The easy, professional and low cost solution to CAT Tools.
What do you like best about the product?
Pricing and ease of implementation. I could train my team to use it in a few minutes, and it simplies our work and helps improve the results for our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to understand the parameters for repetitions and analysis. We contacted customer service and I have the impression that even them did not know how it works. They gave us answers that do not correspond to the questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our experience with Phrase has been great. As a leader in the language services industry, we were looking for a good solution that could streamline our translation workflows. We were a bit frustrated with the high price of most of the other tools in the market, some are beyond expensive and seem too complicated as well.
Great features and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
After using several different translation/localization/review tools for over 15 years, Phrase is my favorite. I like the easy access to some tools like concordance search, the CAT tool information on the right side of the screen (which allows me to see the glossary terms and previous translations very quickly), and the filter / search & replace functions, which work as soon as I type a word and let me make any changes right there. The navigation is also excellent -- I can always continue where I left off, and jump to any segment whenever I need.
The workflow is also very straightforward, which makes it easy to work with a team. Overall, I think it has the best features of some 'heavier' desktop tools, with the speed and convenience of a cloud-based solution where everything is always up to date.
I started using it as a team leader a few months ago, and it didn't disappoint, either... I can create and manage projects & tasks easily, as well as update TM's and term bases; the analysis tool can get as detailed as I need it to be; and the price is very competitive, too.
I am very happy with Phrase, and look forward to continue using it for a long time. Keep up the good work!

What do you dislike about the product?
I started using Phrase TMS a few months ago, and the pricing/usage structure has been difficult to understand. It's easy to reach the limits of managed words and MT use, and the higher tiers are much more expensive than what I need at the moment. Some in-between options or easier top-ups would be good (and it would be even better to have a pricing structure similar to what it was in the past, where I didn't have to worry about usage limits).
As for the localization platform, one of the only things that have felt 'complicated' or 'not as good as in other tools' is the whay tags are handled -- they are usually in the incorrect order in pre-translated content, and there are always issues with spacing around the tags. I like how the keyboard shortcut works to insert the next tag automatically, but it would be easier if the tags appeared in the right order / with the right spacing from the beginning when the content is pre-translated or copied from the source.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very easy to create a new job/task with almost any kind of file, translate it on Phrase, and download the translated file in the same format & with the same layout as the original. From the translator's perspective, it's easy to work with a team and keep consistency by leveraging the TM, CAT suggestions, term bases, etc.

Does it get any better than Phrase?
What do you like best about the product?
I'd say that out of all the translation programs I've worked with this one has to be the one with the best layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that some features seem to be a bit unnecessary.

It delivers a seamless and efficient localization experience, with a user-friendly interface, robust features, and excellent integrations. The platform consistently meets the needs of both small and large-scale projects, making it a reliable choice for localization efforts.

Managing complex multilingual projects, ensuring consistency across translations, and integrating machine translation into workflows.

it is an intuitive platform without too many complicated features, the customer service is fast and they try to help you solve the problems you might have
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it doesn't work properly and I recently have had problems in taking the jobs I had to work on due to a bug that required almost 2 MONTHS to be fixed (..), with the result that I lost my work - and my money

it saves me a lot of time
Overall, it’s the most efficient tool I worked with

It's easy to use and navigate. I find the editor and TMS efficient in completing my tasks as a linguist and PM in your everyday work. I also like the number of features and the UI is clean and light.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I experienced minor glitches and after updates some UI elements don't work properly. I'd love to see more filtering options (e.g. select custom ranges etc.) and also redesigned approach to collaborative work for teams inside one organisation – the current commenting feature is quite limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platfor compared to competitors is faster and more convenient in all regards. I really like the possibility of keeping the consistency to ensure the highest level of quality.
