Best tool for workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Ability for Adding tasks to team members for all members not just spme special admins and mods. Ability to reply to assigned tasks if by any reasons u curently busy or can't do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to be able to try premium feautures fpr some period of time before purchasing them, and maybe more video tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web project development and managements , as we all work from distance Asana is perfect for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should at least try it and see results.

It's changed the way I interact with clients
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to communicate with clients easily and in real time. I'm not available 24/7 but they are reassured by having Asana available to them at all times. It gives us the ability to hear their requests all the time without clogging up our email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the notifications can become a bit much but I've fixed that in our settings :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is our customer service and communication tool. It keeps us on track and helps us to keep our priorities straight. We also don't miss things anymore because an email got lost in our inbox. Everything stays in Asana right where we want it to be.
The best option, but still not great
What do you like best about the product?
It's very flexible and capable, and I like the personality in the UX.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface often feels clunky and confusing and leaves a lot of work to the user in order to keep things organized. Asana doesn't have a POV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks, coordinating projects, the usual.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's better than JIRA by a long shot, but you really need to have someone who is good at project management and your team needs to follow the established patterns and rules. Otherwise, it becomes chaotic and useless.
Love this product
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to add in new to-dos, the user face is very easy to use and get a good picture of where I am at with all my to-dos for the day/week. It is a great tool to stay ahead and not have things fall through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to do a reoccurring event for a specific day of the week. I also wish there was a way to make a task a priority.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me organize all my to-dos especially when my email gets crazy. The benefits I have realized is that I do not miss follow ups with clients and I am able to organize my bigger projects that I have to complete.

If you are looking for a quick and easy to-do list this the product!
Love Asana - keeps me on track!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana is awesome in planning out projects and assigning others to the task. It makes it so easy to have a template and then reuse it for other projects again and again. Thanks to asana I am always on top of my tasks!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be nice to have a better way of managing the groups I am in. Perhaps a control panel under Settings. Also I dislike how difficult it is to unsync my calendar (specifically my i.cal). It'd be great to one day have a support team I can call at Asana instead of just emailing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's hard for us to always remember our SOPs but having them in Asana under templates makes it 10x easier to follow through.
A Useful Tool for Coordination
What do you like best about the product?
Easy interface and intuitive controls. The ability to coordinate remotely has helped improve my teams efficiency and we are able to get more done faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Project summaries need a larger preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remaining on the same page, keeping open lines of communication. Allows us all to work remotely and have less email back and forth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get over some of the hurdles learning to use it, and get the mobile version for your tablet or phone. It works great!
Favorite Electronic Post-It Tool!!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has literally saved my life at work. My team is so much more organized and meeting deadlines because of this tool. I like the way you can create tasks, with due dates and assign subtasks to members on your team. I like that you can add detailed notes plus attachments (from Google Drive even!)
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more customizable calendar view. We like to view our content tasks all together, but not with the other tasks. It would be nice to be able to separate them out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management, efficiency, teamwork and organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a project management tool, this is it! This will help your team stay on task - and is even more helpful if you don't all work physically together every day. It's a great way to communicate about joint projects.
Effective Organizational tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me keep the important things in front of me, and keeps me focused. It is very useful for small businesses to keep things together. I like the way you can link documents into the to dos. Keeps everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to choose the boards or the to do list organization from the start. It would be nice if you could experiment with one or the other, but that functionality is not there at present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to keep my numerous projects moving. It has helped me be much more organized than I would otherwise be. I have many projects in different areas and I can keep them all under the same roof with Asana.

Look online for tutorials and think from an administrative level about how you will organize the use of Asana before you start.
Not for new startups and small teams
What do you like best about the product?
It shows a roadmap of tasks and manages teams efficiently. The more things and people you add to it the more complex and overbearing it gets. It may be better to have everyone manage their own tasks separately in a system like Trello. There less of a learning curve there. Plus, if you're a small team or a startup with a budget, Asana is too big for you. This is for larger teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't the right fit for our company, but I could see benefit. When it first came out, productivity software was fairly new and it was trying real hard but lacking in actually brining organization and increased productivity to our team. Too many features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity, task management, team accountability. All work in Asana if you work at each of them. Asana doesn't work unless you do. Just be sure the software matches your company needs.
If you're in a small business or solopreneur, this will work for you
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of this software. Whenever we onboard non tech savvy clients, I am so thankful that Asana is simple and straightforward, it doesn't take too long for our clients to adapt to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that you can't assign one task to multiple people. There are certain tasks that would need collaboration and I really prefer if there's a way for Asana to make it happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of casual or ad hoc tasks from different clients. Because of Asana, we're now able to have a better visibility on every team member's workload plus all client tasks in the pipeline. This has become an interactive gantt chart for the entire team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Kudos to Asana for introducing a new feature yesterday RE start date. As for another feature, I'd really want Asana team to find a way to enable us users to assign one task to multiple people.
