Use Zoom in multiple professional settings.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has virtual features that are similar to in person meetings, e.g., breakout rooms, whiteboard, new whiteboard has features similar to Google Jamboard that can be used for post-it notes collaboration exercise to create affinity diagrams and provide insights among the meeting participants. It also allows screen sharing which enhances collaboration. The chat feature is great for engaging participants, especially introverts. It helps them to lean in during meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes screen sharing can be temperamental. The older whiteboard is also not very agile. The ability to add text easily like a flip chart or whiteboard would be a good enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a member of Toastmasters International and Zoom allowed us to quickly pivot to a virtual environment during the pandemic. We could hold virtual meetings in our clubs as well as visit and join clubs in other parts of the world. Zoom also allowed me to enroll in classes offered by the state of Maine's Mathematics and Science Center (I live in Virginia) to become a STEM Educator. I learned different virtual tools I can use on Zoom to enhance student engagement. Also, I was able to offer Girls Who Code as an after school activity using Zoom. I am able to be just as or more productive virtually as I am in my office. In fact with Zoom, I really don't need an office to effectively perform my job duties since I manage grants with four colleges and universities and can do this just or more effectively from my home office. In fact, I am only in the office one day a week and the other four days I work from home. Note: each member on my team is assigned a day to be in the office to provide coverage for the office.

Zoom is easy to use. This is especially beneficial for my older clients.

Honestly I have no complaints about zoom. I have a premium account and it is worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I coach clients 1:1 and zoom allows me to be location independent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easy to use and works well with clients and family
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of getting online by phone or my computer, the accessibility to all clients and family members, the option to record your time on Zoom with family and friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot recall anything that stood out consistently. I have only been annoyed by trouble getting online with enough to keep it from cutting off in the middle of a conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I have multiple clients back to back, it saves me time to have to close out with one customer and back in my vehicle to rush to get to the next customer. Too many miles between each to do it efficiently.
Using Zoom to continue my work throughout the pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to continue teaching all my music students when the pandemic hit in 2020.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connection dropped and sometimes my students didn't have a good set up. It took me about a year to figure out a really good setup for myself with audio and video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I could continue my job without stopping when Covid-19 hit. I was lucky to have a job that allowed me to continue to work online and not lose my job. I even gained some new students not in my city!

I like the capability to be able to easily invite many different users to a call, as well as sharing screens during a working session, and being able to record

I honestly have not had any issues with Zoom so far, been using it for over a year

they offered the closest thing to "in-person" conversations since COVID hit and everyone was isolated. It was great to be able to work, share screens, and see faces.

It is helpful to be able to have a range of functions such as screen sharing, breakout rooms, audio sharing, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike but maybe Zoom can add a timer function.

Zoom is allowing me and my colleague to conduct virtual training instead of always traveling to do in-person training.
Dependable and simple to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to navigate and user friendly compared to other online video communication conferences. I also appreciate the HIPPA confidentially when upgrading the account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Was difficult at first to figure out how to send a zoom link that wasn't "scheduled" to a specific time; eventually figured how to set a meeting link to "no fixed time" in the settings. Took a bit of navigating at first, could have been helpful to have a guide at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a licensed clinician and it is necessary that my video calls be HIPPA compliment as well as incypted when having sessions with my clients. The whiteboard feature is also useful during sessions as well.
I'd recommend it.

I like how easy it is to set up, screen share and hold presentations on the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my students get confused with the invitation email and end up in google meet somehow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to teach large numbers of students from the comfort of my own home. It has saved me several days this year in travel and extra teaching time.

Zoom is a wonderful way for my teachers connect with their students and for me to be able to pop in, as the principal, on their meetings and see what is going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any online platform, it can be difficult to read faces on Zoom. Sometimes this leads to miscommunications. However, overall, Zoom is definitely my favorite online platform for connecting with others!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is making it easier and more convenient to connect with others, wherever they are and at any time. This is wonderful because I can have teachers and students working together anywhere in the country.
