Somewhat Clunky

What do you like best about the product?
The audio and video have clarity. The chat and waiting room features are helpful. I appreciate that I can communicate with and see others who are miles away, or even on another continent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login capability is clunky. Sometimes I get caught in a loop and have to log in three times to get access. I have an older PC and unless I close every other program on my computer, Zoom goes crazy - The sound goes off or it's all static. Even during a good Zoom session, I have a video delay (on my image only) as much as ten seconds behind the video. The more people in the meeting, the longer the delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has revolutionized the way we do business in two non-profits where I volunteer. It saves the time and expense of having to travel to in-person meetings. We can meet more often and accomplish our goals faster. It's easier to reach agreements when all the principals can participate - and Zoom makes it easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Video quality is great and there are audio settings that can help when music is Involved. Everything needed is there: file sharing, chat, screen sharing...
What do you dislike about the product?
The power has a downside: complexity. Unless you use it a lot, some functions may be hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The last two years have prevented many real encounters but Zoom will remain a great alternative.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. You don't have to download anything even though there is an app to use. Consistent service also. Easy to upgrade to webinar when necessary and then go back to regular meeting account also.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you schedule using your personal meeting information, you can accidentally schedule another meeting (using a new ID #) at the same time and not realize your mistake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's keeping our business going. Without Zoom, we wouldn't be able to schedule learning sessions and meetings. Don't have to travel to meet people. It was especially helpful during the pandemic.

I wish that once you start a meeting, it would be easier to send the link to someone. Also the making anyone be able to share their screen not just host or co-host

Can't Live Without Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of hosting meetings, being able to create breakout rooms, change hosts, share your screen, play music while waiting for all participants to join on, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using multiple monitors the settings bar/tools bar moves when sharing screens, keeping the gallery open, and then it feels like everything goes everywhere. It takes a minute or two to get your bearings and see where everything is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom provides us with a platform to host trainings, coaching calls, and Q&A sessions. We are also able to host workshops. It helps us do so much for our clients!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is reliable. We have (knock on wood) had no problems. It offers just what we need for teaching immune and communicating with our students before and after class almost like you would in person.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some seniors a awhile to learn and they may not understand or inks his to keep their computer and zoom updated so I do some handholding at times. The tutorials are good for average level tech savvy people but are not simple enough for seniors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to teach without travel and high overhead renting space. Teaching students anywhere! We have been able to create a solid base of students to offer our chases to and no one has to travel.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything works well. Easy to set up calls and administer while on the call. Easy for others to join. The call quality is good. Many features are available like the ability to record a call. The price is also reasonable. I have had no issues for many years using ZOOM and it is my preferred product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The only issue is many companies are now standardizing on TEAMS. I don't believe TEAMS is better than ZOOM but when the parent company or your clients specify TEAMS, what are you going to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZOOM helps us communicate in a virtual work environment and save travel costs.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create a personal connection with someone remotely. Screen sharing makes it easier to bridge the gap of distance. There is a higher video quality than Slack or Google Meets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom takes up a lot of bandwith which makes it easy to lose connection & drop calls. Fixing the code to provide a higher video quality at a lower bandwith. When we have all employees in the office on zoom (15-20), the internet speed takes a significant hit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bridging the gap of distance. We have a few office locations and hopping on a zoom, chatting face to face, & being able to screen share so we can show what we are working on together really allows the team to learn and work with one another.

What do you like best about the product?

Annotations - when someone is sharing their screen you can draw on their screen to point something out.
Breakout rooms - great for large team meetings for creating group conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant updating, the more urgent the call the more likely it will force you to update making you late.
Can be a bandwidth pig when meeting with people with slower internet speeds causing lag, or packet drops from audio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to meet with clients virtually, allowing salespeople to have more meetings in a day.
Reducing friction in remote teams, non-visual communication is vital to providing non-verbal communication to text-based communication. When anything can be potentially misunderstood always better to hop on a zoom meeting and sort it out.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful part of Zoom is just how easy it is to use. No matter what kind of device you have, it's going to be compatible. Even if all you have is the option to dial in with a phone! One of my favorite features is the screen share. Sharing presentations, reviewing documents with the entire team, the list really is endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many cons to report......In fact, as I'm thinking about it, I don't think I have any!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We embraced Zoom when covid hit, much like many other users, and it has allowed us to become almost 100% remote as we grow our business. It has allowed us to meet with vendors all across the world to find the BEST companies to work with. It also allows us to stay in touch with our current vendors on a regular basis.
