Streamlined and magnificent
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is fantastic and easy to operate when you want to set up meetings. It works excellently for businesses of any size, offering different plans based on your team's size and the features needed. You can make a new meeting from Zoom's main screen and invite people from your contacts right away to get the session started. Alternatively, you can schedule your meeting to take place at a later time. When scheduling, Zoom lets you not only choose the date, time, and duration, but also the time zone. This is beneficial if the participants of your meeting are based in another country and you want to schedule the meeting around a time that's convenient for them. You can have Zoom generate the meeting ID automatically, which is preferred if you're also going to be having other meetings. Otherwise, you can use your personal meeting ID for all meetings involving the same participants. One of the essential options you can select when scheduling your meeting is to allow Zoom to automatically record the meeting on your local computer. This option, when enabled, will also record the meeting for all the other participants, but on the cloud. They can choose to download it to their computer afterward if necessary.
Zoom is an excellent place for people to work, participate in classes, discuss, and work together seamlessly. One of the four available quick-access buttons on the main screen is screen sharing. You can start a screen-sharing session by clicking on the button and entering the ID of the meeting room where you want to share or start a screen-sharing session directly from the room without entering the ID. Once you click on it, you can have three modes of sharing, such as basic, advanced, or file. Basic sharing will allow you to share any window from your computer that's currently running. While sharing, you can allow Zoom to also share the audio and cursor. Advanced screen sharing allows you to manually select any portion of the screen you want to share, which is preferable if you want more privacy. File screen sharing allows you to directly select any file from Dropbox, Google Drive, etc., to share with the participants from the cloud without having to download or locate them on your computer. This feature is vital for people who carry their work on the cloud and want to form a work session efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly have any issue with Zoom, but there are some areas where it can improve. The interface is pretty dull and the white background can irritate the eye when you're working for long hours while you're in meetings. An option to change the theme or a dark mode at the very least can be very refreshing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been working through Zoom for two years since the pandemic started. Working from home has become the norm due to the pandemic and Zoom has been the frontrunner in making it possible for us. We have daily meetings scheduled to take place automatically, so there was only a one-time setup needed for Zoom to host our meetings from Monday to Saturday without our intervention. In the event there's any delay, we can always cancel the meeting and host one manually in the same room at a different time when everyone's ready. In addition to its seamlessness, the excellent quality of the calls and meetings is a big benefit that makes Zoom easy to work with. We've yet to have any issues with the audio and so far every session we've had to date has been productive. While Zoom solves the necessity to have meetings, it's also allowed us to share files and host screen sharing effectively. By the drag-and-drop method, we can share any files during meetings to pass files for compilation, debugging, and co-editing. Screen sharing makes it possible for us to discuss and view the code we need to work on as well as create algorithms. When we open up screen sharing, there's an option to use the whiteboard, which comes in handy when you want to draw or write what you have in mind to express it better to the participants. The usefulness of these features isn't bound to any specific industry and can be used for education and webinars as well. We can also share our screen from iPhone or iPad from our computer, which is beneficial when we're testing iOS applications for clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in search of streamlined software to have meetings on, look no further than Zoom. Whatever the size your may be, Zoom is the perfect fit.
Reliable and functional video conferencing software
What do you like best about the product?
I like to use Zoom for both small meetings and big lecture-style presentations. Hopping in and out of meetings is seamless. Features such as breakout rooms and participant management by the host are very useful for conferences, workshops, and classroom instruction.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, several features can be added to the app to make it more useful for workshops and classes. For example, pre-assigning students to breakout rooms does not always work (depends on how students log in) as desired. I also think co-hosts should have the same "power" over a meeting as a host.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems I am solving with Zoom have to do with remote instruction for university-level students. Using Zoom, I can conduct remote instruction and incorporate more interactive activities using the available features.

Good basic functionality, familiar to many users
What do you like best about the product?
- Familiar to most people post-COVID
- Mobile app works well
- Email notifications if someone has joined a meeting you're hosting before you've launched the meeting

What do you dislike about the product?
-I'm not a fan of the UI; it always feels like Zoom is designed to be the only thing you're doing while using Zoom, whereas I'm usually working in the background part of my meetings. It isn't as convenient to multi-task and multi-monitor and some other meeting platforms
- Standalone item without overlapping tools: we use Microsoft Teams primarily for our meeting software, and I enjoy the fact that it's part of our suite of other products we're using as a Microsoft-based environment. If Zoom was "part of" the other programs I'm using, I'd pick it more often!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Meeting platform that less-tech-savvy partners can easily use

Zoom: Making remote working more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It's very efficient and possibly one of the vastly user-friendly video call platforms. It is simple to navigate through, making it readily available for nearly anyone, irrespective of one's academic background. Over time, zoom has made valuable updates available, making remote working and online meetings more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many clicks needed to do almost everything. I wish a meeting could be scheduled easily without having to click on my account page, and it glitches sometimes too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom offers various preferences for users to join a conference. It's promising and valuable, but it needs a ton of modification on its virtual background.
One of the most user friendly and easy to understand videoconference platforms/app
What do you like best about the product?
The interfaz is so easy to navigate through, making the user experience a nice journey. It's very UX friendly even to not so digital people and that's great!!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes the main window and the small one with the different participants are separated. I'd rather have them as only one window so I can move it to another screen without getting it split.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving WFH and not having to go to in-person meetings as frequently as we used to before the pandemic. It's been very helpful, even more the fact that many people can join and there are no small limits.
Good video conferencing platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The internet bandwidth it takes is better than any other video conferencing platform quality of audio is good when compared to other platform can be improved by adding reply to features for messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much can be improved by adding reply to by mentioning a particular message because in group call there will be n number messages which we cannot highlight them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team meetings and client meetings helps alot in resolving remote issues by debugging them with screen share sessions and helps in presentations with going to onsite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest to go ahead with zoom as it easy to use with all the required features.

Zoom gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
I like zoom most for video conferencing and screensharing. It has other capabilites like phone calls and audio confrencing, but the stand out feature is definitely video conferencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed in the mobile apps functionality in comparison to the desktop app. I experience a lot more glitches on the mobile app and find that it's not always running in the background, so I miss more calls and messages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to screen share and video conference with a larger group when your company is spread across the country has been very beneficial. It has helped me collaborate better and maintain a solid social experience at work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always make sure your desktop and mobile app is open and running to have everything flow correctly.
The best Video Conferencing Software I Have Ever Seen
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a software where one can start or join a conferance just with a click. Here I have purchased the premium plan for 1 year and it helped me a lot to manage my business meetings. It supports more than 500 participants in a single meeting which helped me a lot. The virtual backgrounds are very useful to hide your dumb background just with a solid colour cloth behind you. The screen sharing is very advanced and it helped me a lot to share my presentations to all. It also supports the meeting recording even in the cloud directly. Thus I recommend Zoom to everyone who meed a video conferencing software in this pandemic situation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found some disadvantages of zoom also after using it for more than a year. First of all it consumes more data than other conferencing software like Google meet. Moreover the plans of Zoom could be a bit less costly, then it could be affordable to all. And lastly the system requirements of zoom is very high so u need above average specifications to use it properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used zoom to manage my meetings in the pandemic situation from the comfort of home. It really helped me to manage all my works and employees properly from my home in the "not so favourable" pandemic situation.
