Good for Meetings-If You Have Access
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has become familiar to many during the COVID-19 pandemic. I cut my teeth on Zoom at my school district when we had to teach virtually; and this led to me Zooming church worship services. In both instances Zoom has virtually connected us during a difficult period in history.
What do you dislike about the product?
First, it’s great for us under-60, tech-savvy people, but inaccessible outside of our category. Second, as a music teacher, teaching a song to students virtually is impossible: hearing twenty kids sing back to you at the same time AND echoing 1-3 seconds apart is annoying at best - like hearing twenty responses from inside three caves. Is there not a solution to this yet?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables those who are physically absent from meetings to attend and receive work credits towards certification, as I did yesterday evening.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly, many features for communicating and sharing.
Record feature to capture audio and video is a huge help.
I've found it preferable to other conferencing platforms like WebX

using the chat is occasionally a little clunky
It would be great to be able to direct chat comments to less than the whole group but more than one person at a time

Makes it wonderfully easy to connect for professional as well as personal reasons
Being part of an international research group, and especially during the pandemic, it's been a valuable resource

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows its user from different parts of the world to stay connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the technology capabilities are lacking sometimes but it's still a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since the pandemic started, staying connected with friends, family and professional network has been difficult but Zoom closes the gap and allows for us to stay connected.

Having a permanent link makes each meeting a breeze.

I really don't dislike anything about zoom. It works very well for me.

My business is in business due to zoom. I meet with people all over the world. Without zoom. I have no easy way to meet with them.

I can talk to anyone anywhere anytime. It is the primary tools I use to conduct my business and build my market space while serving clients.

When folks don't have strong enough internet - that must be fixed - it should be similar to post office.

THE THING I LIKE LEAST ABOUT ZOOM IS THAT I CANNOT SET THE USA AS MY COUNTRY FOR MEETINGS. I HAVE TO CONTINUALLY ADD IT AND MINE ALWAYS APPEARS AS FRANCE INSTEAD.

I REALLY LIKE BEING ABLE TO DRAW ON THE PRESENTATIONS AND USE THE SCREENS IN A WAY TO HELP MY CLIENTS BETTER UNDERSTAND THINGS.
I AM GOOD AT UTILIZING TOOLS LIKE DRAWING ETC. IT HELPS ME VERY MUCH WITH MY CLIENTS AND GETTING MY POINTS ACROSS.

Great meeting software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of the software and the fact that everyone can join with ease

Sometimes the updates take a long time. Frustrating when I'm trying to join a meeting.

We are able to meet with various people and connect in such a way that is beneficial to our company

What do you like best about the product?
Quality video and audio, plus intuitive controls. Zoom kept me connected both personally and professionally during the pandemic, and has changed the way I continue to connect. There is no going back.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of something that isn't helpful!

Zoom solves the problem of wasted time spent traveling to meetings and attending meetings at odd times, as created by attendees being in different time zones, for instance.
Easy to use Tech Resource
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been an excellent platform for our small and medium size group meetings – it is easy for everyone to use with minimal coaching; closed captioning is readily available. It is easy to record meetings and save chats. Whenever I have had a problem, the answers are either in the support section of the website OR I have also had prompt and thorough answers by email from Zoom staff. I also use Zoom with school groups and it is widely accepted by many school systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent updates can sometimes delay people getting into a meeting....

More efficient meetings when people are in multiple locations

What do you like best about the product?
Our business uses Zoom for roundtable discussions, workshops, staff meetings, and quick one-off meetings with vendors. It's easy, universal, and a great value. The competitor we've used is Google and they don't have the options we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many redesigns of where things are and how to access, and although they tend to be helpful, it's frustrating to get used to one setup and then need to relearn it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business is built around bringing people from all over the world together. We would not be able to have the sessions we have in person and have such a global level of participation.
