Most satisfactory conferences
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom offers the best web conferencing today. It stands out in the category today for its ease of use and excellent UI and UX. You can have web conferences with people from all over the world at any time. You can have web conferences where only the host can display video or allow this permission to all participants. When creating a conference, you can enable the waiting room option, where all participants have to wait until you admit them into the main room. The waiting room will be available throughout the meeting, not just the beginning, making it convenient for participants who are late or their turn to participate isn't at the very beginning of the conference. Whether or not you're in a web conference, the text box and message threads are available all the time for chat-based conversations. You can have web conferences with one person or several people simultaneously. Zoom is excellent for those working from home as it provides the means to hide your background. Even if you don't have a green screen behind you, you can blur your surroundings or select a virtual background image that Zoom will display to the other participants for the sake of your privacy.
Furthermore, Zoom is an all-in-one software that you can use on phones and other devices for conferences if you cannot use your desktop computer. You can essentially take Zoom and your conferences with you in your pocket and attend them from anywhere.

What do you dislike about the product?
You get only 40 minutes of conferencing time if you're using Zoom without a subscription. This limit only exists for web conferences involving two other people or more. If it's just you and one other person, there's no such limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is excellent for conferences, which I use it for daily. It allows me to connect and work with my coworkers seamlessly as we've been relegated to work remotely due to the lockdown. Although the restrictions aren't as strict as they use to be, we continue to work remotely as it allows us to be productive and save time and money on the commute to the office. Zoom has been so handy that it solves all problems that can arise from not having face-to-face communication in real life. My coworkers and I can work at our own pace without any time wastage since there is constant communication and collaboration throughout the day. For any issues we run into, we can solve them by sharing screens, a feature for which Zoom is well-known. File transfer is quick and secure on Zoom, enabling us to send confidential company data and software code we work on without any data leak. Zoom ensures our conference rooms are secure with the help of the waiting list, where we have full control over who we admit into our conferences. Remote work at our organization wouldn't be possible without Zoom and it's by far the most important tool for producing consistent results and being time efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're considering Zoom after using another web conferencing software, you'll find it easier to use due to its intuitive UI and excellent UX. It guarantees fantastic results and it's free to download. You can also use it on your other compatible devices and conference from anywhere.
Zoom is the king of remote work communication
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zoom is not intrusive to my other work activities. It seamlessly integrates with all of my other work apps like Slack, Krisp, and many others. I've only used MS Teams once, and the experience was not up to Zooms standard.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue that I routinely run into is the 40 min meeting limit. Though, this is more of an issue with my IT department/subscription than it is an issue with Zoom. 40 minutes is generous for a free acount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company and team are fully remote, so Zoom allows us to communicate and have meetings effectively. In the rare event that some folks are in the office, we even have Zoom Rooms equipped with cameras and mics to communicate with others who are still remote.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Decide if you will have meetings that rountinely last longer than 40 minutes -- if so, you'll want to upgrade to their paid teirs.
Easy to work with in any circumstance
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to work with and provides an excellent channel of communication from anywhere and any device. It's pretty seamless to set up and host conferences. You can have voice-only meetings or video conferences with anyone anywhere. Conferences can contain up to 100 participants, and you can invite people during the forum at any time if you have not reached the limit. You can have conferences using any device if you have Zoom installed on them. You can easily cast Zoom to a larger screen or projector during webinars if necessary if you and some other participants are in the same room. You can send DMs to anyone on Zoom if there's no time to host a conference. DMs provide a quick and easy way to communicate through cross-platform text messages. For instance, you can start a conversation on your computer and continue it on your phone or tablet as Zoom saves all the messages on the cloud. Zoom provides up to 1080 quality for video conferences, making it the best software for virtual conversations and work scenarios.
You can benefit from using Zoom if your work involves interacting with people throughout the day. Zoom helps you ensure that you're always on top of all your meetings by providing multiple means for you to receive alerts. You can install Zoom's add-on on the web browser to see a quick view of all your upcoming meetings for that day. You can also import your contacts from services such as Outlook and Gmail to send conference invitations to people. You can also use Zoom on your browser to host meetings in advance and connect with people. Zoom is the most used software for work as it has excellent features to help people be more productive and integrate different applications.

