I love how it keeps me and my team organized and helps us stay on track with other teams.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how detailed I can get in my projects and tasks. Love that I can create templates as I use them constantly for replicating similar projects. Reminders and recurring tasks are awesome. Honestly, as a project manager, I'm literally in Asana all day everyday and am so thankful that it keeps me organized and on-track with everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that I had some tips or tricks for organizing things a little more. One of the other teams I work with has a LOT of team members and would like to be able to see all project details at a glance, but they have a hard time using the project description because they're usually viewing from a task level, not a project level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are coordinating about 10 projects per month with lead gen, creative, and development teams and are finding that we have the deliverables we need on time and aren't missing due dates. We also are able to hold people accountable for their work and timelines and keep everything organized and in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will help keep your teams organized and help you stick to deadlines. I love how easy it is to communicate between teams, assign tasks to specific people, follow-up on past tasks with reminders, and set recurring tasks for things that you do regularly. Make sure to check out tutorials or chat with the Asana support team so that you can familiarize yourself with the interface to get the most out of all the features.

Easy Organization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visualization of boards and that I can add images. I also like the feature that allows items to be synched over several boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more control over the calendar view and to have pre-made calendar boards. I run an editorial calendar and have to make and put in dates for each month manually. I wish it were easier to drag in files or images into boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to organize a creative team with Asana — due dates, tasks, input, etc. I realize the benefits of being able to assign tasks and see where everyone is on a project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend trying Asana out and see if it meets the needs of your team. I think it is flexible and applicable to many different uses and companies. I like it just to organize my own personal projects as well — feels good to check off items!
Outstanding tool for keeping all my teams and tasks organized
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is how flexible it is, as this allows it to be used for a countless number of use cases. This means that, no matter what the project is, Asana can be used to keep things organized. This makes it available as the single repository for all tasks and information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have some more features that would allow some use cases to work more effectively in Asana. For example, using custom fields it would be great to have a workflow engine that allows admin users to create custom workflows that auto-assign tasks to the right person or group, and encourage users to update a status on tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my current organization I use Asana to keep track of all my personal tasks, as well as coordinating non-development projects across our teams (like planning activities). However, in my previous organization I also used it to manage all of our development work. Across the board, it has ensured that my teams maintain visibility into everything that's going on and prevents us from losing track of what needs to get done.
Best tool for your business!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes awhile to copy a task, especially if it has multiple subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's made a huge impact on improving production at every organization I've introduced this tool at. At one place, it improved the workflow and production of tasks by 35%. That's huge for any company, no matter what the size is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! Change is hard but with asana and their team, it's so easy to get online with this project management tool!
It's very organized and efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is you can add and take away followers from a project or task, and it keeps your tasks private until you make them public. I like that it's really easy to organize by priority and by date. I like that it says the date until the week of and then says Monday, Tuesday, etc. It really helps me see what I have to do that week and when to not schedule other projects
What do you dislike about the product?
I think what I dislike about Asana is the inbox. I think it's not organized enough and a little all over the place. I think that the calendar should reflect your tasks and the projects that you follow, and maybe stick it in the My Tasks tab. I think the app could really improve because it's much harder than the online version, please make it the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think, with how busy Friendemic is with all it's customers, this helps keep all the clients organized and everything you have to do can be a task. I think we would be a pretty big mess without Asana. My supervisor can see what I'm doing and when something I have to do is due. I like that I can assign and assign a task to anyone that is at Friendemic, it makes for really smooth working.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a big workload and need to be in communication with everyone's assignments in your workplace, then switch to Asana
A clean and maintained task maintainer tool
What do you like best about the product?
Tagging task, assigning to other team mates. The most amazing feature is creating a sub-task.We can create a task and divide into further tasks and assign it and when all sub-tasks gets complete the task is also completed.
Another amazing feature is Dashboard. You can track your task/tasks,how many you completed and how many are remaining.Asana even send emails if there are due tasks. You can even prioritize your tasks based on tags. You can rearrange your tasks based on project situation(new, progress, review, done). We can even create a new conversion or discussions for particular topic. There is also a way to review your completed tasks in the calendar feature where you can see task detail for particular day.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it lags while loading the tagged links. Some great features are restristed to premium version and can be used only by those users. The most annoying thing is someone else can mark as complete the task even though you are the one that worked on it.Also there is a lack of support of office apps such as slack or google drive which our company mostly work on.
There are misleading text on the subtext in bottom such as User marked today. But it was marked 1 year ago.
Files tab is a bit clunky as there is no search option for files or arranging according to type.

