
The perfect tool to gert your website or app translated to other languages.
What do you like best about the product?
The features I like the most with this tool is the suggestions tab, where you can easily retrieve and copy some similar contents you have previously translated. I also really like the way you can easily communicate with colleagues (content managers, fellow translators, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides I can think of with this tool is how it can get low with loading contents over the time, but it has a solution, just refresh your Phrase page.

With Phrase, I have been translated pages and pages of content from my client's website, and it has made me save e substantial amount of time with all its useful features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have use various CAT tools, but none of them were as efficient and easy to use, moreover, the support team is incredibly reactive, so don't hesitate any further, you definitely should give it a go!
Definetly a need if you are handling with localization.

I love the ease of use for this tool. Everything is very simple and there. You can understand what to do by looking at it.

Notification Options are a bit strange. I'd like to have notifications options for the keys I create it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing our apps localizations through PhraseApp. Also, using some of the apis to pull and push some new keys to Phrase which is very cool.

Great web tool to manage all your locale files and have a common place to deal with localization. A lot of formats and integrations supported