What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom's screen sharing has a limit on the FPS, which can make videos stutter or cause desync in audio. Many computers and laptops today come with a 144hz monitor, on which it should be easy to view videos of higher quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom for conferences and sharing screens. With the ongoing pandemic, it is risky to go out in crowded places such as our company's building and work there. We work from home and base all our activities on Zoom. Our team offers app development services on Windows and Android for customers and other businesses. Since this is not a singlehanded job, we use Zoom to work together. We have conferences to discuss and create itineraries on our goals and how we want to get there. Outside of meetings, we can communicate using DMs, which are quick and available at all times. When working on applications for Windows or Android, we can screen share on Zoom easily, which everyone can view if they're in the conference. Since Zoom supports screen sharing on any device, including phones, we no longer have to rely on emulators to run Android applications for conducting tests and debugging. We can expand on Zoom's features through the app store, where there are a plethora of different apps you can integrate for implementing new features. You can use management software such as Asana on Zoom to manage your work without leaving the software and use Zoom simultaneously to have conferences during work sessions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd be lost without Zoom aiding me daily to work from home and have conferences with my team. It acts as a complete software using which I can meet all my work needs conveniently. Zoom doesn't have a free trial but is free from the start. Its quality and features are excellent, and it's quick to set up.
I started using Zoom when the pandemic hit and it has helped me immensely
What do you like best about the product?
I am an assistant teacher. So, during this last year and a half, we have been using Zoom to teach. It is incredible how this tool has allowed us to "transfer" many in-person activities we used to do with students to an online environment. For example: Group them, let them work together, and then call them back to the main room to check their work. Another great thing is that we can lock the meeting room. We have used this feature several times. When we have to talk privately with some students, we would tell them to arrive earlier, lock the room before everyone starts accessing and speak to them. Also, at the end of presentations, we usually say goodbye to them, and we stay in the room, block it and start reviewing works without the fear they may enter the meeting room without us noting, just like it was during the in-person classes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things I think can be improved. For example, we must call the students back to the main room. Two possible ways: One is to enter the room they are in and tell them to go back; the other is using the announcement option, but letters are so small, and if students do not see their screen, they won't even notice it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are translating physical classes to virtual ones. One of the benefits is that students now feel like they are all "in the front row". We usually have rooms of 20-30 students, and not all of them get to be in the front row. Now, all can hear their partner's critics and comments on their work. Another great thing is that we can record classes, and we can share them with students later. The "raising hand" emoji is also a great option to know when students participate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom offers the best user experience. If you are new to virtual meetings (as we all were before the pandemic started), it may take you a while to get used to it. But soon, you will love it. You will want to change it for any other software.
Meet online reliably
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an excellent software for online meetings and remote work. It's straightforward and has an intuitive user interface, making it easier to navigate and set up. You can send messages to people at any time, even if they're offline. Zoom will send notifications to the last device they signed in on so that they can receive alerts for any new messages on their phones if they're not on their computer. Besides being a cross-platform tool for messaging, you can also attend online meetings on your phone and other devices. You can schedule appointments through any platform and have sessions with people from anywhere in the world. You can share files on Zoom with a pretty sizeable limit, eliminating the need for third-party hosting and email attachments during your meetings. Zoom acts as an all-in-one software, minimizing your dependence on multiple software to complete your work. Screen-sharing and presentation-sharing are two of the essential features on Zoom that anyone can use. Screen-sharing is extraordinarily straightforward and allows high-quality video broadcasting of any software or window from your computer screen. In addition, you can screen-share from your mobile and tablet, making it convenient to work on Android and iOS applications alongside your team.
Zoom is second to none for training programs. Whether for schools, colleges, internships, or projects, Zoom provides the means to discuss and work together with people. Through screen-sharing and other collaboration features, Zoom makes working possible despite everyone not being in the same room or office. One of the critical features of Zoom is the ability to record anything. You can record calls, meetings, screen-sharing sessions, and presentations. Zoom allows everyone who attends the arrangements to view the recording for reference or to create reports.

What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom's major drawback is the limit on group meetings if you're using it for free. You can override this limit by rehosting the discussion after the duration ends or having one person buy the subscription and become the permanent host for all future meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom to call, meet, collaborate, and train interns. It's been a core part of my work-from-home life because of coronavirus. I love that I can productively work and talk to my colleagues face-to-face through video during work. Despite the long distance and not seeing one another in person, Zoom makes it convenient for us to work without any stress. The various features Zoom provides, such as file-sharing, screen-sharing, presenting, and recording, make it easy for us to stay on the same wavelength with our intentions and ideas. Our routine tasks and projects are quick to complete as we can work together with excellent communication all-around and work at our own pace since we're working at home. Zoom runs 24/7, so even during off-hours, we can contact one another on the phone app to discuss and make plans for the projects.
