Zoom: Analysis about a software for video conference and calling
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom for video conferences: it was quite useful during the covid period, for job interviews by distance and connecting with friends and colleagues.
It's easy to download and use, quite similar to Microsoft Teams for live calling.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like so much the typical lag in audio/video, but I think it's a classic problem given by the internet connection or for an excess of connected people.
Probably I would also prefer more free minutes available, but it's not a serious defect.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for video conferencing in general and answering questions in job interviews by distance. It was useful because, during this period of Covid 19, you can do meetings and job interviews from your home, without going into an office. Another aspect is the possibility to connect more people easily compared to competitors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Deactivate the video if it's not necessary because you use too much connection, and it will be lag a lot.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely user friendly and easy to set up. Zoom makes meeting with people across the globe super easy and is more convenient and easier to use than Skype.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of glitches when joining meetings and getting kicked out of them seems to happen as well

Being able to have face to face meetings without being together in person is great during the pandemic

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly interface, ease of use, communication for group discussion and interviews. Can complete office conferences, meetings and seminars with ease using Zoom. Its video and audio quality are very good. Also, I can easily record the live sessions for future use and sharing. While doing meetings can share my screen and important files. Also, as a live audience it has a survey and question-answer option which is amazing to conduct team meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be pay as you go offer. Like if some small firms wants to do 2-3 meetings only Zoom can create packages targeting them. Other then this everything is perfect by Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For doing group discussions, having a Panel interview with candidates, and sharing and presenting my works with other colleagues I'm using Zoom. Also, conducting team meetings using it with our clients and vendors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for the most convenient and user-friendly app for your organization for communicating with the teams, arranging conferences and meetings, conducting interviews, Zoom is the best one to use.
Simple, Effective, but Connection Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I find Zoom Workplace to be incredibly simple and easy to use, which makes my experience seamless and efficient. The platform's functionality for video calls is particularly appealing, enabling me to communicate with colleagues as if we were face-to-face, which is invaluable for team interaction and collaboration. Additionally, the setup process was quick and straightforward, allowing me to get started with minimal effort and time, which is a significant benefit in maintaining productivity levels.

I sometimes find the connection is not great when video calling, which can disrupt the flow of communication.

I use Zoom Workplace for connecting and conference calls, enabling almost face-to-face communication. It's simple and easy to use, with video calls that are convenient, though connection issues can occur.

We love that zoom allows us to group communicate because sometimes we need to video call as a department and the best software to use is zoom.

there is nothing so far that our company can dislike about zoom since it very much meeting our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
group video conferencing is a dire need for most companies currently and zoom has this unique feature that enables our company to video call as a department and this has really impacted our company in that we can now hold online meetings as a department regardless of the location of a staff

video conferencing is the current trend in communication for most companies and for it to be effective there must be a reliable and default software for it which i recommend zoom and urge every company to give it a trial.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to connect with people virtually. This pandemic has made it really hard to stay in contact with people. Conducting people this way has been beneficial, with the ability to network online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Security protocols are hard to manage, like notification when someone is waiting to join the zoom meeting. Sharing host access with someone else, when you need to miss a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am now able to work from home and still contact clients and network virtually,

I can have facetime with colleagues from all over the world at all odd hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The meetings have a maximum capacity and is quite expensive to upgrade. I do not like the meeting ID and password being mandatory as well.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the user-friendly interface of Zoom. I can easily end a call, turn my video or microphone off/on, share my screen, or (if I am the host) start breakout rooms easily and quickly. I also appreciate that meetings can be either scheduled in advance or started quickly. If the meetings are scheduled in advance, I love the option to add it to my calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how complicated it is to access a recorded Zoom meeting. It would be helpful if this were a bit more streamlined or if there were additional information provided on where the recording can be accessed after ending the Zoom meeting. I would also like the ability to make simple edits to a recorded Zoom meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of having to work and attend school remotely. I am better able to collaborate with colleagues and fellow students without being in the same physical location. Zoom also enables me to attend and/or speak at virtual conferences and seminars to further my professional knowledge/expertise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Relevant for college students and older adults alike. Easy to learn and use. Would highly recommend.

Zoom meetings have helped solved the issue of worry about a venue to hold meetings and has helped reduce cost for venue arrangements

Sessions Meetings, Webinar are great options to explore along with meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can pin more parties now.. It is again non-interactive for Participants and we can only have limited interactive participants which is okay. Introduce Transcription in more languages and real time translation services

Easy to manage large meetings. Great experience on Video and Audio meetings in terms of Video clarity and bandwidth usage.
