I recently had the opportunity to use the Twilio SendGrid Email API, and I'm impressed with its functionality and performance. One aspect that stands out is the pricing for dedicated servers, which I find to be expensive. This can be problematic as having access to this functionality is essential for preventing emails from ending up in recipients' spam folders. Lower-priced options for dedicated servers or alternative pricing models could make this service more accessible to a wider range of users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Twilio SendGrid Email API solves the problem of efficiently delivering notifications to our users through our SaaS platform. Prior to using Twilio SendGrid, we encountered challenges in reliably delivering email notifications to our users' inboxes. These issues affected our ability to effectively communicate with our users and ensure that important updates and notifications reached them in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Firstly, they offer start-up credits which is a big saviour for nascent stage businesses, their APIs are super efficient; they deliver email in fractions with accuracy. It's easy to configure and a layman can design and deploy the emailer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their email credit system usually has synchronization problem and that creates trouble for startups as they are blocked from sending emails all of a sudden.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send marketing emails, transactional emails with personalization, track the deliverables, understand the user behavior with their analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Connecting other platforms to Sendgrid and stopping worrying about deliverability has been critical to our company and marketing strategies, both on the sales and transactional emails sides. Now we can monitor the quality of our emails, connect new domains to our servers and be aware of their score.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of a steep learning curve for users who don't know about programming or marketing automation. It is not something severe, but it would be good if the platform were a little more friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sendgrid has solved our deliverability problem to a large extent. There is always the possibility of someone marking you as spam or bouncing in your inbox. However, Sendgrid manages to get the emails to our clients' inboxes ALWAYS

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Sendgrid from the past few years and for analytics we are using Hooks. We found it very relevant for our industry rather than any other product.
What do you dislike about the product?
We didn't find anything which was irrelevant for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We send tons of emails for our vendors and it helped a lot to us.

Twilio SendGrid Marketing Campaigns serves a dual purpose within our organization: It enables automated email delivery on the platform side and also facilitates the distribution of newsletters and other communications to customers by the marketing team. As a result, both the engineering and marketing teams rely on this tool. An important benefit of using this technology is that it allows the engineering team to seamlessly switch out emails as needed, which addresses a key business challenge.
What do you dislike about the product?

What do you like best about the product?
Easiest integration. We have integrated with Moengage and email campaigns via moengage with Sendgrid email API is seamless.

Compared to competitors, we find its easy to handle.

Better delivery as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
No cons as of now, as we find delivery is also great and integrations with multiple martech tools is also easy.

Seperate dashboard for emails spams would have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We send millions and millions of emails to isers across globe.
Integration with moengage helps us to segment users and send curated mails to all those users via API

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and integrations Twilio Sendgrid has to offer is just amazing, A/B testing is also good. I like how easy it is to track and change different aspects of emails based on performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to really dislike twilio but they could make improvements in the user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twilio SendGrid allows us to communicate with our clients through delivering emails in their inbox directly from our crm.

Multiple Issues When Upgrading Account

What do you like best about the product?
SendGrid's user interface is well-designed and easy to understand. However, the functionality available leaves a lot to be desired. Generally, the support staff seems knowledgeable but have given me many wrong answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been attempting to upgrade from a small volume plan with a shared IP pool to a large plan. We were told we could keep a shared pool but were later told after we signed an annual agreement that we'd been given the wrong information and would have to move to a Dedicated IP (we use the API plan not Marketing Campaigns). There was no guide on how to move from one plan to the other, and in reality it became a nightmare. What should have been automated by their system and their touted 'Automatic IP Warmup' in under 2 weeks, became a 6-9 week project and an additional sprint for my engineering team. We've been forced to manually warm our IP and change our software to regulate our send volume as their warming process does not work. I've spent almost 6 hours on chat sessions trying to troubleshoot issues with this product and have no dedicated rep to help me and have to speak to someone new every time.

Because we are under a time-crunch as our old ESP gets sunset (Dyn by Oracle) and we've already done the API implementation, we're forced to stay on this system. But if I had a choice, we would not.

SendGrid is our primary ESP for abandon cart emails and other action based triggered emails we send to our users.