Zoom also makes it easier to supervise, train, and assist interns through meetings, video calls, messages, etc. We have multiple Zoom rooms, one of which we use exclusively for the interns. There, we can leave messages and have sessions with tools such as hand-raising that they can use to ask any questions to understand better how we work. Zoom rooms are an excellent way to split and divide our work into multiple smaller units and assign different sets of teams for them.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom is incredibly helpful for online meetings and working with colleagues and interns. I have an easier time supervising our interns on Zoom than on-site. Many tools such as screen-sharing greatly assist in training them and answering any questions in unison. For projects, my colleagues and I are having an easier time staying productive on Zoom as we can manage our time more efficiently and complete many tasks within a couple of sessions because we're always on the same page.
One of the best video conferencing softwares
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Zoom since 2020, mainly for virtual college clases and team projects. I have to say I like how intuitive this program is; the first days I had to use this, it was easy to find the options for camera, microphone, and screen sharing. I like that you can see the chatbox and meeting participants simultaneously. This last aspect doesn't happen in Google Meets, which my company uses for virtual work. I also like that it warns you if your connection is unstable because of my slow internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about this program is that if you accidentally turn on your microphone, Zoom doesn't show you a message about this. Other video conferencing software warns you if your microphone is on but sharing background noises and not your voice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Zoom solved for me was the virtual meetings I had to run due to the Pandemic. This program keeps being very useful for this reason. I like virtual meetings rather than in-person ones. That is why my college and business performance increased, and Zoom was part of it.
Simple to Use, Effective Application
What do you like best about the product?
I like that when I click on Personal Meeting in the Zoom app, it will allow me to click on the Personal Meeting button to easily copy and paste it into Google Calendar for meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is sometimes hard to cultivate individual meeting links, in that I do not know how to do it and the product does not make it easy to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an easy, accessible product for internal and external meetings (i.e. with clients). Nearly everyone knows how to at least get into Zoom, which has allowed my company to conduct meetings seamlessly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest that you really experiment with the user interface before purchasing because it is challenging to find out exactly what your upcoming meetings are or where they are all scheduled in a calendar.
Smooth calls, lots of options
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has a lot of features, but I pretty much just use it for its video call capabilities. It has pretty smooth video and audio quality, and it integrates with slack and Google calendars which makes it easy to send out invite links.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the settings are hard to find, and the default settings are kind of restrictive. For instance, I can't figure out how to allow users to copy text from the chat. If someone sends me a link or a piece of information in the chat, I've had to resort to keeping the chat open in one window and retyping what I wanted to copy in another. I also wish it integrated with Google calendar a little better. I wish that all scheduled zoom calls associated with my email would show on the zoom homepage. It seems kind of random which ones it recognizes as my meetings for the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is the leader in video calls, so clients are familiar with getting on zoom calls. It's secure and reliable, and has lots of features like polls and reactions. I use the slack integration to start zoom calls in a message.
Effortless Communication, Limited by Meeting Duration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of setting up meetings with Zoom Workplace, which I use for communication with clients, staff, and parents. The initial setup was easy, which I appreciate, and it's convenient not having to meet in person, especially during bad weather.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the time limit on meetings. It seems sometimes you can be restricted on how long your meetings can be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace makes it easy for me to communicate with clients, staff, and parents without meeting in person, which is especially helpful in bad weather.
Lots of functionality to help with the new work/school from home culture
What do you like best about the product?
I like that on top of being a video communication option for the modern world, you can also do things like present your screen, connect and control someone's screen, draw on slides, amongst many other things. It is helpful for a lot of different types of meeting formats as well as beneficial in the IT field to present and instruct users. Features like break out rooms have also been useful in many different ways. It works well on my computer, tablet, and phone which is also a good option for when one is on the go. I feel like everytime I log into zoom I discover a new feature to make life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be very laggy, even more than google meet, which is why we tend to still use Meet for most of our general, larger meetings. While having a stronger internet connection helps, it is not always possible, and meet tends to be more stable in that field overall. Sometimes I have trouble getting my bluetooth speakers to properly connect and even when they are connected the volume seems very low no matter what I do. I feel like, as a premium user, audio should not be the main problem I am having.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product has helped with long-distance communication, maintaining social relationships, meeting for the class as well as meeting with outside vendors for work. I like all of the tools that it has for classroom use and learning. It feels intuitive and allows for a more direct experience when learning new material. Features like break out rooms have been useful in many of the classes I have taken so far as well as being useful for interviews. I have attended several webinars on zoom as well and it always goes smoothly. I am glad we are way passed the time of having to use laggy Skype for everything!
