The best control for your work projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana because I can follow my projects interactively, it has very good features to work in collaboration with my team, it allows me to plan tasks with ease, I can also have my calendar with all the activities organized, I can upload files and assign tasks to my colleagues. Working with Asana, I keep my team informed of everything important.
What do you dislike about the product?
For starters, Asana offers you a free version, however, it lacks many features that you can only use if you switch to the Premium version. The cost of this software will also depend on how big your equipment is, however, it is very beneficial to obtain asanas because with this software you can be more productive and take your company to another level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to solve many problems with Asana and one of the most important is the communication as we can keep the different departments of the company up to date with the latest activities and tasks to be done, in addition to helping us to maintain order.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before using Asana, it is important that you know what kind of project you are going to develop, since that way you will know if this software will be able to adapt to what you need.
Intuitive and powerful, a great way to plan and manage projects.
What do you like best about the product?
The feature set is very broad. I like the calendar, task view, board view and how they can all work together to show information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is harder to use and visualize than the website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and event planning. I realized that tool helped me to be more organized and to be able to explain my thoughts & process to others.
Decent
What do you like best about the product?
It is an application that allows me to organize the occasional meeting with sales colleagues, but of course I would prefer another application. I liked this one in the sense that it is much simpler than others, but I don't find it at all pleasant that the company has to spend money on organizing internal meetings between colleagues from the same department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Above all, the price is too high for what it offers. If they lowered the price, maybe, just maybe, in the future we would consider using this application in our company for internal matters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I help the newcomers who had no idea how to make a plan, for example, for meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The price is high for an application that only allows us to organize meetings; otherwise, the interface is very simple. Let's say that even a person with no computer experience could understand it, but of course, I like other applications more. However, it's the one we've been working with lately in the company.
Powerful and intuitive project management software
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful and easy to use. Intuitive UI/UX. Used to need Instagantt plugin but now that Asana has native gantt/calendar functionality it's no longer needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gantt/Calendar functionality could be more robust. Additional enterprise functionality and external (customer) functionality would be great too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Low-cost project management solution for emerging SaaS company's customer engagements. Some external sharing/interaction with external participants but mainly used by internal resources/stakeholders. Also used for internal project management.
Pretty easy to trach
What do you like best about the product?
if you aren't tech savy, this is a good program that has an easy flow and tracking progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant think of anything really, maybe some hints or best practices along the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Enterprise
Good task management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Keeping track of tasks for others (and adding to them) so we're all on the same page of what's accomplished.
What do you dislike about the product?
We only use the free version at this point. We don't fully find it beneficial to switch to the paid version, nor do we think we'd find it worth it for the value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management and staying on the same page inside the organization.
Functional and understandable for even the least advanced tech person
What do you like best about the product?
Organized, easy to manage, includes API so automation is possible, supports all of my team in a free capacity not having to pay by user. I also like that there is color coding capability but wish there were more progress bar options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it had task chunks so you can template out timelines. I also wish that it had better budget tracking and version tracking like if it were to integrate with a document management system or something. Something else I don't like is that there's a lot more depth to programs like Jira and with this there requires a fair bit of plugin use and external python automation to have it do what I want it to structurally. All-in-all a great product, just a few nitty gritty preferences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management x9000, too many moving parts before and now everything is slowly but surely becoming cohesive. We also had a lot of communication issues with other teams and now have eliminated a lot of those with contingency plans based on the different projects we have set up, as well as different methods to disseminate tasks to each team vs before where there was just a maelstrom of emails and questions and concerns from every which way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you like Wrike but don't need all the over-the-top functionality and if you have team members who aren't as advanced technology-wise as others then you should try it out!
The single best task management & collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a roughly 6-person company with team members spread across the globe, we live and breathe Asana. Ever aspect of our executive coaching business runs on Asana, from low-level day-to-day tasks to high-level aspirational growth goals from the company. Asana makes it incredibly easy to establish repeating workflows and build systems for nearly every aspect of your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
As powerful as Asana's collaboration features are, they can infringe a little bit on privacy if you're not careful. You need to be very careful when creating and tracking a task you don't want others to see or have access to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every aspect of our organization runs through Asana. We solve daily task management through Asana, 1:1 meeting agendas, high-level growth goals for the organization, and both long and short-term project planning.
Asana helps us to stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows our team to stay in the know on what projects and tasks are happening, who is responsible for what, and when a person completes or is overdue on a task. I love the general team calendar function that allows us to see tasks for the month across all projects, and the ability to color code projects. Also as a project manager, the ability to see what everyone is working on for the day, week, month, etc. is so valuable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that when you reach 200 projects, the team calendar disappears. It's strange. Not an issue if you delete instead of archiving projects when they're finished, but it's kind of a pain. Also the mobile App is really terrible and not user friendly, it's functionality is subpar compared to the browser version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
People from our team are often traveling, so it allows us to stay connected and aware of what is going on across all projects. It's wonderful to assign others tasks with descriptions and subtasks, and even to create notifications for when we expect to receive things from clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up, you won't regret it!
Good for handling large scale projects
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use. It handles many subtasks and projects effectively compared to other project management applications that I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the functionality improved to convert project lists to project boards, and vice versa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Asana for anything from project management to personal time spent documentation. I like that it handles some basic communication functions within the project, as well as being simple enough to create a checklist for each step of the process.
