Good software for setting up online professional meetings

What do you like best about the product?
This software is very user-friendly, reliable. It offers easy screen-sharing, good-quality video and audio calls. Besides, it allows up to 100 participants in each meeting. This software offers free 40-minute calls. However, for more than 40 minutes, you need to open a premium account. You can use a virtual background for a better privacy, when you are turning on your camera in the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only one person can be heard at a time in Zoom. In a typical zoom call, the audience is muted, and it is tough to get feedback from them. So, the speaker can not modify the speech (pausing, slowing down, etc.) based on the audience's reaction. When the number of users increases, the software tends to freeze, blur, etc.
A new update on this tool: It degraded in quality over time. It used to be so reliable for group calls. Now it is slower, and the video calls are in lower resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I basically used Zoom for a total of 18 months for setting up online professional meetings. My meetings were with my manager, co-workers, interviewers, and students (online classes). It is a very beneficial medium, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic era. It is very easy to set up, and it is highly secure.
I have also used the Zoom application to connect with my family members for personal use.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the amount of people that I can add on a call. I and my friends and colleagues can connect without even meeting in person and it really saved us throughout this unprecedented time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are that occasionally it would freeze up on my friend's end however that may have been due to internet connectivity issues. Also sometimes it would crash.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some problems that I have solved or with being able to help friends and coworkers by inadvertently being able to guide them through their screens when they need technological help or need help understanding concepts due to the screen sharing and drawing aspects of zoom.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For those looking at zoom, I would say take some time to learn the controls however once you figure them out it will be life-changing and much easier to use than the other screen sharing video conference apps especially Facebook video, Skype or things of the like.

What do you like best about the product?
This video/audio meeting app is best in the market I have ever seen. This also suits for vdi machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like stuck during the calls for no reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this app for daily video/audio meeting and presenting screen.

Conferencing and sharing made easy

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Zoom for years. More Companies use Zoom than any other conferencing software out there. Why? The platform is easy to use for even a beginner. The ability to set preferences for video, sound, screen size, chat, share screen are all available simply by clicking on the icon. At first glance, a new user may be a little intimidated; however, after just a few words of instruction from the Host, they are good to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing about Zoom I dislike is when you have a conference involving many attendees; it tends to lag or completely kick you out. You find yourself going back to your email to find the invite link and then wait for the Host to re-invite you in. It sometimes even happens if you have many programs open and your internet connection uses a lot of bandwidth. It can be frustrating. To get the best experience with Zoom, close any programs you are not using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is used by my Company daily. It brings us together for training, one on one conferencing, peer-to-peer activities such as doing mock calls, group meetings. It truly does make it simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom is a great tool and makes sharing easy!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom continues to set the standard with crisp video and consistent audio, even in lower-bandwidth environments. The layout is clean and easy to navigate. Zoom Team Chat, Whiteboard, and Calendar integration help centralize workflows with collaborative tools. Break out rooms an added plus for larger scale meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tools maybe redundant and add some confusion on what tool is best to use at what time, ie: Zoom Docs, Zoom Scheduler. The free plan restricts meetings to 40 minutes which is not optimal. Zoom has made improvements, concerns still are out there around data privacy and default settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
team collaboration effectively from almost anywhere from the globe and using an interface that is polished and user friendly as well as beneficial for future usage to be able to view past meeting recordings

What do you like best about the product?
The ease and comfort level using Zoom has not changed. though the usage was more during the pandemic, the same still continues

Sound quality and internet lag needs to improve

Zoom is great for business & entertainment alike!

What do you like best about the product?
More recently we've been using the interactive presentation features during business meetings. We really like how they add to the collaborative process and allow sharing of ideas Frequently when doing training presentations, I'll have participants draw on the screen while in whiteboard mode.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't crash so much any more. Though sometimes video wont come up and you have to log in and out and fiddle with settings to get it working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I reach a lot more clients, customers, and coworkers while working from home. I have used Zoom to demonstrate or teach software tools and skills to clients and coworkers that work remotely. I have use it during home hours to play fun games with friends during the pandemic remotely. We would get 8 of us to sign in and play Jackbox or have happy hour, and other fun activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a high powered computer system with good video card to avoid crashes. If you have a big event, make sure you test out everyones setup in advance.

Great way to communicate and review documents

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, and sharing documents is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any video program, it all depends on your Internet connection. If it is not very good, the quality will suffer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this program throughout the pandemic when doing client intakes and consults. The program is easy to use, clients like it, and it allows us to review documents with clients very quickly. Sometimes reviewing documents (such as contracts) on Zoom sharing screens is easier than in-person reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the scheduling feature that has been added and the ability to switch devices mid call/meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not that I can think of. Lots of good improvements keep coming¡
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the problem of having all of our communication in one place. We have the benefit of starting video meetings with the click of a button!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom has done a great job combining the communication of Phone, Chatting, Texting and Meeting all in one place. All of these features work together seamlessly.

We love the ability to be able to work anywhere with the ability of the Zoom App. I can now call my customers through my Zoom app and it shows the company number, not my personal number.

We also do a lot of screensharing. Often I am talking with someone and need to show them my screen. With one click of a button, I am in a meeting and then I can share my screen.

Texting is now a feature. We don't use it, but it is nice to have the capability if you want to be able to text your customers.

Zoom support is great! And they are always willing to help out and provide a lot of documentation.

They are always adding new features and working hard to keep everything secure. I've only seen security increase since we started using Zoom a year and a half ago. We started using it right prior to the pandemic and I'm not sure what we would have done without Zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
this changed the way we do things, especially after covid. we love being able to walk providers through our systems and teaching them all the benefits of our websites through their share screen option
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe if we could manage accounts with more than one person it'd be great, who knows if that seven an option already
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
understanding what we do, how we help, and how our website works, without having to travle all around the US for our providers to do their initial set up.
