Zoom saved us

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allowed us to keep meeting as a choir during the pandemic. During a time when people were on lock down, it allowed us to keep in touch and kept those, who lived alone, from feeling so alone. Zoom kept our community going in a new way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The challenge, however, was the sound delay. We could not really sing together, but we could turn off the sound and sing with one piano or with the conductor leading us. We did make a joke of singing "Happy Birthday " to members with the sound on- resulting in a hilarious cacophony of sound.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily stay in touch with members even when they are traveling or have moved to another location. We can continue our business meetings in a more efficient fashion- minus a commute, which is a big deal in Los Angeles.

Great for small business, even if updates can be a hassle

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been a standby for my business as I've migrated to nearly 100% online consultations. My current business depends on zoom, and I am grateful for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The updates and the timing of updates: you don't get a choice of when it will update, and sometimes - upon logging into an important client meeting where being on time is key - zoom will start updating. Also, it often logs me out randomly, again taking more time to log in, which never looks good. I have only a few minutes between most meetings, to grab some water or use the bathroom. Such sudden disruptions are always annoying. Thankfully they don't have too often, but in recent months they do seem more regular (this writing is 8/18/22). Last serious complaint: at some point my wireless headphones stopped connecting to zoom meetings. My meetings are often confidential, making it impossible to use zoom on the road with a newer version of a MacBook air, which no longer has a port for wired headphones. The issue only happens with zoom (not youtube or netflix). There used to be the option, when you clicked on the microphone, to "connect to airpods" or something, but that's gone now.

But those are my only complaints. Otherwise, I couldn't do my business without zoom. No other service, from facetime to google, can match the quality and ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Privacy and ease of conducting online visual meetings with ease.

Zoom is the best option for your remote world!

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Zoom is a basic application with frequent updates that make it even better. The functionality is robust yet incredibly user-friendly. It takes minimal training for our staff to be proficient in Zoom. It's also incredibly reliable and has hardly been "down" during the pandemic which is much appreciated!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing we dislike about Zoom is that scheduling can get tricky with Outlook. I wish the integration was smoother and more user friendly for our Staff members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom brings us all together even in a remote/hybrid culture. Everyone knows to look for the zoom link on a meeting invite. It's transformed our world and connected us in a time of distance. We also use it when we're all in person to screen-share in conference rooms.

Zoom Every Day in Every Way

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I was forced to go from in-person interviews to zoom during covid. I was really worried the quality would suffer and to my surprise the quality of my radio interviews was not compromised.
What do you dislike about the product?
if two people talk at once it is not optimal for recording
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has made my life so much easier. First of all travel, I can do it all from home and studio, second with a pandemic we can still work and keep our distance. And third, it has increased my earning capacity.

I've used them all, and Zoom is my favorite

  • August 18, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Zoom (first as a participant, then later as a host) since late 2013, shortly after the initial release. Even in those early years, Zoom was the best videoconferencing solution, and it has only gotten better since then. The number one benefit of Zoom over all the other solutions I've tried is how easy it is for meeting guests to join. I work with a lot of users who are not particularly computer-literate, so I have to support them and help them connect to our meetings. Zoom makes it easy to get these users into the meeting with just a few clicks; no need to fuss with connecting to audio or changing settings. The Zoom interface is intuitive and easy to use, with power user features easy to find if you want them but out of the way of users who don't know how to use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
While we did have a few issues way back in 2013-2014, since then I've been very happy with Zoom. Like any piece of software, there are occasional bugs, but that's true no matter what software you use.

The one thing that I think is missing from Zoom for me would be the ability to be logged in to multiple accounts at once. I work or consult with a half-dozen different organizations, and I have Zoom accounts at most of them, so I have to constantly log out and back in again. It would be nice for Zoom to have a feature like Slack's "workspace switching" tabs that allows being logged into multiple accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, I was working with people who work from home all over the world. Zoom is by far the easiest way I have found to have remote meetings.

Helps me connect with potential clients

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling meetings with potential clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason it keeps resetting the schedule to EST and I am in CST
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have more initial meetings with potential clients. Prior to the pandemic I would conduct these at a coffee shop and could only do 1 or 2 a day.

Best in Class

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is by far the easiest and most intuitive videoconference software on the market. I have conducted over 200 virtual meetings and not once have had an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't see any downsides outside of issues with videconferences generally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When COVID hit, I transitioned my in-person tour business to an online virtual one. Zoom allowed me to do so very effectively. It is very reliable and allowed customer interactions.

Zoom provides an opportunity to meet, brainstorm and record.

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Especially throughout 2020 and 2021, Zoom provided a way to keep in touch with a big group of people. It also allowed me the opportunity to host my radio show remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is lag, but that problem was very few and far between thanks to my strong internet connection. I'd like to see a few more integrations take place, but the product is still good as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it easier to connect with people in different parts of the world when we cannot be in person. This includes video interviews where the person we wish to speak with may not be local, but we can still video record an interview.

Highly Recommend Zoom for any Business

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use with my clients and the cost per month is reasonable. I like that it has options to record or not as well as the chat feature. I don't use any other features beyond those.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negative feedback for Zoom. I have been using it for over 2 years now and will continue to use it in the future for my business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do all virtual personal training, this allows me to work one on one with my clients and have checkins with them as well. I wouldn't be able to run my business without it.

    Mental Health Care

Zoom is a major asset to us as mental health professionals.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy connectivity and a variety of activities to engaged with a variety of populations such as screen sharing and whiteboard, backgrounds and greenscreen options.
What do you dislike about the product?
my least favorite is the cost at the moment. As a new clinician, it is a bit expensive but hopefully as my business grows, it will improve and be less of a burden.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connectivity, video conferencing and ease of access for so many that are not tech savy but can utilize this platform smoothly and efficiently. I have seen an increase in users
