Zoom Makes Meetings Manageable
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is incredibly easy to navigate and use. I started using Zoom for my business when everything moved online at the height of the pandemic and have never looked back!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for Zoom to integrate video filters/effects. I have tried using 3rd party applications like Snap Camera as a work around, but everytime Zoom updates (which is often), Snap Camera becomes buggy until they release an update. However, the most frustrating thing about Zoom is trying to connect with people who have never used Zoom before. I have had several meetings get off to a frustrating start because they didn't realize they had to create an account before joining a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business owner with clients all over the world, Zoom makes it easy for me to stay connected. Zoom makes virtual meetings feel much more personal, whether you're hosting a webinar or meeting one-on-one.
Effective, easy to use and ubiquitous so most people are familiar even when not tech savvy.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, straightforward for non-tech savvy clients. It works reliably and is so common place now most people are at least some what familiar with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can occasionally be clunky, and doesn't work as well on a web platform as it does in the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use zoom for initial consults and work with clients virtually around the globe. I like that it is commonplace and that most people are at least familiar with it so when suggesting it to clients every one is able to work with it. It's simple, and while not as elegant or speedy as some platforms, it is solid and reliable.
Zoom provides easy access to video conferences
What do you like best about the product?
Obtaining a Zoom license was straightforward. Scheduling meetings in Zoom was simple. Using variable passcodes provides good security for meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there were easier ways to allow someone else to host a Zoom meeting I have scheduled. (I have been travelling when a meeting was scheduled and it was difficult for someone else to be able to host my meeting for me.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has allowed organizations I belong to to have access to a technology that would usually cost more than the cost of my Zoom license.
Effective face to face meetings when you can't meet in person.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to sit in a room "together" to meet and collaborate is great. Seeing other's faces and body language is important in meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you have to upgrade to pro to meet more than 40 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that all of my staff and my customers are at a distance. it brings me much closer to everyone.
Zoom works well across various devices
What do you like best about the product?
I find Zoom to function more consistently and with better quality than most other conferencing software I've tried. I also like being able to stream to a variety of platforms from it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup of settings and other navigation are different between the browser site, the computer app, and the phone app. It took me a bit to get used to where to find things on each and I sometimes change which I'm using based on where I know how to find a given feature I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm building a business designed to create community both locally and broadly. Zoom allows doing that both in private meetings and in public livestreams (among other ways I haven't used yet but will when I get to that point in my business).
Can't live without Zoom these days!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes business collaboration easy, reliable and secure.
It also provides the best connectivity to family and friends when getting together in person isn't possible for geographic or health reasons.
I love that it can flex to however serious or fun you want to be for the group you're with.
We've simplified our life by canceling a lot of SAAS subscriptions, but we wouldn't dream of dropping Zoom.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like for some of the "fun" side of Zoom to continue to expand and improve. The interactions are still stiff and the raise and lower hand can be a bit buggy. Those are tiny quibbles though. I love Zoom and use it for work strategy sessions, presentations, and meetings, school group project discussions and presentations, friend and family check-ins, game nights, karaoke nights, guided cooking help/teaching, or coaching small and larger groups in our business. I've also extensively used Google Meet and Cisco Web-X platforms, but Zoom is my favorite go-to when it's MY choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More and more companies and individuals are working remotely and Zoom allows us to stay connected with them visually to maintain positive and credible relationships.
For our coaching business, our clients are all over the world, so meeting via Zoom lets us build trust and rapport through facial and body language that would not be evident in phone or email communiques.
In our volunteer organizations, Zoom kept our clubs from folding when COVID-19 shut down meeting in group settings.

Zooming Through Business
What do you like best about the product?
I like connecting with business partners and colleagues in different physical locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can honestly think of. I'll just say settings are hard to find, many of my clients struggle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with people from different regions, being able to demonstrate and even take over their screen to train them and provide the recordings.
Zoom allowed me to grow my business during the pandemic

Zoom is easy to use and allows me to reach people all over the world so I can teach my classes and meet with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a better way to play music through Zoom so the sound was better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can teach online now - face to face. I can even put people into small groups.
Zoom for business and presentations
What do you like best about the product?
Turning off chat so that people cannot have side conversations during meetings. It keeps meetings on task and limits distractions. I don't know how it compares to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited space for recordings and having to keep cloud recordings. I'm still a novice on recording, so I'm not sure how it could be improved or I might just not know how to fix it yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have presentations for companies with most of the employees who are remote. It allows me to be able to offer something for companies that have employees in different locations.
Good Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to do breakout sessions allows for use of one account to have milutiple smaller interactions as well as being able to mute and turn off the video with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the time when presenting, you can't see the chat. If I do see the chat box it presents a grey box to the audience. This also hurts the quality when recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They solved the problem by adding a waiting room and password so random people can't get on the wrong zoom and possibly mess up a meeting. This has made participants feel more secure with sharing.