We at Hashcube develop casual games for android, ios and facebook platforms. We have more than 2 million users for our hit game sudoku quest which is growing each day.It makes tasks review very easy.Anyone can assign a task to anyone and other can see what they are working on.The feature that is most useful us is project status.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can take the most out of asana by adding followers to the project/task.Add project/s to the dashboard to track whether the project is heading in right direction or not.Clarify doubt using discussions.Tag team-mates to get better response.
Asana is a great tool for work groups

I like the shared task lists it allows the company i work for to assign work and balance workloads
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a gantt chart functionality is basically whats missing to make it a complete project management solution at least for small to medium projects

Workflow and company wide deadline calendar, it has been great, productivity has increased.

Asana for Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana helps to keep my workflow in check, while keeping me in the loop about due dates, and the status of my projects. We never have to worry about missing due dates or updates to mission critical projects. Having the ability to access the Asana app from our mobile devices allows work to continue even while being in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is the sorting and searching functions. They could be a little more refined, but not a deal breaker by any means.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the constant issue of employees loosing track of their projects, and managers who are left in the dark when projects have issues or make substantial progress. We are also solving the issue of collaboration for complex projects. We can take the input of all associated parties and combine our resources to make effective business decisions and keep everyone up to date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great platform for workflow management for businesses of any size. When your entire team comes on board with using Asana, you will see an increase in productivity, speed of project implementation, and work efficiency through all departments.
Takes the worry out of remembering tasks
What do you like best about the product?
All of my life in the corporate/business world, the excuse of "it fell through the cracks" or "I completely forgot about that" or "Sorry, I missed that email" have been valid excuses for failure to complete tasks. In some corporate places, people seem to get a pass with these excuses and it leaves project managers like me with not wanting to blame anyone but also being held responsible for the project.
With Asana, things don't fall through the cracks. There are no missed emails. The projects can be duplicated so that the process is the same for every single project. This is a no-excuses approach to doing business and I love it. It also takes confusion out of task management in a project because there are so many ways to send coworkers messages and requests--in person, in email, on the phone, or in chat. As a project manager, to be able to say "Send me an Asana task" takes away the stress of trying to remember who asked you what and when.

What do you dislike about the product?
I tend to run across a lot of technical issues on a daily basis. For example, I will complete a task and it will continue to show up on my dashboard and I'm not sure why. It feels a little "buggy" to me but that might be user error!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a detail-oriented person but maintenance is not my strong suite. Having Asana takes the stress out of remembering those maintenance tasks which is so crucial to my business. I've already recommended it to two other companies as well!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Even if you're computer savvy, watch all of the instructional videos first! I wish I did that. I probably wouldn't have had so many technical errors.
Asana makes collaboration easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I personally use Asana for my task lists each day, week, and month. It's great for keeping me on track and helping me to prioritize what seems like a mess of unrelated tasks. I especially like it's project management feature. So, for instance, we're planning for a fall retreat and Asana has helped our team of four to coordinate our pieces of pie so that we're getting things done in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the way my personal task list sorts between my web browser and my iPhone is annoying. However, I'm able to easily resort on my phone and take care of the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're dropping less balls on large projects because we're able to appropriately assign tasks to team members with deadlines.
