Clear communication in an easy to use format

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has become my favorite form of communication over text, email and definitely the phone. It's easy to send a quick link and be talking to someone face-to-face in minutes. Because of Zoom, I've been able to participate in a weekly business mastermind with members from around the country and even found my perfect business partner whom I have never even met in person! The ability to see someone's facial expressions makes it easier to build trust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people are reluctant to use Zoom because they are still not comfortable having their faces shown on camera. This results in a lot of participants represented only by "black screens". However, with a little time spent on the personal profile, they can choose to have a still photograph of themselves displayed instead of the video which at least lets the others know what they look like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best part about Zoom is that it was easy enough for my elderly parents to use even though they are not tech savvy. We have a family get-together every week so we can catch up and even the kids come on a say hi. I tried to get something like this going with Skype for YEARS but nobody could quite get the hang of it. Zoom worked instantly.

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use from both the computer and phone. I like having a consistent meeting ID, makes it easy for colleagues who meet regularly to join one another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally if someone hasn't used Zoom to connect before it takes a couple extra minutes for them to download the app to the device in order to launch the meeting. People who use Apple products often forget their "icloud" login and therefore cannot download the app easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are always updates to keep it running smoothly.

Zoom Saves The Day!

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the recording ability of zoom! This has allowed me to make sure that all comments are heard. No need to dispute what was said or voted on, play the tape!
What do you dislike about the product?
On the free account, I would love to have a full hour instead of 45 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My group consists of older members who were terrified of COVID! Zoom allowed our group to meet virtually throughout COVID and we didn't miss any of our commitments. We changed the delivery method and after a few how-to classes, we kept rolling right along.

Simple and reliable

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very user friendly. It's intuitive and new users catch on very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints at this time. We haven't found any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving by allowing for virtual internal and external meetings. Especially makes life easier with hybrid work schedules when employees are working from home on different days.

Easy, accessible, and affordable

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up and share meetings. I also really appreciate the closed captions options...and the ability to save the full transcript at the end of the session even if I'm not the account owner. I also appreciate that I get multiple file types when I do a recording - so I can share the one/s that fit my situation best at that time (whether I'm sending to a client or posting as a complete event on my website or social media pages, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't think there's anything I dislike about Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping me meet virtually with individual clients and teach groups. The CC function was truly life-changing for me when it was added. I'm very grateful.

Review of Zoom for Business

What do you like best about the product?
The Fantom add-on and the ability to transcribe my meetings is the sole reason we continue to use Zoom over Teams or the other available apps such as Teams. We have found this to be an invaluable addition to Zoom. Also a big fan of the recently added whiteboard features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Zoom is the poor integration with my Google calendar. Until about a month ago I had no issue doing the one-click add meeting to the invites that I was sending out. I am not sure what changed, but the invites I would send out would link to a zoom meeting where I wasn't the host leaving everyone I had invited waiting for a meeting that wasn't able to start. This was frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The addition of the whiteboard screen was a huge value add. My partner is a very visual presenter and likes to draw while we are consulting. The addition of the whiteboard allows us to do this seamlessly instead of using our third party solution.

Best Virtual Meeting Product

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive functionality which allows even a novice to run a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that green screens weren't still needed for some backgrounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me teach a certification course over 12 weeks for 2 hours each week and provide good virtual training to the students.

Excellent Product

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. Due to the pandemic, a lot of people are familiar with it and know how to use it. This makes scheduling the meetings with third parties much easier. Resulting in fewer technical issues or user errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the pricing could be a little more reasonable and/or they could have been more reasonable plans. It would be nice if it had better integrations with the products it does integrate with. However, it integrates with a lot of products so that is at least helpful. Even if some are somewhat useless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes scheduling video meetings much easier with clients who might not be as technically savy. This helps us to run a more virtual firm while still maintaining "face-to-face" type interactions.

Zoom allows me to teach students all over the world, as easily as if they were in the room with me

What do you like best about the product?
My ability to use Zoom videoconferencing to interact with students/clients all around the world has vastly expanded my market opportunities. Instead of serving merely a local market, I can work with families that live (pun intended) virtually anywhere on the planet, provided they have broadband access. Right now, I work with students/clients on five continents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using Zoom is that it requires a faster upload speed than my rural internet can consistently offer. I do hope that America's increased federal investment in rural broadband connections will alleviate that issue in the not-too-distant future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to use Zoom to interact virtually was invaluable at the start of the covid-19 pandemic, when all of America went into 'lockdown' for several weeks. I was able to use the platform to convert all my student/client interactions to virtual ones. Since then, I've remained virtual and no longer offer in-person instruction. Honestly, I think I am going to leave things this way, because teaching on Zoom is so incredibly time-efficient and I've developed a host of pedagogical strategies to help my students flourish in the virtual environment.

Life saver app!

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing screen, breakout room, annotations... Everything perfectly works for my job as a language teacher.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up for polling. At one point in the last year, the format was changed. I liked the one before. Very easy to set up the polling questions and answers with copy and paste. Now, somehow I am very annoyed with it. But I think getting used to it though. I guess, that's not big deal anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I moved to Boston, and then NH from NYC in 2020-21. It was because of the pandemic, also I married and ended up with settle down in New Hampshire.
But I can continue my job with same students from NY area! Zoom helps me to keep connected with my students for many years even with long distance! I'm so happy with that. This is all thanks to zoom!
