Zoom the Virtual Meeting Room for this Generation
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Zoom is that people can come together and have meetings; official or unofficial without leaving the house or workplace. And at a reasonable cost...
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I dislike about Zoom but it would be more helpful if controlling meeting guest was more assessable to avoid hackers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easy to make monthly or annual payments and also sends a notification prior to collecting the payment. It would be nice if Zoom provided a text message notice as well prior to payments due.
Happy with Zoom, though I don't know much about competition
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly it's pretty easy to use. I have only had a few minor issues that got resolved quickly, and use it quite often for meetings as well as online classes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure I have anything to list here. I like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to meet with clients all over the world at any time. I also use it to teach classes, and like the ability to record to cloud or computer anytime.

I like how easy this platform is to connect with friends and how easy it is to make new meetings .
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that everyone has to be at the same volume level . I know with discord you can change the volume of every speaker to whatever level you want . Also you can talk over one another without it cutting off .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't really seen them fix many problems. I will say that one I did notice is they allow more screens on a tablet
An very helpful tool for scheduling virtual meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that when I make the meeting, it integrates into my calendar on my computer right away. It has helped me to stay scheduled and reminded me of when my meetings are coming out, without me having to manually input it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I dislike at the moment, is somehow my virtual backgrounds have all but disappeared from my account, and there is no way for me to manually redownload the virtual background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a lot of colleagues and people that live across Canada. And so for more the problem that zoom is solving is the ability to connect with colleagues across Canada without having to fly across the country. It makes these kinds of meetings very cost-effective.
Great platform that I use almost every day

I love that there is a free version and paid versions that you can tailor to your exact requirements.
The ability to record and store on the cloud is great as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
It takes up a lot of CPU capacity and always causes my fan to kick in on my Macbook. The recording function although great does not allow you to edit the quality you would like to output, this means it can takes a long time for a 1 hour call to render, which again takes up a lot of computer CPU and RAM whilst it goes through that process.
The random screen opening options can get frustrating at times, especially if you are sharing screens.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client sales calls with clients who are based all around the world. This means I can have a face-to-face with them and a lot of subtle cues required during a sales call are not missed were I conducting the call on a regular phone line
I love zoom a lot
What do you like best about the product?
I like using zoom because it brings people I cannot always reach physically into my sphere for work and social connections. It is very intuitive and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to save contacts in the address book and just go to it to sign on to a meeting with them. This is if they are just using their own zoom room.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to teach remotely which saves a lot of time and money in terms of renting space and logistical challenges when meeting in person. It totally helped me survive the pandemic lockdowns.
I use zoom for professional meetings. They are easy and reliable!

What I like the most about Zoom is the quickness to create a working link to send in a hurry. I usually resort to Zoom first but if a client uses another resource I suggest we use Zoom.

The least helpful thing is when a meeting goes longer than expected and gets cut off quickly. I wish there was a way to extend the meeting without having to create a new link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work between US and France so it's helpful with keeping in contact in different time zones. I enjoy the accessibility between countries. I prefer it over Teams.
ZOOM Changed My Life
What do you like best about the product?
ZOOM has made my job as a Realtor so much easier. I attend my company's business meetings on ZOOM. I attend Clock Hour classes on ZOOM. I meet with Clients on ZOOM. This is particularly useful to go through documents with a Buyer or Seller and time or logistics do not permit an in-person meeting.
ZOOM has also strengthened relationships with family and friends who live out of state. Monthly ZOOM meetings with different groups have become a regular part of my life.

There is nothing I can think of that doesn't work for me.

Resolves time and logistics issues surrounding Client meetings.

ZOOM FOR SOLO ENTREPRENUERS
What do you like best about the product?
The breakout rooms and the ability for others to be able to join the breakout rooms the desire. This is an amazing feature. Love that participants can write on anything when screen sharing. The ease of creating a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
broadcast video or share screens to breakout rooms. The ability to create separate rooms and have an interactive experience with one leader or split and broadcast to only some rooms while another person broadcasts or shares screens to another room. The ability to send chat messages to all rooms.
Also, wish we could have vote on something...or voting on comments to be able to order which questions are most wanted to ask. The chat rooms can get a little overwhelming with comments and would be great to have a way to rank or order them like in Slido or merge with Slido...How people are displayed - which we could have one big circle or multiple same circles. People able to place it like a facilitation room that's interactive

The ability to hold meetings with multiple people and create an interactive experience with breakout rooms. It would be great to have it that people are oriented in a circle or something when displayed.
Very useful for a small charity
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to hold both committee meetings and talks for members via a secure and stable platform which links with Eventbrite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems to be working fine at present. Quite happy with everything.

Getting people together who live a long way apart and who would therefore find it difficult or perhaps impossible to attend a physical meeting.
