Excellent Management Tool for Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful is the dashboard that links to my upcoming meetings, and easy navigation to plan meetings with optional templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The meeting request can be confusing for some, it's a lot of text and not immediately apparent where the login code or link to join is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making my new hybrid job easier, and if I can't be there in person it's a breeze to set up with colleagues. I haven't had any issues with connection or video/audio quality.

Zoom Just Works

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is the tool that just works, unlike the other main tools out there. They seem to listen to the needs of their customers and have a strong product management practice.

Breakout rooms that mirror how people actually want to convene sessions. Breakout rooms have only gotten better over time
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been a subscriber for a long time before the pandemic. It would have been nice if you had done something for people who were already subscribers once everyone else started to join.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easier to have meaningful interactions online as opposed to an audience passively consuming presented content.

What do you like best about the product?
Great for bringing meetings together for people working all across the globe
What do you dislike about the product?
Really have a tough time deploying polls and getting breakout rooms to work correctly and to stick once they are set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the necessity to be in person for meetings or to present training.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Zoom and use it almost daily! I work in podcasting, and I recommend Zoom to my followers and clients, because it's so easy for both the host and guest. Love that it integrates with programs like Calendly... makes my life so much easier! Separate audio tracks per participant is CRUCIAL... I wouldn't be able to use Zoom without that feature! ALSO... what you see is what you get (UNLIKE other podcast recording platforms). The peace of mind knowing that I won't open a recording to lost audio or otherwise is hugely important to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I love Zoom and can tell you're always working to improve the platform! There are a few features that could make the experience much better for sure:

MOST importantly, audio quality. Zoom audio keeps getting better, but it's not quite there yet.

HD video would be my next priority personally. The video quality of Zoom (even with great lighting and a nice web cam) is unusable for social media clips.

Just like we can get separate audio tracks per participant, I would LOVE to be able to get separate video tracks per participant.

The Calendly integration works beautifully; however, there seems to be one fluke I cannot figure out. When automatically scheduling Zoom meetings through Calendly, it puts the guest in a waiting room until the host joins, even if our Zoom settings are set to allow guests to automatically join the meeting. This makes my job as podcast producer hard, when both myself and the guest often need to join before the host. Would love to get this fixed.

There are a few Zoom settings that are the same in multiple places. This makes setting up new accounts very difficult, because even though my client adjusted the setting in one place, they need to go adjust the same setting somewhere else. Would be great if settings could be more streamlined.

As Zoom is now so frequently used by podcasters, it could be very cool to set up a button to adjust all settings for optimal podcast recording... this would be so helpful for new podcasters.

LOVE the screen share feature, but for some reason after the latest update, I have to quit the application I'm sharing in order to end the share. The pop-up box with "chat, record, etc." is nowhere to be found anymore.

Webinars and large meetings are too expensive and would be great to include in the pro package! At least 2x month or something minimal included would be much appreciated.

The support is okay (could def be better), but there are WAY to many emails! Normal, timely responses are MUCH preferred over the current system with multiple emails from Zoom support following every response.

I'm sure there's more, but this is all I can think of quickly off the top of my head!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love being able to record podcast sessions so effortlessly, from anywhere! The sound auto-correction seems to be getting better and better too (for instance, just this morning, my client had a fan in the room that he was unable to turn off, and it seemed like Zoom auto-corrected that for us - we couldn't hear it after a minute or so!).

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use, effective and feature-filled. Currently, zoom is the standard bearer for all video communication. It provides an effortless ability to interface with colleagues in a professional or friendly manner
What do you dislike about the product?
Being an administrator, sometimes setting up access for other, changing settings for who can join a meeting without a host, etc.. can be challenging at first to figure out. These are more advanced settings, so I understand they aren't intuitive, but I've banged my head against things more than I'd like. Granted, once I figure a setting out, I'm done and don't face that issue again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently are a completely remote company. Zoom makes it possible for our team to meet regularly, form a culture and engage with clients and collaborators seamlessly.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom can be accessed via mobile phone or computer, with no difference in performance. Video and audio comes through in real time, as if group participants were in the sane room.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dial-in option should be disabled because the participant may not be recognized and it causes anxiety by meeting hosts and video participants. Smartphones are ubiquitous. Unless someone is dialing in from a rotary phone internationally, the dial in option without anonymity can be achieved by using the app and disabling video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My meeting participants are located across the country, making it difficult to meet in person. Video meetings allow us to convey warmth and credibility much better than conference calls.

What do you like best about the product?
During the pandemic, Zoom became key to staying connected with colleagues and, on a personal note, with friends and family.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, I really don't have any complaints about Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For business, we are able to conduct meetings, share documents, videos, powerpoint presentations and even live performances when we weren't able to come together in person. For family and friends, we use Zoom to stay in touch, have gatherings and even for regular games nights.

What do you like best about the product?
Decent quality. Ability to share screens and presentations. Like the filters better than other virtual meeting apps --- that's probably my # 1 reason for enjoying it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most frustrating part about Zoom is that not all functions are easily accessed, especially once you are in a meeting. Example: Turning on Closed Captioning can be very difficult. Not everyone is going to think of everything they need to do to set up a meeting until they are in a meeting. Having the same user control functions across different devices would be helpful, especially when you are trying to guide another user to turn a function on or off while in the same meeting. The more direct and simple the language, the better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filters. It's important because many virtual meeting platforms are not flattering. If my hair is slightly frizzy, Google Meet makes me look like Pigpen from Charlie Brown, highlighting and accentuating every single hair out of place. So filters that help make people feel more like their normal selves, and hey, even better, helps people feel more confident while they are in meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
That we can have our meetings in the comfort of our homes. Yet still feel connected to the people we are meeting with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we were able to see everyone who is in the meeting on 1 screen. Especially when it's only about 15 people in on the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are bringing us together but still let those who want to social distance still be apart of the meeting/class process.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to navigate. It is easy to find the information bar as well as use the functions given. Zoom does not require much prior knowledge. You can get a sense of its functions with one use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that if a meeting has more than 25 people, the page shifts and repeats some of the same faces on the second page if the meeting does not exceed 50 people. I wish that 50 participants could be seen on one page and then multiple pages created if exceeding that number but with only the faces missing from the first page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom works better than Google Meets in providing a clearer connection and more functions for better communication. Zoom continues to try and create new functions that will enhance group meetings.
